- The debut episode of our new show - Bad Guy Breakdowns - where we look at the most iconic villains to grace the silver screen.
This week we're looking at one of James Bonds most ruthless, suave and calculating enemies; the former 00 agent: Alec Trevelyan. - Фільми й анімація
Alec Trevelyan is basically what would happened if Bond left the M16 and went Bad!!
Trevelyan was the most methodical and diabolical villain in the franchise imo. This battle was Bond's toughest imo because he was not only against an equally skilled 00 operative, but against a once very close personal friend who both grew up as orphans. Trevelyan also cared a lot for Bond as well, even going as far as considering asking him to join him in order to spare Bond from being a part of the U.K's destruction. In the end however, he knew Bond too well and strongly felt that Bond had a blind loyalty to the country.
Yeah, he used to be the most dangerous villain ever. And then, a guy with an even deeper voice came, a scary, tough guy, who doesn't rely on his henchmen and succeeded in his way simpler plan : kill M.
@@lindildeev5721 you talking about Javier Bardems character?
@@BloodandSoil990 Indeed.
Trevelyan (006) is the only villain who got under Bond's skin
Alec Treyelyan: oh stop James. Next I'll be ordering the Martini's to silence the screams of all the men you killed. Or if you found forgiveness in the arms of all those willing women. Even the dead ones you fail to protect
Trevelyan is definitely my favourite bond villain. Aside from not killing Natalya, his plan made sense and he was a great physical and interlectual foil for bond. The performance from Sean bean is just perfect as well
Can't even imagine the alternate reality where Sean Bean booked the role as Bond.
That’s some high quality content for 400 views. Great script and editing
Fuck, man. Xenia is SOO much hotter than I remember as a kid
She was Jean Grey as well 🥵
How does this only have 300 views?! Great video.
RIP Geoff, gone but not forgotten... MVP
Awesome video:D
Alec Trevelyan in my opinion is the bond Franchise most evil and Diabolical villain. Love the reveal in the middle of the film where we discover that Alec faked his death and was the real Janusz criminal mastermind, that in my opinion is the greatest plot twist.
Definitely not the most evil. You had the moon raker plot to kill off almost all humanity, meanwhile Alec wanted to destroy the British economy.
Great vid. The character of Alec Trevelyan is awesome. So is Sean bean :D
Agreed
Yes, Natalya had some pretty good Plot Armor.
if you pause at 7:00 min mark, that's a really cool shot of Bond on the right and Alec on the left!
Would love to see you do one of these on Onatopp herself, given the mentions of her. She seems quite shallow but I think there's a lot going on in terms of Famke's performance.

People (and me) who played Goldeneye 64: Allow us to introduce ourselves.
This was hell of a lot of fun Konrad, very funny. Looking forward to more 👍🏻
Thank you kindly, Stephen! It's taken a while getting a format and video transitions I was happy with but I'm pleased with how it came out, and really glad people seem to be enjoying it.
- Konrad
@@thecaveofculture It looks like you put a lot of work into it, it shows. Nice you've got your own little Konrad corner section of the cave to explore your own obsessions now!
There are some mistakes in this video.
He says loud and clear in the memorial park, that his parents survived the British betrayal and Stalins execution squats, but his father later killed himself and his wife... No one says that this all happened in 1945. I could have happened years later.
Fine little breakdown. You guys should do a similar one on Franz Sanchez in Licence To Kill.
A great video! Thought the background music was a bit too distracting though. Either way, a great format, and well written!
Lol your Boris description at 13:07 is so fitting given that Alan Cummings is actually gay in real life.
We could play this theory: 006's ancestor killed 007's ancestor (well, not really)! Just look up the historical fiction show "Sharpe" and actor Daniel Craig.
He died once as villain and lived again as Honorable Ned Stark and died again
Also Boromir
Age isn't too much of a problem, there are 50 and 40 year old people who look 30-ish.
Bad guys forever
Half way into the video I realized you were saying "Natalya" instead of "an Italian". I always thought, "which Italian?"😂🤣
I think Xenia's death made sense in the sense that she was so physically capable, so adept at driving, flying and shooting that her death needed to be the result of Bond being a lucky motherofengla
Goldeneye imo is the best bond film though I would say that Connery is the best bond, it's just that Goldeneye is so god tier that it surpasses all the rest.
Do one on Silva in Skyfall
4:54. I thought it was pronounced Y - annus
It is. Not a lot of people pronounce it right though.
@@luigihoratio5101 I mean even in the movie, they say Janus correctly.
@@Seriona1 I know.
Damn you Sharpe! If I had known you'd work for the Russians, I wouldn't have promoted you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤them all charters haha yes goldeneye
He faked his own death
And came back as the main villain.
That is so sinister. But I can understand why he did it though.
Natalia was too hot to kill.
