    Scotland is a good place to live. It all depend on your skills and profession. If you are in IT for example there are alot of jobs for you in Scotland. You will even save better than someone in England with same pay grade.

    I find Nigerian women so attractive & approachable. I admire their natural looks & fantastic clothes sense & their Sense of Humour ! Any around Perth Scotland ? Where do they hang out in Perth ?

      I am sure there are Nigerian ladies in Perth who are single and searching. I would say Church if you are looking for a serious relationship as a lot of Nigerians tend to be religious.

    Never knew that settling in and finding a job , especially in education, can be that hard.
    What a lonely world over there. Scotland doesn't have an international airport haba! I never knew all these odds about living and thriving in Scotland.

      My sister it's unbelievably challenging to get into education here. If I tell the story of what I passed through during the teaching placements, you will wonder if it was worth all the troubles. There are international airports but they seem to only fly direct to European countries. It can be quite lonely for introverts because it takes us time to make friends. At the end of the day, if Nigeria were better, I would only visit other countries for the experience and not to live there but I am grateful for the opportunities in other countries despite the downsides.

      No. Just go to England where they are desperate for teachers. The Teachers in Scotland are leaving the profession because of lack of work.

      @@Oluwa.jomiloju Any information you need about travelling to the UK is on the UK government's website gov.uk. Generally, you can either get a student visa or a work permit. The requirements and how to go about applying for these visas are clearly written there. Please go to the website and get all the information you need. Do not depend on anyone promising you of any secret way to travel to the UK to avoid being duped.

      It's a serious issue. I later realised what they meant by not enough experience (most people interviewing for any reasonable job have 10+ years of experience 🙄)

    I'm planning on moving to Scotland with my family is it a good idea or do you think I should go there alone and then bring them over later?

    • @menvicstudio
      @menvicstudio  Рік тому

      I think it's always better to move first and get familiar with the place and secure an accommodation before moving the rest of the family.

      Unfortunately, I don't know anything about seeking asylum. I suggest you talk to an immigration lawyer before moving up to know your options.
