Hi there, the shoulder straps aren't detachable at the end, so they cannot be stowed into the vertical luggage handle pass through. If you're looking for this feature, we recommend checking out the Techonaut!
Looks like Aeronaut 30 Large Packing Cubes to us. For a full list of recommended packing cube sizes and other stuff, see: blog.tombihn.com/synik-faq#cubeme
Which camera cube do you plan to use? Or, roughly, what are its dimensions? Our guess is yes, but we'd need to know a few more details just to be sure.
@@Badzazz It's difficult to say for sure w/out having the cube ourselves, but based on those dimensions, yes, it should fit just fine in the Synik 30. Hope this helps and don't hesitate to ask further questions!
All of our fabrics are treated to be waterproof. Because our bags are sewn as opposed to heat sealed or RF welded, the bags themselves aren't 100% waterproof (like a bag you'd use kayaking) but are very water-resistant because of the coatings on the fabrics and our use of YKK Aquaguard zippers.
I wish there was a non-laptop version of this, not everyone travels with a laptop and even if I don't utilize the space there's still a side access zipper which now serves no purpose. This modification as a Synik30 sub-model, or an updated clamshell opening Synapse30 model would be great news to those of us that appreciate the looks of the Synik/Synapse lines, but have no need for tablets/laptops and are quite okay with having just a phone on trips.
Yes! This looks like the perfect backpack
Glad you like it!
I've been saving up for a Synapse but now that this is coming out I'm going to pre-order the Synik 30. This bag has almost everything I'm looking for!
We're glad!
Still sad I didn't discover this company in time to get in the Guides Edition Synik 30.
Any reason why the shoulder straps cannot be stowed in the vertical luggage handle pass through?

Which material is waterproof?

Padded bottom!!!
Yes. Note that it's mostly there to protect the main compartment zipper, but of course it also helps protect stuff inside the bag too.
Which material is it from the 3 choices?
That's the 525d ballistic in Black :)
