Some MOBO have this function some don't and effects on each mobo is configure differently by manufacturer.. What AMD Cool and Quite do is CPU power saving, meaning it forces cpu clock to go down specially when not in use which reduce cpu over all time and if Case fan are base on CPU temp then this will make the Fan much more quiter.. But again since it reduces Core Clock speed this mean it reduce performance since it lower some core below base clock (for light usage its a good option but for heavy cpu workload and competitive gaming user wants this disabled) for gaming it will reduce stuttering due to fluctuation of core clock.
This feature is only suitable for laptops because its aim is to reduce CPU power consumption by reducing the clock speed and preventing the CPU from overheating. Of course, performance will decrease. If you are using a desktop PC, you should disable it
I'm trying to change the core voltage but when I set a value in the override CPU core voltage box the actual voltage remains the original one. I see this in your bios too. Why this? How can I change the voltage? In default settings the mobo gives too many volts at my cpu and I need to calm it down.
download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/E7B86v3.1.pdf According to the documentation(page #56), I think it's already enabled so MSI might have removed the option from BIOS.
Para qué sirve el cool ‘n’ Quiet. Según internet es para controlar el funcionamiento del CPU cuando no necesita tanto de él lo reduce y cuando le pide más le da. Es cierto???

I have the same motherboard with 2060 super 8gb, I notice frame drops after gaming for an hour, also my cpu cooler rgb does not sync with motherboard. Can you assist?
So if I understood correctly, your graphics card works fine initially and after some gaming it starts frame dropping. Looks like thermal throttling to me. For the RGB sync, your system and the cooler should support one common software for example MSI Mystic Light. If not, I think the only option you have left is to find a 3rd party software, there are few open source available, maybe those are useful to you.
@@thatdude6440 if it's thermal throttling then upgrading to a 240 mm AIO will help? I mean it will cool down the processor which is 3700x, if yes then which AIO do you suggest? I am personally thinking of Arctic freezer ii or Lian li galahad.

When was the last time you changed the thermal paste? It might have gotten dry, so you might just need to re-apply the paste and you're good with the cooler you've got. The wraith prism cooler has 3 connectors. Are all of them connected to the motherboard?
Why? It is clean and works. Only issue i see with it that it might be too large for some desks. But other than that it is cool keyboard. Membrane keyboards havent changed that much since they are made. So why bother.

It's renamed to PSS surpport.

This option disappeared from my bios after update
Why did you disabled C-State? It controls all stages in voltage (Idle-Work-Boost) without it, there's no idle and you gonna pay more for electricity
