Did u see him smile??? As if he wanted to say thanks ur disqualified I got a chance now
It's impossible to explain the emotions i felt that day... my dog ran away because of my screamings and my neighbours thought i'm crazy, but mamma mia, Marcel, you nailed it! Never forget that magic moment!
Incredible running form from Jacobs, perfectly relaxed and rhythmic
14:19 Here I am, happy and proud watching this again and again from Italy 🇮🇹🥇
What a day. What a year.
Fun fact:
Now Italy holds the European records for both the 100 and 200 meters.
Jacobs 9.80s
Mennea 19.72s

@@friendsforever5012 are you racist?
@@friendsforever5012 exactly so Italians don't see you as an Italian if you are not pure Italian. But when it comes to the world cup & Olympics they selec black people to represent them. because an italian with Italian body is never gonna win a race
Jacobs protagonist of an immense race. Fantastic!
Loved that Tamberi ran over to celebrate with him.
Italys technique was so superb. You most give it all from every limb of your physique and he did just that with correct form.
This truly was an amazing race ... and completely open...Marcel Jacobs deserved his win. The Chinese are rightly proud of Mr Su...2 African countries ie Nigeria and South Africa made it too ...
It’s a shame the Chinese sprinter didn’t get the start he did in the semi-final. He could have been in the medals.
@@nameisamine he could have been second
Before the commence of the Olympics, Su said his aim was to enter the final. He used up all his energy in the semi and made his pb. He was 31 and short. He said he couldn't full splint for two games in one day. If he didn't bet his everything in the semi, he couldn't make the final. Huge respect to him from the Asian community.
Now think about this for a second , what a brilliant tactics applied by Italian🇮🇹 and Brit🇬🇧 sprinter in the lane next to him.
Brit knew he stands no chance of podium so he told Italian sprinter in advance that he will False start ( you can see how intentional that false start was) , to drain other sprinters Energy.
Everyone except the Italian ran when false start happened another hint
and last hint is see how Italian sprinter gives a smile in background when everyone ran after the false start except him 😅.
It was a brilliant tactics that worked !!
everything lined up for the Italian win 🇮🇹
** Not taking anything away from Italian 🇮🇹 Sprinter Jacobs, it was his skill in the end that got him OLYMPIC GOLD 🥇** just highlighting an observation based on facts
Not only 5 golds in athletics, Italy also won mens' 20km racewalk gold. They are preparing their runners on a different level

It was a Olympics of underdogs.
One of the best Olympics..
Thank you Japan 🇯🇵
I didn't think Lamont was gonna win but I love it when an athlete wows the crowd congratulations to Italy
Congratulations 🇮🇹's Jacobs and the rest of the finalists. I'm very proud of 🇨🇦 's De Grasse who ended up taking gold🏅 in the 200 M.
Wow that Asain guy shout out to you sir! Sometimes its beyond winning its breaking barriers, you are inspiring future little Asains kids watching to know it is possible to be a sprinter or anything they desire❤ same for Omanyala. Congrats Jacobs you should be very proud. Love from the Island 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Well done to Marcell Jacobs. His running style is unique, the way he stamps his feet!! He doesnt raise his knees very high and looks kinda stiff! He got the gold though!
