    Just got my new bill from Spectrum after my "Promo" with TWC ended... THERE WAS NO PROMO and Spectrum is evil... more evil than Walmart, Oprah and Hillary Clinton combined!

      There is absolutely no way to disconnect services.. they play the run around game intentionally. even if you get a service rep they put you on hold several times in hopes you get frustrated and hang up...if you dont hang up they will say they need to transfer you to someone that can help authorize to disconnect your services. then the phone disconnects. Hers the thing...they ask for your phone # incase you get disconnted but never call back.

    This actually isn't true. Spectrum IS trash, but they have HSI Assist, which is 20-30Mbps for $14.99. They have base for $44.99 for 200Mbps, Ultra for $64.99 for 400Mbps. Lastly, they have Gig for $100 for 940Mbps.
    They do lie A LOT. It isn't the tech reps. It's Sales jist lying, and retention lying even more.
    Worked there up until a few days ago. Basically got fired for not lying to a customer, even though I'm not in sales. It's typical of Spectrum. They wanted me to tell a customer they HAD to buy an AppleTV from us in order to use the Spectrum TV App. 100% not true. I told them they could buy a $20 Roku, and that would be able to run the STVA. Got fired the next day.

    We have Spectrum T.V. and Inernet. Our cable TV used to receive channel 613 which is CW-14. The view on our TV is all broken up into pixels. It wasn't like this before. Even the playoff football game of the Bengel's was interrupted ... This is not acceptable. Fix

    I just applied to work for Spectrum, and I promise you all that if I get hired, I will change this image of Spectrum. A business should be run not only for the good of the company, but for the good the customer as well. What's more, without you, the customer, businesses wouldn't exist. I am more than sure that there was a solution to keep you with Spectrum, I don't know of any successful company wanting or letting its customers go because because they have run of options. The problem with a lot of business today is that they have forgotten that without customers, they are no more. I hope to get the job that I am applying for at Spectrum, so that I can bring this company reputacion back to its values which I am sure is about providing the best service and convince to its customers.

      Alledgedly, I'm on the track to getting fired there. I'm in retention. I'm too nice. I hate pushing cellphone plans that claim to be unlimited when they aren't and 20-35mbps upload speeds. We haven't even attempted wireless internet or true fiber. Sadly, not giving a f is making me better at sales. The calls have to be perfect with a 50-100 point checklist to check off. I want to die. Not kidding but I'm super smart. Love tech and problem solving. 128 IQ (mensa certified). Smart people with high empathy skills do not do well here. Theoretically, dumb and selfish is the goal, according to someone who's not me. Hypothetically, I almost walked out today but decided if they can make the time to micromanage me then they can make the time to terminate me. I've done sales and negotiating before. I used to sell wholesale phones and tech. I negotiated load prices for trucking for years and years. There's a difference between quality matching the price and getting ripped off.
      Keep in mind this whole sqiel is alledged and everything I've stated is public domain about services. Other factors do not give an opinion but are of public domain facts. As I must robotically say for my own well being until the end of my time here.

    I had to stop this vid when you said it can run up to the 200$ range. Well by-goly I'm paying 225$ a month and this month bill is 300. They Really do suck a fuckin lot. Ok back to the vid.

    Furious is the right word they do it intentionally...here is my experience today

    Time Warner Cable how to deal for $19.95 my girl was doing in the school online she had to do her final exams in less than three months the bill went up to forty-nine ninety-five by the time we got to the seventh month she had to do a whole bunch of pretest before her final she was late on one payment they made her go into the most dangerous neighborhood in the afternoon to pay it I was like hacksaw Jim duggan 2 by 4 wooden stick I thought the guy was trying to rob her that was the worst day in the history of paying them I told her when she done with school you cut them bastards off she agreed I complain about it hour and a half to get through they said that's what happens when you late with your payments

    Spectrum that $49.95 on TV goes up in 3 months not one year it is not the fastest are you done with your don't need to pay for that fast it crashes more than drunk drivers and text and driving at the same time you will be on the phone for hours trying to get that fixed they always tell you to turn it off or unplug it and reset it got your lunch when you call them for help it takes hours with that boring-ass music make sure your battery on your phone is charged

    With spectrum your bill goes up 3-4 months if you do not keep an eye on it you will notice a change real quick when you call to find out what happens it takes hours pack a lunch and make sure you ain't got nothing to do when asking for help make sure your battery on your phone is completely charged cuz it will run out

    I'm glad I have charter spectrum and not TWC spectrum... Switching to the $100 a month, 300MB down in a week since I haven't had problems with Charter Spectrum the last 4 years. Sucks to see all these TWC customers having problems with Spectrum.

    For about awile there service was shit but recently there internet packages were shit. But now i pay 90.00 for 400Mbps which im happy with.

    Back in July i switched to spectrum and left them in under 48 hours. I had cable and internet. With the cable, i got useless channels and had to pay extra just for basic cable channels. When i called to get those channels, they kept saying i had to add tier 1 2 and 3 just to get them. which took the price for the cable alone up to $95. And with the internet, speeds were as slow as dial-up and i kept getting kicked from the router every 20 minutes. My total for all of this was around $180. ever since they became spectrum, they've been a complete scam. Time Warner should be ashamed of themselves for associating themselves with those charter crooks. I switched to AT&T and DirecTV for my cable phone and internet and pay only $85 monthly for all of it. You'd make the right choice switching to them.

    Similar experience here; I disconnected with TWC/Spectrum (horrible) the day I talked to the. Spectrum (horrible) customer service manager. I had TWC for years and resolution was never an issue. Rarely had a problem that effected me -Until Spectrum (horrible) bought the company. Then I started seeing internet interruptions and billing problems (which is understandable because of the merger). Their poor customer service is ultimately what caused me to switch. ...now I'm saving 50 bucks a month. 😀

    Has anyone noticed that all of these companies have outsourced a lot of their customer service jobs. I can never get an American on the damn phone!!!!!!! I am not prejudiced but I want to talk to someone who speaks English.

      It’s always been that way. I noticed several years back when dealing with internet providers or even cell carriers, if you call from a cell phone you get transferred over seas. If you call from a land line you got someone in the states.

    Spectum is just ripping us off i'm canceling i've had it with them they rised my cable TV bill and took away all the channel I liked to watch and gave me faster internet that I don't need I frecken hate them time warner was bad but this is terrible way to treat their customers

    Well, i have to say the truth.. the spectrum sales person told us lies including the cost of equipment. Complaining does NOTHING.they are ruthless because they figure they would lose a ton of money if they did business the right way. I too will make a video at some point to warn people of the traps: number one is that their modem is sufficient to power the house and that Roku is as good as a cable box to save money..just not true. They tack another two bucks onto the box too and said the price just went up...and the sales person was not aware of the increase. so..make it good. they do not. you can go with it or cancel altogether. they are the only game in town so... it's very important to WRITE YOUR ATTORNEY GENERAL and it's very important to MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT IT and it's very important to complain to the BBB and anyone else in government that you can. Enough of these letters and someone will force them to at least answer...and that answer might open up enough of a window to shed some light.

      Three years ago my family moved into a new house. We got Time Warner and were content. Then something happened. We lost the internet, the phone service, and tv. We called TW and they didn't do anything. Three weeks later, we left and swapped to ATT. TW then took a week to give ATT our information. After that, everything has been fine. Who knows those:p

      We switched to ATT 2 weeks ago and they've been great. Better download and upload speeds. My church even dropped spectrum. They were paying $120 a month and getting around 18mbps download speeds. They pay $60 for ATT and are getting 30+mpbs plus digital phone.

    Thanks for this video. You have much empathy as Spectrum truly does suck. I am considering DSL at 25 mbps if it provides capability of video since I have discontinued Spectrum TV service.

    my mother in law has alzheimers and lives in an Assisted living facility. Spectrum took over the cable service. Mom didn't understand the new controller and tried to use the "guide". Unfortunately, what she thought was guide, was actually on demand movies. She ordered by mistake, but never watched any of the movies....she also accidentally ordered an NHL package and of course, never watched a game. When she got a bill, we realized something was wrong because living in a facility, she shouldn't have a bill. We set up to have a "granny remote" sent to her, and Spectrum agreed to reverse charges, and even helped us set up "parental controls" so Mom couldn't accidentally order any more items. about 3 wks later, another bill with late charges came, then the automated calls started. Each time we'd call, and get reassured that it was all taken care of, and to disregard. 6 weeks and countless calls later, including another just last evening, reassuring us to disregard the call yet again.....and this evening, on Mother's Day, her service was shut off. She is 75, with Alzheimers, and is now crying, confused, and inconsolable. She thinks she's done something wrong. My husband has been on the phone with 4 different people tonight who are clueless. He's going to pay the bill that Mom wasn't supposed to have, because he's just too tired to deal with these incompetent idiots any longer. They say they will turn her TV back on by the morning.......

    Here's the scary part, they are considered a utility. Cable companies are currently working with Congress to let them charge for usage. That sounds nice right, wrong they then can charge whatever they want per megabyte. This would give them full reign to charge astronomical rates. This is a monopoly at its finest. Spectrum will be bought out by Comcast watch and see. Comcast will use a shell company like some small provider they own to purchase Spectrum. Then they will shut down the shell company and leave spectrum alone. Thus they will have full control of the market nation wide. It will happen, make sure to contact your Congressman before there end game is upon us.

    Dude I have Centrylink and the suck my mom and dad is pay 60 for 10 mbps and we were supposed get 40 mbps but like I said we are just getting 9 or 10 if u have any ideas what wi fi is the best and anyone to plz leave a comment because I'm about to get spectum or wow

    We have always been with either TDS, Dish or NewWave. NewWave is an excellent company and they are far moe reliable than Spectrum or AT&T. Something for you to consider.

    Ah yes, "comcast got a new name, so we're going to get one too! That will fix everything." Didn't fix customer service or strategic planning though.. If I outlive my Mom, I may give up Internet movies and save the $64.99 charter charges. Just like subscription TV, the price has gotten way too high.

      Sergio Terol I'll be posting another video in a week or so. Spoke with spectrum again this past week and told them I was canceling. They finally offered me a lower price but I said no way. Switching back to AT&T internet.

    I can't even watch cartoons because the guide is messed up. I recorded what i thought was spongebob and then the 20th century fox intro comes on and it's some movie. I mean really?
