- Опубліковано 22 гру 2017
- A new quartz vein was found several months ago and we are currently removing ore by hand for a bulk sample. Mineralization is found in the form of chalcopyrite, sphalerite, bornite, galena and pyrite found as stringers and solid mineral in the vien.
Prospecting an near by ore body as well, which has semi and massive sulfides striking through disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite in the host rock these samples assayed as high as 8g/ton Gold, 33g/ton Silver and up to 1% copper and molybdenum. The ore body is thirty meters away from a quartz vein in the old quarry. The solid mineral in the quartz vein is high grade and has up to 121g/ton au, 65g/ton ag and 11% copper.
Average grade for the entire ore is listed at the end of the video.
Au - 6.56g/ton
Ag - 66g/ton
Copper- 5.93%
Lead - 3.44%

Oh my is that all gold and silver mainly silver with the quatrtz it's so beautiful I wish I was there helping you guys
Cant thank you enough for all the nice and informative video's you put out there . Bought a nice ore sample of you ,also to support the chanel, cant wait for it to arrive ,been investing in the metals for decades ,now i,m after it ,never been so hyped before ,just came back from a gold panning trip in germany ,Switserland next year ! im learning alot ! Greetings from Holland!
Once again thanx for the explanation. Particularly when you pointed out that the yellow stains were sulphides!
I missed these early vids from 3 to 4 years ago
Love 'em ! l didn't find you until late winter , I think January of 2020
Really Good stuff
Gold to Ya ' !
I’m trying to learn about prospecting and the rocks you find. I truly enjoy your show, I have been watching for about 3 months. Thank you for your job well done
Thanks for watching 👍
Absolutely love your vids,I'm getting right into rocks now(waw, never thought I would ever say that!)
Really good info on mineralisation in quarts.
Thank you for another good video. Merry Christmas.
+Justin McNutt Merry Christmas!
I came here from the MicronGold Forum on Yahoogroups. That video definately caused me to hit the subscribe button!!! Great job! I learned too.I am hooked.Liked the assay results too.Nice toch at the end.Cu-Ag-Au.
Thanks for sharing this. I've got to admit that my mouth waters whenever I see such beautiful specimens. Some are so pretty that I would just mount them for display.
+Chuck Preston Thank you!
+Chuck Preston Merry Christmas!
their beautiful, thank you!
Awesome .. That's so interesting, thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas : )
+Sluice on Mining No problem Merry Christmas!!
Very nice! I just subscribed :) Thank you for sharing!
Thanks ❤️
Liked and subbed. Thanks for showing assays! (Now that I typed this I see I had already subbed :)
Gorgeous stones! Don't know but looks like Gold n silver to me. I'd love to have em just to look at.
Eita, estão lindas as pedras recebidas. Parabéns vcs merecem. Que Deus te abençoe cada vez mais.
nice ...best adventure
Nice stills of the _samples
nice
Great stuff! I see massive Chalcopyrite, bornite and pyrite what about sphalerite and Galena? are they disseminated or massive too?
That assay report may indicate there is not enough gold and silver to make it pay, other than for selling mineral specimens for private collections. Wish I could have seen the quarry in day light to give me an idea of the surface ore concentrations. Few processors want to talk to you if you can only offer them sulfide and sulfate ores, regardless of how beautiful the specimens are. And larger mining companies want to see the assay of hundreds of test holes, so packing out ore and processing it yourselves is probably your best option for now. Thanks for sharing the video; I'm looking forward to your return visit to this quarry during daylight. Also, next time, please take a good metal detector with you.
+Richard Robertson That is what we are planning removal of some by hand. The vien is about 1 meter wide, there is close to 30 meters exposed. running up the quarry. The vien is exposed on top for a few meters before it dives under over burden. Drilling would be required to find the tonnage avaliable. We may think of optioning to a junior.
When , for example, there are 5 grams per one tonne ... a tonne of quartz or a tonne of chalcopyrite as an example?
Another question, is it possible to find free gold in the same vein where you mainly find sulfides??
Pls answer these questions, with great thanks in advance.
That looks like a certain place I know off 550, North of Marquette, Mi.
This is in BC Canada
Wow nice i in may plays in. Pinas
Where can I send off samples to, I'm in Oklahoma.the ore is from Arizona. Also do you crush the samples?
I know ALS Minerals is world wide they do sample testing. They have a Tuscan and Phoenix, Arizona lab for Geochemistry. There website will have contact info.
Hi.very interesting. Can you just clarify, the yellow material visable in the samples is pyrite? and there is no visible gold ?
So just because you can not see gold or silver is doesn't mean it isn't there.
Ric
Yes, gold come in many forms there is minor pyrite and chalcopyrite in there. Native gold isn't usually visible to the naked eye until l it's over 30grams per ton. However when found with sulphides this is different. More often then not gold is found with sulphide minerals in this part of Canada.
i'm agree with your opinion
Terimakasih...
I own 10 claims at two different locations on lower Vancouver island , i'm wondering if you have a coring drill and rock crusher ? I'm looking to buy both for samples from my claims , any idea where to purchase ? and we have found major quartz veins on our claims . They're well know gold areas that our claims are on and we are wondering where you send your samples ?
+rgoertzen1 911metallurgist has multiple kinds of crushers for rock. For samples there's Acme Analytical Labs or ALS Minerals both in BC.
Do you actually mine any of these prospects? This one seems like a beautiful prospect. Hope to see you guys start up a mining operation. Your explanations are great really enjoy your videos and would love to see you start operating!
I think theyre waiting for that magical deposit thats gonna make them rich, whats the point of mining rent money when lambos and mansions are 50 feet away under some gravel.
Im just curious why are u working in the dark?
why dont you make a vídeo, where you show how to process the material and how much Gold you obtained. you have never showed the Gold.
We do show gold when panning. Processing sulphides is dangerous and something the refinery does better and will be more profitable so we don't usually waste the time.
I would say, Yall can use some TNT! Or a pocket jack hammer. : )
Great silver content and copper. What is Pb?
Lead
@@911mining dang I just looked it up too lol.
Lots of silver ore , but I guess it cost more to extract it than what you can recover yield per ton.
Good stuff. Watching your videos reminded me that i have found a mineralization vain. I went back to check it and found some material. Should i just crush and smelt to extract the gold or i shud send it for examinations from professionals.?
Sending in a sample will tell you exactly, if you know how to do assays you can compare your results to see if your doing it right. Definatly needs to be crushed super fine and sulphur roasted off before smelting.
Thank you for the reminder. Forgot about that. Yes i need to cook it for hour to oxidase. You are awesome and you have the awesomest videos, Wish you luck.
Please comment on what we are seeing in these quartz samples, for the newbies. Is that gold, silver what type of mineralization are we seeing? Great video but you may have to explain a little more for those who aren' t familiar with this subject. Thanks.😊🤓😉
First area contains some chalcopyrite, pyrite and bornite in the outcrop amoung other minor amounts of minerals. Quartz Vein is primarily chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite, pyrite, containing good gold, silver, copper, lead mainly.
911 Mining & Prospecting, thank you for your reply. 😊
Thanks for the video, you talked about Sphalerite and Galena are they massive or disseminated?
can a vein open up into a bigger vein?
Yes
What did it asay at.? Or are you just collecting purdy rocks?
We have done multiple assays from this place, really not a consistant ore, but its definatly a decent average grade. We had a sample with 18.2% Cu, 141g/ton ag and up to 50g/ton au. This would probably be our best assay if you took all metals in to consideration.
Have to go in at night I'm assuming trespassing on private property ?
Its is private property now crown sold the land to a logging company, during the video it was however still crown, either way in BC your allowed to prospect on private property as long as you inform the land owner with your landowners notification papers, land owners aren't allowed to deny access when you own the subsurface mineral rights.. The reason it's dark is in winter it's dark by 430pm.
Dam to bad it's in the park.
ebay?
Viral mama
Why at night? Are you poaching?
+Gypsy EX-JW A Million Miles Our prospecting trips always run into the night in the winter, it gets dark early and 4pm is to early to call it quits. During the winter we spend 4-6 hours prospecting in the dark some days.
That's awesome! I know there is gold in Port Alberni, I just don't know where it is. Good luck guys!
+Gypsy EX-JW A Million Miles Yes there is a lot out there! Sooke area - Renfrew is also good, Lake Cowichan, Naniamo River, Oyster River, Cowichan Valley, Zebellos, Courtney, Nitnat you name it we have found decent gold all over the Island trouble is the finding part takes time!
Yup the weather sucks here! Well it's nice to see it doesn't hold you back! I'll watch your videos as it's nice to see there is awesome prospecting on Van Island.
Gypsy EX-JW A Million Miles Off topic... I metal detect mostly at night because the sun affects the operation of some of my analog detectors.
On topic, I prospect at night sometimes when using a UV flash light looking for certain minerals.
Just wondering why you don't do this in the daytime. If you are underground, that explains it but I believe if you were, you would call it a mine, not a quarry.
This is the daytime. Its 5pm. In BC the wintertime has short days daylight till 430pm, summer has long days and its light till 10pm sometimes we have deadlines and have to work late. And it is a quarry.
Why’d you go at night?
Not night evening, winter darkness hits around 430pm usually in BC we are out 8 or 9pm
911 Mining & Prospecting ohhh ok haha that makes sense
Why at night ?
Sometimes our prospecting trips go till 8 or 9 depending on access and were we are going. During winter it's dark at 430. We don't like to quit early!
911 Mining & Prospecting That's awesome dedication, thank you for your informative videos.
Thanks for watching!
nice BULL QUARTZ.......... jk!!! wow
Why at night in the dead cold and on dangerous loose rock, despite your excuse below of early sunset in BC?? Are you claim jumping??
🙄 Because when you run out of daylight you don't just go home when you have a job to do. I'm not sure what prospecting after sunset has to do with claim jumping If anything your more noticeable at night?
@@911miningnot if you’re not where you can’t see the light. And you get a day off from work you can’t work all the time.
Where is the gold and silver... Are you even looking for it or just taking samples with you...
Were doing a bulk sample, removing a tonne. Sending it to a refinery. Gold and silver is in your quartz vein.
@@911mining ... Oh ok...I understand now... Have you ever found real gold doing your sample collecting...
@@911mining ... Oh by the way... Great videos... Very educating...and interesting...
Real Gold? Or Free Mill Gold? Yes to both.
