Watching these old videos back after season 3. Was hoping to see more stuff like this. Nice to watch them again.
I call bs on that. There are so many world building scenes when Magne is not even around (snake feeding, Laurits discovering him self to be Loki at the Mirror). Worst finale ever created in history

Same, I was so disappointed in the third series and how it ended
I came back after season 3. Here are some points.
-Vidar died very early. As the main antagonist, he had to survive.
-There should have been more than just 3-4 giants so that the danger in the middle would be greater. How logical is it that only 3 giants will lead the whole world to doomsday? At least Vidar had some relatives or something. We could call it a giant clan.
-Use of music. The music was really good in the first two seasons. There was no impressive music in the season 3.
-Characters were wasted. For example, Laurits, Loki. He should have been the most dangerous enemy in Ragnarok, but in the series he was nothing more than a simple clown. After the first two seasons he should have strengthened. He should equaled Vidar, turning away from the gods.
All the progress of Odin and the other gods was also wasted.
-There was no mystery. The mysterious atmosphere felt in the first seasons disappeared in the third season. Look at this scene, Vidar speaking in ancient language. After Vidar and Magne fall, the mark on the ground is Yggdrasill. We then see two of Odin's ravens wandering around, Hugin and Munin. Memory and thought. Really great. There were no such beauties in the last season.
-Mjolnir showed the effect of the Ring in The Lord of the Rings. What does that have to do with anything? Magne started making meaningless movements, then changed, etc. And at the end, it turned out that everything was in his head. This already ruined the whole series.
Could not agree more. It's like the writers had no plan for what would happen after Vidar died. I think honestly maybe they thought the show would have gotten canceled or something. The whole "three giants will kill the world" I never bought. I was like... okay... but like... how? like sure we might not be able to kill them but we could for sure lock them up forever.
I think there were many main antagonists at one point or another. It kind of balanced itself out
The end battle I do believe but I refuse to belief the entire series was in his head. The rest I totally agree on. Mjölnir was said to be the strongest weapon on earth in the show but we never really got to see that. Speaking of which Saxa said she tried to move it in the final episode of season 2 but couldn't and all the sudden everyone can lift it in the final season?? Jorgy should have been permanently pinned to the bottom of the sea
Ragnarök already happened and could not happen twice. So I see this end like that : Gods and Giants should have to decide a cease-fire in order to avoid the final destructionof their kins. New life, new rules ! The key is knowing how to respect and enforce the terms of the contract and how to trick the others !
In Norse mythology, Gods and Giants were neither all good nor all bad.
We are not in a american story.
Is season 3 even worth watching? Or should I remain blissfully ignorant with the first two I've already seen
