Hate to admit but i think i was more like Paris when I was school. Shoot, didn't know i was that crazy about studying and drove everyone nuts. I enjoyed it, but feel sorry for my classmates now 😄
Paris's idea is actually really terrible for a start-up. It would require a huge capital investment to get the inventory in all the different skus that you would need.
@calahoon22 You know that's a good point. I'd actually forgotten about that point. However even with a million dollars I still don't think it's a good idea. You're looking at huge production costs for all the different styles and then you might be stuck with a certain style no one wants. A million won't go very far with the kind of inventory she was talking about. It's a good idea in theory but not in reality. Makes sense coming from a teenager with no business experience though.
@@loveGG3 Maybe not today but this was ~20 years ago so a million would stretch a lot further. Richard does say in this episode that they're cheap to make. Maybe this was the case in that time but I'd have to take him at his word for that

Louise's idea is pretty much a reality now, we tag a lot of our stuff and push a button to sound the alarm to locate it or find it through GPS.

Terrible for an independent startup with little capital but they had an imaginary $1million budget so ideal for that kind of capital
