I have these as well and I love them! I’m on the stock wheels and went up to a 245/40R19 for grip. Because you also get a taller sidewall on these, I have a noticeably smoother and quieter ride. It felt like I was driving a different car for a while. And the grip is amazing. I have even better wet grip than my all seasons. I would break traction (dry) up to 4th gear on my all season’s (on Phearable stage 4 flex fuel tune with bolt ons, 6 speed) and now I barely slip in second. I also just installed the Hasport upper and lower torque mounts which help traction even more. Highly recommend! And the cornering grip is great too. They made me laugh the first time a took a round-a-bout fast 😂 they can hold some G’s and really allow your car to perform. They are the best you could expect with a 300 treadwear rating. If someone wanted even more grip, they could go down to a 220 treadwear. But then you’re sacrificing even more mileage.
@@TheLemonFactor were hubcentric rings required to add the wedsport SA25R to the hub of the accord? Was there any space between the center of the wheel, and the center of the hub on the car between the lugs? Need to know before mine arive so I dont have to take them back off.
When I got mine I noticed every time I’d go through any sort of gravel on the road, I’d hear it completely tear up and hit the under side of the side skirts and the fender walls. Still love these tires, wet or dry I always have grip.
Ive seen some people upgrading an top side engine mount to the manual transmission mount. The mount is made of steel vs whats stock seems to help with wheel hop and helps put the power down
I'm happy with my General G Max Rs 245/40/19 on stock wheels. Rides smoother and loads of grip dry and wet. I'm on ktuner stage 2, and it barely breaks loose at all. I would recommend these tires to anybody. I had them on my 16 Dodge Challenger 392 Scat pack 6mt, and they were great on that car too.
Wow 265! I was thinking of getting 255 40r19 on stock rims and worrying about rubbing. Any thoughts on that? Im at stock height on my 2020 Accord 2.0 and currently have 235 40r19 tires.
just had mine installed and its cold and wet here and these tires have been great. now i drive somewhat aggressive but im still learning these tires and i leave my TC on and these tires have serious grip. im anxious to push them when its warmer.
I went with the same wheels, same sizes, but chose the yokohama advan AO52s instead. They were cheaper and in most tests rated higher. Plus I always used to run yokos on my wrx, focus rs, and 370s. And for some odd reason the yokos were cheaper than the tires you chose. By over 20 bucks a tire in tire rack at the time of purchase.
With all your power mods I'm still surprised you haven't upgraded the motor mounts yet. I know you've mention you don't think it's worth it but everyone that has a 350+ hp accord say it's a must get and have nothing but good things to say post install . Like Nike , just do it!!!
I do not experience any wheel hop - zero, zilch. stiffer mounts will help transfer the power, but I don’t have a problem with that - in doing so it will deliver even more torque to break the tires lose. Motor mounts are not the holly grail of traction with this platform, and certainly not without its drawbacks. Don’t “do it” simply because everyone else is.
how much who and tq you have to the wheels? I have right now full bolts on, type R fk8 turbo with custom tune and 355 whp-370tq to the wheels and im thinking of adding meth and I'll be around 405whp-425 tq to the wheels... and I was thinking of buying these tires, do you believe with that power these tires will grip perfectly? I was thinking of buying the nittos NT555 G2 for what I've seen they are good and the same as these Michelins and they are 120$ less for 265-35-18...
@@williamlatorre3441 I don't have direct experience with the Nittos. With that said, they should be grippier given their rating and classification. I will say that aside from slicks, I'm sure you're going to get wheel spin regardless, given the amount of torque, and the fact that it's front wheel drive.
Can you? - yes, but it will result in a larger overall diameter wheel, which will impact your the accuracy of your speedometer. Why are you increasing the aspect ratio?
@The Lemon Factor! LLC I am increasing the aspect ratio because I wanted more a comfort ride by not feeling all the bumpy road. Since the stock tire wall is low profile tires. In short wanted thicker side wall of my tires.

Great point regarding the tread wear rating - they’re even more impressive considering they have a 300 rating 👍😁

They definitely seem like great tires, and the price reflects that!
I don’t always believe in the saying, “you get what you pay for”, but in this case…
Heavy rain in Denver just so that Chad could evaluate the Michelins in wet weather. 😂
😂. At least I was able to avoid the damaging hail 👍
Feels like Highlands Ranch. Used to work there. Have since moved south. Hate snow lol
South as in Texas?

I went with 245 45 19 Michelin Cross Climate 2"s, wish i would've gotten 255 45 19"s
Solid all-season tire that I’ll be putting on our SUV soon 👍

I don’t think you’ll have any problems with rubbing. The increase in overall diameter would be ~8mm.
Suggestions for comfy ride ?
Spin the stock Michelin primacy tires till they are hot. Two spins will get me a lot of grip when run on 32 psi. 48psi for daily drive and smooth.
I’m sure you do notice much more grip at 32psi, as 48psi is crazy high 😮
Great video

Chad, can I put tires 245/50/19 on my 2019 accord touring? my '19 accord touring is stock suspension. and I will be using my stock rims. Thanks Chad.

Did you notice an impact on your MPG since switching to 265s?
Hard to tell - my MPGs has gone down, but it’s difficult to say if it was the tires or the larger turbo. I’m guessing it’s mostly from the turbo 🤷♂️
