    That was totally awesome, I'm stuck at a microscope to ID some smaller minerals from what I can scrounge up here.

    Hi man can you please do a video and tell us what types of rocks that are usually associated with gold ore and show us what they look like or do you propose a book that have all that. Love your videos ❤️ ❤️

    If you boys can find a consistent ore body this discovery is what the word Bonanza is all about.
    On the flip side if drilling shows the entire exposure has mineralization at depths then the entire outcropping is mineable on a huge scale.

    I love the work and videos. I am located in northern Vancouver island and was wondering if you could reccomend a lab to assay my samples? Thanks and please keep 'em coming. Also, I would love to provide free labour for a day or two in exchange for some education if you ever find yourselves up this way!

      ALS Minerals there labs in burnaby download there sample submittal for and send your samples with the form to the lab. If you have questions on what assay to do contact them and a senior lab assayer will contact you by phone or email.

      Well prospect the entire claim first find showings, then propose it to a junior or some private companies we have connections with. Sometimes its word of mouth and we get offers

    • @bradleywalsh4103
      @bradleywalsh4103 5 років тому +1

      In monetary terms, in B.C., how much annual assessment work do you need to complete to keep each claim in good standing? Do you typically hold on to a large list of claims, for a long period of time, regardless of lack of interest from mining companies? If that was the case, would you guys setup and mine the ore yourselves? Just curious about aspects of the business once you have determined you have a viable claim to mine. I know it's not your typical video but maybe some info on it would make a good how-to vid(s). Thanks guys. All the best.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому +5

      Every year you hold your claims the assessment credit amount you need goes up untill 6 years it reaches a maximum and stays at that amount every year.
      Year 1 and 2 - $5/hectare
      Years 3 and 4 - $10/hectare
      Years 5 and 6 - $15/hectare
      Every year after is $20/hectare
      A single cell tenure is about 16 hectares in the top of BC, lower portions are about 21 hectares. We have tenures which are dozens of cells so we need to spend a few weeks out of the year on them
      There's also restrictions on what you can do like general prospecting you can only forward the claim for the first 3 years then you have to do a technical assessment such as geotechnical/chemical, geophysical surveys, drilling ect.
      We all hold individual free miners liscences as it's cheaper then a corporate one and easier we all have our own mineral and placer properties, but we have agreements on when we option or sell and prospecting. I personally currently hold about 45 active tenures and after general prospecting we will renew for a few years and decide if we want to keep them in that period. Same with my prospecting partner and other two workers we do work on each others claims but everything is run through 911 Mining as the owner and operator. Everytime you do assessment work you have to submit a report with, maps, geology of the areas, what work was done, future work, statement of costs, photos. Sample locations, description of samples, assay results all that fun stuff.

      @@911mining Very informative! I can imagine being "overwhelmed" by the choices you have to make,& also " dealing" with the ones you've made in the past, that you're kind of "stuck with"! Keeps Life interesting, I guess!😆!

      @@911mining great info brother. Tenure sizes are comparable here in Ontario. Cells range from 17.7 ha in the North to 24 ha in the South. I imagine that adds up pretty fast with dozens of contiguous cells staked. Not long ago, Ontario switched over to their online georeferencing platform, effectively allowing you to stake claims from your computer. I'm by far a novice so I couldn't say whether or not that change is a good thing. However I do know the first year the number of claims staked skyrocketed. Plenty of computer desk prospectors out there I suppose lol. The majority of our mineral wealth comes from the Canadian Shield, Precambrian igneous and high-grade metamorphic rock. It's well north of me which is unfortunate. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to merge my day job with my love of the North country and geology. Until then, it's mostly hobby prospecting all the way lol. Never know what you will find If you don't get out there. Keep up the awesome vids.

    In a purely esthetic sense your samples are things of beauty! Too bad they oxidize over time.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому +3

      At least the chalcopyrite oxidizes iridescent so they look colorful, not so much pyrite...

      @@911mining If this is so, you may be able to sell specimens as collectors pieces to folks. I really do think you actually have a marketable item. I'm a rock hound by nature, always have been. Hell, if the specimens were unique enough I'd literally take a pass on gold. This being said, some of the samples you've shown are truly knock outs! Do yourself a favor and look into this, it can't hurt and your return per "ton" could be staggering. Good luck now.

    Why do you send them for testing? What are you looking for?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому

      To see what is in the samples, usually there are indications for minerals but you can't ever tell the quantity of each mineral unless you test. We look for any mineable mineral, we will often do a 50 element test initially to see anomalous results then test for those for other samples.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому

      10 commercials...really? max should be 4, unless UA-cam's tripling up on adds...usually you will see 1-3.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому +2

      We can chose at what points adds are potentially shown, we only ever choose 4 spots, usually you will get max 3 adds shown, but its usually one or two. Lately UA-cam's been doubling up on adds for some reason. I can get a few but to many's not in our intrest either. Adds are what pay for our videos to be made otherwise we wouldn't be able to afford making extra videos... But to many is also not what we want either...I have heard from other youtubers that UA-cam has been doubling down on some videos for whatever reason...the other day I wanted to watch a video but it had a 33 minute non skippable add. Sorry guys not meant to be an add fest.
