LOL THE MASSAGE STORY. 100% accurate with most Asian massages. They scrub you raw, slap you around, and force you to have the flexibility of a contortionist. And at the end of it you gotta look them in the eye and smile like you didn't just see your whole life flash before your eyes.
'I'm not unfriendly, I just don't want to talk to you right now' literally me lmao 😂 omg I had to add this to my comment . when Evelyn was talking about the massage part I was crying 😭😂
There are so many folks on UA-cam doing what they see every other UA-camr do. Its so refreshing to see someone be themselves and be hella funny doing it. You are destined for so much more! Cant wait.
I need you on tv 🤔 how bout season 4 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, cousin of Titus attending University as a film student help him become famous...just a little pitch lol
He said, "put it in google translator." I said, "what I won't do, is have a google translated tattoo. That's what I won't do sir." I hollered! LOL. I'm over here crying. 😂😂😂 I love this girl!

Greetings Evelyn! I did the SEAsia experience in my own (3 countries) and loved it! I traveled to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Bali. because I was on my own, I traveled with help of Trip Advisor and the hotel concierge service to find local tour guides to address the language and some safety issues when I wanted to be out and about at nignt. the food was amazing for me, the temples, nature, shopping, walking thru the streets and riding pub Tran was fun for me. why did I go alone? I couldn't get anyone to go with me so I went on my own. I had a friend in Malaysia so we met up and she took me around on one day in Kuala Lumpur, but mostly I was on my own. I recently did group travel to Cuba for a dance and culture exchange and I recommend you go. the Afro Cuban experience is awesome and I think you would love it! great point on those of us with some introverted traits! what I did and to allow for my introverted moments, I paid the extra money for a single room. it was an amazing experience but at times a bit overwhelmed by the "groupiness" parts... y'know? it was good to know I had a built in spot to recharge. what to pack? my advice is the same as yours, resist the urge to take your whole closet with you. research the climate and customs (Balinese temples are the same as Thai, but they provide sarongs for women on site for free!) and take some woolite and work it out. why? besides the fact you will be in shopping and knock off Mecca, some (ok, most) spots do not have elevators and you will be hauling your own bags so plan accordingly. I also had the "just roll up on me and touch my skin and hair" moments when I was in Japan. that was not cool for me ... not gonna lie... love your channel and keep doing what you do!!
Carole Brown really in Japan?!?! It did not happened to me when I was there and I was wondering if it could happen there too (see my comment above on South Korea)
Carole Brown I can only imagine 😣 There are just people (anywhere in the world actually) who don't think it's invasive to touch someone's hair. I actually feel sorry for them, cuz with my LOC method, their hand is gonna be greasy AS FUCK 😂😂😂
I hear ya! Well I'm a DC girl and touching me can get folks catching hands, ya know??! But I tried to just breathe thru it and gave a death glare that said, ok that was your ONE... And that worked. I laughed when Ev said the umbrella carrying countries because that is so true! If you haven't gone I recommend a trip to Thailand, Bali and Malyasia. Mad fun was had by me!
Carole Brown loool!!! I totally get it: a punch in the face can happen so fast 😂 In Asia, I only went to South Korea and Japan so far. I would like to go to China before Thailand because I'm studying Chinese. And before all that I would love to go to New York and New Orleans: I'm French and I've actually never been to the US!
South of France was wild, everyone thought I was a nanny or a housemaid, but it's cool because everything there is fried in butter and dinner is like 7 courses. And they take naps in the middle of the day. And everything is a castle.
I love traveling so much! This video is great haha! I've lived in Japan and visited S. Korea and enjoyed it so much! I plan on going back to Japan then Thailand (yay) then India! Can't wait to vlog my adventures there (= Love hearing your Thailand stories! It'll be my first time going!
I too am a plane sleeper, as an Australian most long haul flights start at night so it's always a movie, red wine with dinner maybe a cognac and boom wake me in 13 hrs at my stop over. Also that Dallas Sydney flight is only 15.5 hrs you should definitely come here!
There was a person who we kept having to look for, she was so quiet and kept disappearing. Daaaaamn what was her name? Maya? Then I ran into her in New Orleans at Zulu Ball 😂
I heard the first 30 seconds and I could already tell I like you 😂. Don't let the small details steal your joy. I don't know how you showed up in my recommendations but I'm grateful to be introduced to your channel.
hold up, hold up, hold up. when did you slip slide into 100k subs?!? you, for real, deserve this. this is proof that great things happen everyday!😁❤❤❤❤❤😁
I just got back from Chicago a few weeks ago and y'all that place is so lit. I have been sleeping on Chicago for years I live a few states away and now I am obsessed
I stayed downtown in the family hostel cause it was super cheap. I took their trains or an Uber anywhere I wanted to go. It's a way easier city to navigate/walk than places like NY. I went to some comedy shows by Second City, visited all the museums (you can get free admission at the hostel), did the terrifying Skydeck walk, and explored their gorgeous parks and saw the famous bean. You can take boat rides for $8 bucks around the city because of the river and I would recommend checking out Navy Pier there are a crap ton of things to do out there. Whew, a lot but I am very passionate about Chicago now hahaha have fun :)
ibushra9513 so fun! I live here and I feel like I fall in love everyday! I live on the Southside, in Hyde Park- the place where the Obama house is. It's pretty cool to say I'm basically neighbors with him!
i traveled Thailand alone for 2 months. Im an introvert and it was great. just make sure u stay in hostels. because for those moments u do want company almost everyone in hostels are also traveling alone so u can easily connect if ud like and hostels are the cheapest :)
Greece this year for an island sailing trip they have an age cut off so this is the last year I can go it and it finishes the day before my 36th bday so I just made it!!!
You killed it! omg. I'm moving to Asia (China) in a few months, fingers crossed. This was one of the most entertaining vlogs I've seen on travelling Asia. From your Zimbabwean Internet cousin
My daughter was in the next room and heard little einsteins and that was a wrap. I had to go turn on Netflix for her so I could watch the rest of the video 😂😂😂

How I survived a 16-hr flight from Singapore during which I could not sleep at all (and all drugs are punishable by death in Singapore so I wasn't risking being sleeping meds):: a season of Korean dramas and another season of Bones. Download multiple seasons of a tv show on Netflix or something. It makes the time pass much more easily. Also, accept there will be turbulence. Air has mass just like everything else. You can't die from turbulence. Once you accept that and have your shows, long flights are w/e.

Re the whole oddity in Asia thing.. I've lived in SEA for 30+ years and still get that anywhere off the tourist track. Never in Bangkok though. Did you have a chance to visit "Little Africa" while in Bangkok? It's a really vibrant area, blending right into the Middle Eastern district, and interspersed with normal Thai life. You can get a wide range of African cuisines there and smoke shisa, if you are so inclined. Also specialized tailors, shoemakers, travel agents, etc. And a cool vibe in the evenings. Re the whole oddity in Asia thing.. I've lived in SEA for 30+ years and still get that anywhere off the tourist track. Never in Bangkok though. Everyone from the entire face of the planet roams that city. It's like the NYC of Asia. Hope you get back sometime!
"...going on a trip on our favorite rocket ship"--great transitions! your video-making style comes off as genuine, keep that up.
Internet cousin you are so relatable! Thanks for another creative video. See you on the internet somewhere!!
Please come to the UK!!! You have a lot of Kenyan internet cousins here for sure !!!

CONGRATS EVELYN on 100K!!!, I remember you at 30K You have come so far. Thank you for being you! 💛
Thailand was fun ahah, i visited Chiangmai and Bangkok. Key takeaway: 1) street food were very fresh (I’m vegan now but was vegetarian than); the food was flavorful and cheap. 2) Lots of touristy stuff to do there, museums, parks, ride animals. 3) also got a Thai massage omg it was mad painful lol but worth it!
Can you do these for all the places you visit?!? lol I enjoy this so much!!!
Evelyn, you have to be one of the best storyteller ever, lol! And that question divider song is lit for a small turn up🤣
