😊 Hey guys! Tech Triumph channel was created to give a broad overview of upcoming new cars from the best car companies in the car industry.
An Electric Vehicle (EV) is the future. In a few years, an electric car will replace a gas car. And we want you to be ready for this.
We mainly cover new upcoming EVs, but as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we will also cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

🏆Which of these 6 new Ford models will be a failure?🤔
🔴11 Reasons You Should Wait For 2025 Ford Ranger WATCH HERE! 👉ua-cam.com/video/MDYuFO92woQ/v-deo.html
@@tech_triumph Can I guess all of the above , they 🚫 even trying to make an affordable vehicle
All
@@tech_triumph That’s a great question. I didn’t see any of these models on Ford’s Upcoming Vehicles webpage. So, I’m guessing that we’ll have to wait and see what actually happens.
All will be failures. Nobody wants electric vehicles. Recent Supreme Court, Chevron decision neutered the EPA. Café standards are out the window. People want four-cylinder motors in small trucks or six cylinder motors in small trucks without a hybrid system or a turbo. I think the Toyota Stout will have a straight four-cylinder non-hybrid non-turbo option, normal aspiration rocks.
@@tech_triumph depends on if they actually build them, for one, for two, dealer greed must be curbed, and the last thing, they should have better build quality than a Chinese ev.
You'll never find the $20k model.
Yea you will....for $40k
I mean, if it's made out of aluminum foil, maybe.🤔
These sort of things were typically shipped in volumes of 1 or 2 at a dealer, so they could run the big Thursday or Sunday newspaper ad offering 19995.00 truck. (Once the 9995.00 truck). When you arrive you find out their was only one on the lot, you can't order it, and it was completely base stock that even had substandard framing.
The ones we have here are 39995.
Then pathetic dealers will add market adjustments of 20% or more at launch.
20k before dealer add ons……
Ford needs to work on their reliability and durability not new models.
@@matthewhuszarik4173 That’s a good point. Although, my present Explorer has 240,000 miles on it and it’s still doing the job. I don’t do any towing or other “heavy jobs” with it.
I’ve had no problems the first 12 months with my Bronco!
@@2Greenlid Pretty much all manufacturers have reduced the short term issues with their vehicles. For me I don’t even care about short term issue because they are covered under warranty. For me reliability and durability from five to twenty years is what is most important.
Yes every manufacturer needs to work on their long term reliability! @@matthewhuszarik4173
You ain’t wrong.
Anybody here old enough to remember when the Ford ranger was a full size and the maverick was a car?
Yep. We had 71 grabber green Maverick when I was just a kid. I learned to drive manual transmition with the that Maverick. We didn't have the full size Ranger F-150 from the 70's, However we did have a two toned (orange/white) 71 f-250. I want to say that truck had the explorer badge on it. Thanks for that, it's always good remember how good things were when you were young. =)
The Ranger as a stand alone model was never a fullsize truck. It was a trim package. Wood grain inserts, full front to back carpet, and captains seats and center console up front.
My buddy had late 70s Ford Ranger F100 with a factory big block v8, then in the 80s the Ranger got small.
@@larrysantacrose8889 Your buddy had a F100 Ranger. Not a Ranger F100. Ranger was a trim package back then. My dad has a '79 Bronco Ranger XLT. The RANGER pickup came out as an answer to things like the early Toyota, Nissan, and GM small class pickups. Ford worked in conjunction with Mazda to use their B series as a base for them.
Ranger, full-sized with an inline 6 and a manual transmission. We had a Comet(Mercury cousin of the Maverick) with a 3 speed manual that would pack us up and pull our pop-up Coleman trailer.
Wasn't the Maverick supposed to be $20 k ?
It’s going to be really difficult to make a $20k vehicle considering material costs and the ever increasing federal mandated safety features (i.e. just the airbag system alone has to be $1k manufacturer cost) like lane departure, auto braking, camera system, etc.
I was when introduced
@@michaelmartin2276 it was supposed to be a $20k starting point but they found that the had to charge extra for the motor and wheels. So $30 k
So essentially nothing I’m interested in. Thanks Ford.
Think I will just stick with my 1991 mustang Lx 5.0
I agree
The Maverick is a success because it’s fairly basic transportation for a decent price. So Fords answer is to make it more powerful and more expensive…. Good job ford
Yep. Everyone wants the hybrid version except Ford won’t make enough.
@@99somerville No NOT EVERYONE wants a Hybrid🤮
It's like they're dedicated to failure.
@@FranBushardt I sure dont.
Come now, they are not doing away with the more basic models. I think they have found out what a large market for the less expensive models exists and I think this is an effort to improve and expand their brand. If they don’t go batty with the prices, that new Ranchero is pretty sweet.
I’ll bet none of these come in at the stated 20k.
Bring back reliability!!
5 of those 6 "new models" have already been cancelled due to sales of EVs tanking. Other automakers will follow suit or lose billions.
For the love of God, ditch the shaky cam effect in these videos. Makes it very difficult to watch
Its dumb
It is a gushing PR puff piece.
Nice to look at the models, but everything said is likely guilded meadow muffin
3:19 The previous Ford Taurus' also used a front wheel drive layout.
Not sure why he stated that. The new version will be FWD or AWD just like the old one.
Everyone is wow till they see the prices and then they are like na im good lol.
It's about time. Hey if you want a E.V. that's cool just don't tell me I got to buy a E.V. 😊
Gotta save the polar bears in miami Fla.
Yes and the ford maverick was a reasonable 23k, look how thats turned out
Those prices were before the added extra features
$40 Grand now😳---😤😤😤😤😤😤
@@michaelcschmitt those prices were due to price gouging bastards sir. I have never seen a new naverick for less than 28k and the overwhelming majority of them are 33- 38k, and that was a year ago
@@tommcguire6472 darn right your spot on. I hope they choke on the cars that are sitting there on their lots. They signed people up for 10 year loans in some cases and put a mill stone on young folks that weren’t smart enough to not fall for their high pressure tactics. They in effect screwed a lot of people.
I was looking at the Maverick here in Canada and could not find one for less than $40000.00
I love how he said a sedan is not that sought after over an SUV. I beg the different. The car companies have force people to buy SUVs because they don’t make cars anymore, Ford themselves makes a Mustang that’s it for a car. Everything else is a truck or an SUV as well so you can say that a sedan is not that well sought after if they’re not making them. I would much rather have a four-door sedan with a decent engine at a decent price then to pay for an outrageous price SUV.
Why do you think Ford stopped making them? They weren't selling enough of them.
You seem to have the cause and effect reversed...
@@Tigger81762 Ummm…🤔 it’s just the US manufacturers that have been the ones to do this. Honda, Toyota and Subaru all offer sedans, coupes and wagons. It’s just the knuckleheads who run the U S companies that have no clue. I think the market is saturated with SUV’s and the market is swinging back to cars and smaller trucks, which, if f course they no longer have.
Glad to see the Taurus coming back. I've owned one from every generation except for the hideous one from the late 90's. Kind of wish it was still a full-size but mid-size will be fine too.
It ain't coming back in the U.S. Don't kid yourself.
Farley’s Total Recalls
Farley = Fail
Farley = joke
At least they’re developing new models, unlike Stellantis.
we have a Maverick, and it’s great. I grew up driving my dad’s Ranchero GT. It was a sexy beast!
Don't forget about the 10-20K dealer add on's and mark up.
A 3 cylinder truck ? thanks EPA...
I went from a 310 Hp Mustang to a 3 cyl Escape and I am Humongously Impressed with the 3 Banger!!
@@FranBushardt But it's not a truck doing truck things...
They talk about thousands of old models with recalls and now new models with expected recalls😂😂😂😂😂
Deliberate defects.
cool, will they make them reliable?
🤔
They continue to not recognize, mes amis, that ALL EV'S, vehicles of a Fool's Paradise, are but a fanciful dream...a Wet Dream.
2/3rds of these will only be available overseas.
the ranchero? interesting. I wonder if this shot across the bow will wake up Chevrolet to bring back the El Camino?
Probably
GM always shadows Ford
Considering what GM did to the Blazer, I hope not.
@@01bigstick mmm hmm. good point
Capri EV has launched in Europe where designed and built, its £42000 plus so you’ve no chance of $20,000 for it. Also not planned for US. It is mainly the Explorer EV restyled.
@@garydavis1528 Eewwww!
Disappointing
You're being nice.
Boy , they really missed the mark with that poor excuse for a RANCHERO .
@@philliplopez8745 👍I’ll believe it IF it happens.
I liked it 😊
@@philliplopez8745 that was the only one I liked. Especially the 2 door. I am SO tired of all these 4 door trucks, which btw are usually only carrying one person, that I could scream! What a waste of… everything
I’m on board with the Everest. Wished would come to US shores ever since ford brought the over seas ranger back.
Make the powerboost and 5.0 available in the expedition
I cant find any details on the Everest coming to USA. Ive been looking for a couple of years now.
So what are they selling that's NOT a pickup/suv???
@@jimnden the Mustang ?
where was any of this announced?
Everest has my interest piqued
90's vehicles for life
Ford should work on quality control and get what they are already selling right before they add anything else.
@@PossiblyRob I agree with you on that, but they should build what sells as opposed to what they want to sell to us.
Just name them Edsel 1,2,3,4,5,6.
Hey Ford, bring back the God damn Taurus and the Fusion. You're welcome 😊
As a Fusion owner I agree. My car has been great to me, but I give it another 4-5 years before she's done for with how much I drive. I'd like to stick with Ford and buy a new car.
I drove an Everest in NSW Australia. It was very nice.
We want V6 with 4 door (crew cab)... And not a tiny crew cab, but for adults.... and an option for either a short bed or a long bed... But keeping it small like those Maverick just add a few inches of legroom for Backseat passengers
@@TwitchRadio No WE don’t! We want a regular or king cab short box. I need a 4 door truck like the roadrunner needs cab fare. I don’t know what the 4 door fetish is with you lot, but a lot of people don’t want a looong ass truck to work with.
The Ranchero looks promising. I've always liked the look of the Maverick. Love the upgrades. The Taurus looks good too. Finally something that is not an SUV!!!
Bring back the Edge!
So they are actually planning to make the Ranchero a single cab?
Until Ford fixes its engine issues, I won't even consider a Ford. Planned obsolescence just ain't worth it. I'd rather keep fixing my old vehicles than have $1000+/month payments.
The 2.5 N/A is a very good engine. Just stay away from the turbo's.
Engines? It's the whole car!
Got a 2016 150 lariat with 130,000 miles on it with no issues. It might lay down on me the next time I drive it, but as of now I'm extremely satisfied with it.
@donaldsink8115 The Ford engines and transmissions have been particularly problematic the last 5-10 years, depending on the application. The 1.0 and 1.3 L's have been AWFUL. Ford is not unique in that regard. I've had multiple Fords with zero issues, but they were late-80s and 90s versions. Before turbos everywhere. And designs that are calibrated to last just past the warranty period.
@@asajayunknown6290 Mine is the 5.0 It had a little over 2000 miles on it when I bought it. I was looking for an Eco boost at the time. Glad now I got this engine. I pull a ten foot trailer a couple of times a week and depending on what I'm hauling as to where I use towing on it. Very rarely do I hot rod the truck and I think that has a lot of why I haven't had trouble.
I have an Everest which is the second one i have owned in New Zealand. They are great trucks proving to be popular and also very reliable.
I always wondered why they never made it in the USA.
Because we have the Explorer. So the Everest would be directly competing against the Explorer since they are both in the same segment.
Ford used to sell the explorer, the expedition, and the excursion at the same time.
I hope you are right about the price tag on at least one of these, because all fords start at 30+ grand out the door.
I suspect that these cars aren’t going to be in the “affordable” price range and severely miss the mark. People want affordable, reliable vehicles that are not easy to steal, sufficiently powerful enough to merge with traffic, don’t reflect high maintenance or repair bills, and don’t take six months or more after placing the order to receive the vehicle. Now if they started at $15k and would run a couple hundred thousand miles with simple maintenance, would be a game changer.
So is the explorer gone cuz I see the same vehicle in the Everest
Funny that thus information is on here but as a Ford senior master tech of over 20 years and a current employee of FOMOCO there hasn't been any mention of new vehicles to dealers let alone training or sales information. New models typically come out early with plenty of factory support.
@@christianrodgers6046 probably an internet goof using models that we don’t get
I've never heard the earcorn "quote on quote" before
My Ford van has a laundry list of stupid crap gone wrong, like air distribution stuck on defrost, to rust issues but the last straw was a spark plug blowing out of the motor, $1300 later and they created a transmission leak in the process. I am done with Ford
Don't hold your breath on any new car being $20,000 😮😮
No thanks to all of these.
@@michaelcschmitt The new Ranchero looked pretty good. Now make it with an I/C power plant and then we’ll talk
@@markvincent5992 ya it was the lack of a gas engine for sure.
Hoping Ford can survive, it is a great American icon.
I waa hoping for coyote powered maverick when I heard lightning. But I guess lightning these days just means sportyish
Next will be the matchbox or Hot Wheel type truck.
I was going to buy a 2024 Maverick but I think I will wait until the 2025 models come out.
I hope they're doing hybrids and better gas mileage.
Love the Taurus
Nice🇸🇦
IF the Everest hits the American market, where does that leave the Explorer?
Everest is the explorer we should have got. Explorer started as a ranger based suv and should have stayed that way.
@@mikehagen2498 Yes. I remember that one very well. I liked it. It replaced the 80s Bronco II. I didn’t see the Everest or any of the other vehicles in FORD’S Upcoming Vehicles on their website. So, I guess we’ll have to wait and see what actually happens.
Toyota sells the Hylander and the 4Runner. Pretty sure they are doing well.
I missed the Taurus. It's been so many years.
I’m sure these are gonna sell, look how well things are going now
@@150rhamm if they were building the models people want instead of the overpriced, overweight, oversized trucks they might have something there
Everest could be nice, but will it replace the Edge or Explorer? No need for all 3.
The Maverick was a car not a truck.
It’s still a car dressed as a truck.
It starts at the dealerships. These suggested msrp means nothing to greedy general managers.
Unforgettable cars will push us back to horses
@@nynomadfjc3907 not on your life! With the horse you have two entities, deciding what to do. If they differ, then you have a problem, generally resulting in a fall or worse. With a car or motorcycle you are the only one making decisions, a most satisfactory arrangement. At least if you mess up, you have no one else to blame lol.
Maverick should have been a car, then the Ranchero like it was IMO.
Ford should 1:53 bring back the 300 straight 6 if they want to sell some trucks
Can you imagine how many vehicles manufactures could sell at reasonable prices in the $20,000 low end to $40,000 high end range and if dealers did not put their bogus ADM price increases on them, the volume a manufacture would do would make all the other manufactures who failed to follow suit loose a ton of sales.
Maybe sell direct to the customer and screw those f#$dealers.😊
Is this going to be for the AMERICAN market?
They will make 7 of the 20k model. Theres a bunch of raptors at my local dealership for $107k. Theyll make a bunch more of those.
I’ll keep driving my 2000 f250 7.3
Here it comes again, that feeling here it comes again. To znowu przychodzi, to uczucie, to znowu przychodzi
I find it funny, I own a 2023 limited f150 and a lariat Maverick and when I choose what to drive I pick the Maverick 9 out of 10 times.
@@cascade7606 well the truck is larger, thirstier, harder to park and gets crappy mileage.., so smart move,
All come with recliner to wait for tow truck to pick you up . Or their exclusive walking shoes
That Taurus looks very much like a Hyundai Elantra. So much for “new designs”.
I wish you would quit teasing me about a Ford Rancho coming. =) I would love to see a Ranchero, but the only one I've seen mentioning anything about a Ranchero is this channel and those concept art galleries. Out of the list of new vehicles there are two more other than the Ranchero that catches my eye. I really like that Capri and the Everest. Those are some good-looking vehicles and I hope Ford can get those models in the US
Bring back wagons!! Better fuel efficiency, lower price point.
So the new maverick is an international road queen?
The Everest is what the Explorer should have been years ago. I''ll be thrilled to see it, but my days of driving a 3 row are over.
Hey, Ford? How about a cheap body-on-frame truck? Like the old Ranger.
Need to bring back a $15k Escort
Finally, a “new” sedan offering …
Everest replacing the Explorer ?
Yea right to low prices! Dream on
Need to make a strip down small truck, with 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission.
CROWN VIC should have never killed it off.
Bring the Ford Evos to US
Make mini trucks great again!
ceo ford where is the 5k pickup ? gm i ask the same. they both said we'd get a 5k pu.
Ford should make a Taurus SHO with a 450 HP 510 Ft Lbs 3.5L Ecoboost.
@@davidperry4013 better spec awd with that 500 ponies
how is he still in charge?
Because Bill Ford is a liberal who pushes the woke nonsense.
The entire idea of a " cowboy coupe " is that it be based on a CAR !
The Ranchero and Everest look like Ram and Durango copies
Does ford even do focus groups to find out what people want, or do they just make shit up as they go?
@@R006WRX I think we both know the answer to that question, don’t we my friend?

They might as well forget the electric vehicles until the charging technology is more advanced. I don't wanna wait 30 minutes to an hour to charge my car
@@jimmycash1982 I’m tired of making the Chinese richer
Too many companies overusing hybrid and 4 cylinders. I understand it's great on gas mileage but for some of these vehicles (not talking about Ford specifically) it's too much for little 4 cylinders. Just my opinion
