The Arctic Monkeys are absolutely one of the best bands to come out of the 2000's. You need to check out their song Arabella, you'd love it as well. Honestly they do not have a bad song.

I'm so STOKED you loved the Arctic Monkeys! They are in my humble opinion the best band of the 21st Century, or at least one of. This is a deeeeeeep rabbit hole. Arctic Monkeys are chameleons; their first album is Garage rock at it's finest, songs I'd suggest off that one are I Bet You Look Good On the Dancefloor, A Certain Romance or When the Sun Goes Down.
From their second album: Do Me a Favour or 505. From the 3rd album: Crying Lightening or Cornerstone. 4th: Piledriver Waltz or Love is a Laserquest. 5th: R U Mine?, Arabella or Fireside and 6th: Star Treatment, Batphone and The Ultracheese. That's just to start! lol. Awesome reaction Rob and Amber!

Best band in the last 15 years. Alex Turner is a brilliant lyricist like Lennon and McCartney, Robert Smith, Morrisey. Certain Romance still gets me. Mardi Bum is fun. Fluorescent Adolescent. Anything off Suck it and See, its my fave album. Snap out of it. 1 point perspective. The b sides from Humbug and Favourite Worst Nightmare show their talent and breadth of range. Can't wait to see what they release next.
Honestly they could react to every track on the first album. Pure class from start to finish.

"Been wondering if your hearts still open, and if so, I wanna know what time it shuts" is a line that always stands out to me. This is just such a fantastic song, the vibe just sucks you in and you're almost on the edge of your seat lol
Artic Monkeys are so 😎 cool. I love how the singer's accent just can't hide itself and his voice is so melodic, yet conversational. "Flourescent Adolescents" is another good one by them.
I'm glad you mentioned his accent. I was coming here to say that in addition to the best qualities of their sound, that Jay and Amber noticed, is their British sound. For last decade, whenever I hear a new band, it's almost always a British band... Almost all my favourite bands are British. That sound!

I see that you're impressed with Alex Turner's voice, you have to see him performing live. They are amazing musicians. Arctic Monkeys is a band of four members from Sheffield, UK and they are very versatile! You should check more of them. They are the inspiration of many new artists nowdays!!

Of course, if you really want, you can go back to their banger of a debut single, "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor". "Fluorescent Adolescent" is also tremendous.

505 is my favourite Arctic monkeys track.
I saw them in 2014 opening for the Black Keys and what a way to start a concert. I was there for the Keys, but I became a Monkeys fan that night. This song and album were just coming out, but my favorite song in concert was an earlier one, From the Ritz to the Rubble, what a rocker, the bass and drums are awesome. First concert was in 1973 the Eagles and Doobie Brothers, I keep on rocking and find new artists through the years to go along with my original heroes who are sadly slowly dying out, but how long they ran and a few still do...
I think they would like The Black Keys.

Alex Turner is a once in a generation musician. His lyrics and musicianship is on another planet. The north of England is where the best music hails from!
A good tune for you to check out, from same time period and genre, is “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked” by the group, Cage The Elephant. Give a listen 👍

"When The Sun Goes Down" has one of the greatest riffs ever made. That would be a fantastic one to react to. They have so so many great songs though! One of my all time fav bands.

i love that you are doing newer stuff too, this is from 2013. The arctic monkeys are amazing, and they sound amazing live. You can find different elements ans styles within their music if you explore their songs "i bet you look good on the dancefloor", "fluorescent adolescent", "when the sun comes down", "cornerstone" and "505". also, you should check alex turner's (the band singer) other band called the last shadow puppets, they are a band from this century but their music has a big 60s nostalgia, my favorite song is "standing next to me" but also "my mistakes were made for you" is very beautiful, with a line that sings "about as subtle as an earthquake i know, my mistakes were made for you"

Love it.
Florescent Adolescent and Mardy Bum are two song's which you absolutely have to react to. You'll notice that Alex Turner not only has a unique voice but also plays on his local dialect a lot in his lyrics. The band are from Sheffield in the north of England and Alex doesn't shy away from this in his lyrics and performances. And whilst Sheffield is a fairly big city, you'll be amazed how many great bands have come out of there including Pulp, Human League and ABC which are all also worth a reaction video!
Alex Turner is a great lyricist, very much like Elvis Costello his songs are so dense and "wordy". Elvis Costello has said no one does covers of his songs because there are too many words. When Alex Turner was in the English equivalent of High School his teachers were stunned by his poetry and knew he would do something with it.
I play this song at work a couple times each day.
You guys should experience their older stuff, like "When The Sun Goes Down", "From The Ritz To The Rubble", "Brianstorm", "D is For Dangerous" and "Flourescent Adolescent".
All are text-book Arctic Monkeys, so tight, able to stop and turn on a dime, such fantastic changeups and as Amber noted, really intelligent and slick lyrics. I eally think you'll be amazed at how tight this band is.

The lyrics are fairly deep and create a winding rhythm requiring perfect timing to bring order to the message. Great reaction.
Arctic Monkeys are my fav!! You should do RU Mine next. Knee Socks is my favorite and has backing vocals by Josh Homme, lead singer of Queens of the Stone Age. Which you should also check out their song No One Knows featuring Dave Grohl on the drums.
Their official video is AMAZING... (I'm not a big one for official videos, but their video is special).
The music video is a must on this one. Legendary.

This is a band that really has very different eras. Their first few albums are really high energy pop-punk stuff. Then they flipped the script and developed this really great, sludgy groove like this stuff and they're both so good. If you want to hear a very different sound from them, check out "I Bet That You Look Good On The Dance Floor".

There have always been songs I consider night songs, they just sound so good after dark, this is one of them. Sounds great in daylight but seems to have an extra dimension at night, driving and cranked up on stereo
So this song is what hooked me on Artic Monkeys!! The lyrics, the bass, the harmony, just everything!! My kids love this band also & we seem to love the same music no matter what genre! I’m so glad to see your reaction was like mine the first time I heard it!

My home town boys, I remember watching them in the mucky duck pub, way before they were anything to anyone, they were support for my friends band on a Wednesday night, knew right then they would do great things.
I'm undecided. I would have to hear more to make up my mind.

Saw them live at the O2 in London back in 2011. Such a great gig. Funny story, the busker outside of the venue post show was doing a great job covering some of their songs. Same busker was there a week later when I saw the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, doing impressive covers of them as well!
