Man’s having schizophrenic episode during graduation ceremony
glad i saw this before watching season 3. Saved a few hours of my life
2:42 when I saw that hit I said woah 😳 😮
It was all good until episode 5.
It's still worth watching.
as arunk said, still worth watching, just drop the show after episode 5
You right that was so bad as fck
Ok so this is my theory/head canon, the whole fight that magne thought he imagined was real so the dude who was chosen as baldur does get hit by the arrow causing laurits to summon jormungandr and the gods attack the giants and after they all die they go to Valhalla where magne believes it was all in his head but the battle indeed happened
why did the jutul house cvhange after magne threw away the comics? shows that it was all in his head but still a ass ending
@@adriandonohue3049 my theory is that when he threw away the comics he was in Valhalla after the battle of ragnorok so it made the house seem more like a peaceful place than a death trap
@@gabrielacosta9470thank you, you just fixed my headcanon
@@adriandonohue3049no. It didn't show it was in his head. I think he realized the power was unnecessary and they made piece. That was the symbolism of his dropping to his knees.
I know it's not the real ending but my head canon is that Magne did indeed imagine the battle because he still has to fight for those who died by the Jutuls hand and thirst for power like Isolde. He imagens it all as a way to give himself closure and end his need to gfight for the people since the Jutuls have agreed to stop, be better, treat humans with respect and colaborate.
As he imagines it, he realises what Ragnarok really is, a cycle of death and destruction, and realises that everyone he loves would be dead and not even him would survive.
When he throws away all his stuff, he is leaving his fighting life behind and disposing of anything that could make him go to that life again and want justice on the Jutuls. So he throws away all his stuff in the garbage and looks back at Jutulheim and we see it's defferent because it means Magne stopped velifying the Jutuls and accepted that they changed and became better.
Either way, even if I acknowledge the true ending (wich is a type of ending I usually dislike where "it was all a dream" or "it was all in his head") I do still enjoyed it. Maybe it's the way they did it. Maybe it's Magne's and his family acting and scenes explaining that he is just a kid with some mental issues trying to deal with life after a great loss of his father and the way he found a way was through his stories and his friends. I truly don't know. I just wish people in couple of year went back to rewatch it and judget it based on what it is and not based on what they expected it to be, because of course everyone involved would have loved to do a great spectacle for the end of the world and the battle of all battles but in the end the storytelling was conditioned by budget and time.
That scene with that instrumental is phenomenal🔥, I just wish the whole episode was like that 🥴
I wish I could find this music
Show got the Game of Thrones treatment. Even felt like the cast didnt even care for it, Season 2 they were all heavily promoting the show and doing Q&As and everything, I didnt even know Season 3 had even dropped.
Vidar definitely should have been alive longer than one season, when he died the Jutuls had no sense of direction and even with them trying to change Fjor into this villain it didnt work because Herman plays him so well and we saw that he has a heart that I was hoping that he and Magne would be friends and team up against his father and Saxa. The additions of the other gods was great at first and then completely wasted because there was no “world at risk” type doom that needed so many additions because why did Magne need all that help against 3 giants?
Wasted show 😭
This ending was worse than GoT s8 ending, but the show was infact great up until episode 5 of s3
Vidar was alive till mid(ish) season 2. But I agree, I think Vidar was definetly the most threatening villain and that he should have been in the last season. I also agree when you say taht all the gods were added and the "world at risk" plot was definetly weaker. What I think they should have done is introduce some some more adult characters in the universe and maybe have one trying to help Magne so then they could make a betrayal and help the Jutuls and a character wich would be present with some hint that it was a giant but only revealed later as well. This way when new gods were added and they thought they had the upper hand we would have a plot twist to balance it again.
Anyway, I think they wanted to make Jormungundr a major villain and threat but I guess they were restricted by budget and it's also why I think they went with the "it was all in his head" plot because they probably wanted to deliver a worthy battle. After all this is the battle of all battles and carries a lot of expectations.
The show will always have a place in my heart and eventhought it's not my type of ending, I hope a few years from now people go back to rewatch it and judge it based on what it is and not based on what they expected it to be, because i'm sure everyone involved would have loved to do a great spectacle for the end of the world and the battle of all battles but in the end the storytelling was conditioned by budget and time.
2:24 does Fjor realize he could’ve thrown the 🪓.😂😂😂😂But instead he’s like “let me do a slow motion villain run 😂😂😂😂
Very dissapointed. Ending ruined the 3 seasons for me.
This way no one needed to be killed off bro happy ending no end of the world
@@adriansanchez5657I think he means the fact that it’s implied the whole series was in his head.
@@adriansanchez5657Then it shouldn’t have been called Ragnarok and this entire series was pointless.
The series had so much potential, I feel like the writers couldn't and didn't want to do something good for fans of Norse mythology, so they just put in this ending just to end it.
Everything is build for nothing
Wierd ending but still a great show to watch over and over again
this ending was awesome...
So everything we've seen so far turned out to be a lie?
Not all of it, just the Ragnarök part, which was only in Magne's head.
@@enelsubs1268oh okay bro Thank you
ohh i thought everything was a lie like in his head
@@TheKing2927-cm9hu maybe it was
@@thekingplay_0682 ;)
hehe they used the sound from the Marvel Thor's re call hammer sound 2:47
Oh you caught that.
There was another scene where they used a sound effect from something else as well. I can't remember but if I find it I'll put it here.
As someone who had never heard of this show, this scene comes across as quite confusing. So I look at the comments and I see that even the fans find this confusing and disappointing. I think I'll skip this show.
The first 2 seasons are actually nice just don't watch the 3rd one
Woke garbage mostly
I can't understand all of the complaints. Since you're so good, why don't you write a show yourself?
I liked it a lot. What was the best seasons? Probably the second. Is the show good? For a teenage drama, yes. Does it makes you think about environment and our future which is basically shit? It does. Does the show reflects the inner battles of a shy, new to town boy and how he faced it? Absolutely and that's why the ending is amazing. When he turned to his girl with his shoulder down, it was the climax. Literally the teenager on the grasp of falling into the abyss of his fantasies or going into the normality of the world.
I can totally relate to this.
I also really like it and I usually hate the "it was all a dream" or "it was all in his head" type of endings. Maybe it's the way they did it. Maybe it's Magne's and his family acting and scenes explaining that he is just a kid with some mental issues trying to deal with life after a great loss of his father and the way he found a way was through his stories and his friends.
But I also understand complaints. Ragnarok carries a lot of expectations because after all it's the battle of all battles, the end of the world, a spectacle of death and destruction, but I also belive they were very conditioned. I think they went with that "it was all in his head" plot because in the end if Ragnarok did in fact happen they would have to deliver a bigger spectacle then they did with the battle for people to be satisfied (and I still think they made a great work) and all the characters would be dead so it would still be bad.
The show will always have a place in my heart and eventhought it's not my favourite type of ending, I hope a few years from now people go back to rewatch it and judge it based on what it is and not based on what they expected it to be, because i'm sure everyone involved would have loved to do a great spectacle for the end of the world and the battle of all battles but in the end the storytelling was conditioned by budget and time.
Gosh! I felt like I was watching Breaking Dawn pt2 all over again, that same feeling of being deceived. SO disappointing!
I really liked this serie and it's so sad how it ended :(
The gods and giants blue and orange, while I’m wondering what I am staring at the red eye in my wrist the demon staring at me sleeping inside me

Just watched episode 1 yesterday and wanted to see if it was worth watching the rest. Yea I’ll pass.
Its worth until s3
Hans, gibbe me more ze slowmo Hans, schneller
Wait? What the heck? Smh. Although, I am still watching.
This series makes me mad finding out the truth
Where is the snake
This video cut that out honestly the whole season was a bit of a disappointment
@@PrimeRick470 You are an idiot there is no snake all was just in Magnes head
How did the writers came up with the idea, that a short battle in the mind of the protagonist is better than a real longer battle which 2 seasons led up to. The Norse mythology integrated in modern day was heart and center of that show and they just decided to ripp it out. Hugh wasted potential and a show not worth watching in retrospect…. As a big fan of norse/germanic mythology and history I’m disappointed.
Wtf did i just watch
I actually thought it would’ve been a battle not just some lie in his head
The worst ending for this series.
@@caramelkop988I lost an entire night of sleep for this!?

it was all in his head all along…

@@xxxtentacion2301 No, it's not okay, it's fucking dumb...
Such a shame, another great show ruined by a bullshit twist ending.
BIG TWIST: Nothing was real, it was all in his head...the death of a close friend caused him to have a complete mental breakdown. Even though he was showcasing powers before her death. As well as a dosen other plotholes this stupid ending opens up.
If you're an upcoming writer let me give you some advice-DON'T DO THIS. It's not an interesting plot point, it's a great way to ruin your entire story and piss off all your fans.
The only guy who gets away with it is M. Night, and he only barely pulls it off now because we viewers are sick of unsatisfying twist endings that ruin the whole story!
THROW AWAY THE WHOLE SERIES.
I was so excited about it. Season 3 is horrible. The actors are so good, but the writing…🤦🏼♀️ The whole hammer thing and Magne changing his character. So stupid. I’m on episode 4 and I seriously hope he dies, because he’s being an ass. There’s nothing heroic about this Thor…
Heard this series finale was trash good thing I didn’t bother watching the show in general
What a waste of a great fuckinag show
Pathetic season ever
Worst ending ever, even worse than Lost.
The most disappointing thing? M83 Outro didn’t play like it did in the last two season finales when he had his final moment🥲
What a shit season 3!!
