Palm Street and Blossm are my fave to buy plants online. I can't choose just 1. They both have amazing deals, trustworthy sellers and resolve any issues that may occur with any purchase.
I get all these for much cheaper because I live in the Netherlands with tissue culture galore. Garden centres usually have 'baby' plant section. I've found florida white ghost, white wizard gloriosum, philodendron orange, jose buono, melo, silver dragon and frydek there. most under 4 usd. It takeslonger to grow though since most of them are so small.
My favorite places to buy plants online is the following;NSE tropical's, Steve's leaves, pretty in green and Gabriella's. Always get the best quality and every one of them guarantees their products. Sometimes it is what is beautiful that carries us..... Sincerely, Normand from Hawaii
I bought a spiritus sancti on FB marketplace that ended up being a Jose bueno. Done with that. Scammed out of $72 (Just got my replacement from pretty in green)
I’ve actually found good luck on Etsy lately. If I have a great experience I favorite the seller and give them another shot if I’m in the market to purchase ❤
I just found a 15 dollar variegated anthurium no ID.. I think it’s a hookeri! 12 dollar shipping! From plantproper! Super white recent leaf.. so def a rehab situation! But what a steal!
Thank you for the great videos! Really enjoy your content. My favourite place to buy plants is my local nursery. But lately I've also been getting into plant fairs and really enjoyed the experience!
I just got a pink princess, white knight, and white wizard for 12.99 ea (4 in) at Home Depot Hyde Park. Home Depot and Lowes in Los Angeles will carry MOST of the popular plants (eventually). If I just can't wait, I found ETSY/Mercari to be the next cheapest places I like to get plants. I just need to do more work to filter out all the scams.
My favorite place to buy plants is a local family run greenhouse, Young's Greenhouse and Florist! They have a huge variety and a great deal of plant knowledge!
I buy off local Facebook plant pages. I also purchase from Famous in Oregon live sales. Definitely need to check out your website, I enjoy the videos you put out.
Hi, my name is Kathleen and I am a plant addict. Looking around, I see plants from Ace Hardware, Amazon, annual church/Master Gardener/etc. sales, Canopy, CraigsList, Etsy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Kroger, Peace, Love & H Club, Safeway, Steve's Leaves, Target, Trader Joe's, and UA-camrs selling out of their home. No favorite cuz I neeeeeeed my drug of choice ... er, supply! Thanx for your transparency, Chris, showing us how Pretty in Green compares w/other online Sellers. I've purchased plenty items from you and thought your customer service was excellent. edit: *planty items
My favorite plant shop is in my hometown, McNamara Florist and Greenhouse, however I usually only buy plants when they are having a sale because they are overpriced! Thanks so much for the opportunity, love Ginger, I am definitely getting your Spiritis Sancti 😊❤
I like orange lake nursery but green escape on Etsy comes in second for online shopping. But my local nursery Pollilio's Garden Center has been having some great finds lately.
Thank you for this video! I just got into plants the last few months and Facebook groups have been where I get my plants online. I do a lot of research with reviews and going to their instagrams to make sure they are legit. I luckily haven’t been scammed yet 🤞
Hi, love your content. My favorite online place to buy plants is Wu Hoo Tropicals. Good quality, You’re getting the actual plant, great customer service, and local for me. Blessings, P Trainer.
My favorite place to buy plant babies is at Sullivan’s Allisonville Nursery! They have just about every plant known the earth and have now started selling the pineapple plants 😊 That’s a great new topic for you!
I love buying plants from Farnwerk. It's on of the only shops in my country that sells locally grown / tc rarities. I have one of their red crystallinums and I've never had a plant acclimate to my flat better. 💚
My favorite place to buy plants is an Amish nursery in lurgan PA or the nursery down the street from me called East Coast Garden Center. Thanks for the videos!
Facebook got some good things every once in a while. I got a variegated pedatum for 75 in a healthy condition with two feet of growth. Plus I also got a big albo for 75 with nice variegation. I also shop on Palmstreet when I can because they’re prices are sometimes a steal
I’m from the Philippines and my favorife way of buying plants on fb live sale from Filipino importers in other country like Thailand and Indonesia. In terms of price difference to locally propagated, the local plants are a little bit cheaper though it is easier to buy in Thailand since the importer can look for the plants you are searching. Some importers can ship to anywhere in the world and in just two week you can have your plants.
Found little Thai cons for 10 dollars at a local plant store and then at cotco they had big ones for only 40 dollars. The ones at costco had inner fenestrations already
I buy from FB, IG and Reddit mostly. I’ve gotten great plants from RPF, even if they’re more expensive than everyone else. BWH has great prices and the plants arrive beautiful and healthy. I’ve ordered from the Green Escape, next time I want a micro plant I’ll order me some tissue culture. I’ll have to check out Pretty in Green! I love your videos, they’re always informative and entertaining.
I love a ton of plant stores!!! Gabrielle's is my favorite to buy online for. My best friend Michelle Shining-Polk has the most amazing plants in my local Facebook group!! ❤❤❤ your channel and can't get enough of you, Leaf Lux!!!
I'm in mid-MI, my favorite plant "shop" is WalMart. They neglect their plants SO Much here, that I can rely upon the discount shelf to provide fancy plants inexpensively. My 2nd fav would be Kroger. The floral dept is always toooo cold for the tropical plants that get shipped. Those get marked down quickly, 'cuz they start looking sad quickly.
I got a Thai Con on Amazon for $49. LOL. It was wayyyy bigger than I expected. Hella legit. Just couldn’t hand pick one (for better variegation), but it was and still is healthy and thriving.
Anyone buying plants from peace love and happiness warning their store is filled with humidifiers in Seattle Washington, when I went to visit the humidity felt like it was in 90+ and it was difficult to keep some of the little 2inch pots happy. Beautiful plants but the plant is coming from a very high humidity environment so be prepared.
I love to shop local whether from shops or collectors in my area but when it comes to online purchases I'd have to say tik Tok has had some great deals I've grabbed from collectors live sales but I love ordering from palmstreet, Facebook or any seller that I can tell them have the love of plants and not just profit. I've watched so many of your videos but have never checked out your shop to be honest. I'll be sure to add you to my favorite online shop soon enough ❤😊
As far as my favorite place to buy plants online, it’s so hard to choose just one! What are you trying to do me?!? 🙈🤣 I think I’d have to say Unique Plant Nursery & Brokers is most definitely up there! Nacho is my spirit animal! 😆 But I also have bought some beautiful plants from you guys too!! Idk that’s such a tough one!! 🥺😭
What a great video! I love purchasing on Facebook groups & Marketplace because you can find awesome sales! Now that so many people are using Dolo It gives you that piece of mind. It like a resume! I also like PalmStreet & a local shop Wild Roots here in TX.
I've actually been doing most of my plant shopping on Etsy or eBay. I find a decent seller and go from there. Most of my stuff is caudiciforms that are kind of hard to find though.
I live outside of Columbus Ohio. I love Oakland Nursery for plants. I’ve not ever bought one online, but seeing this may give it a shot. Thanks and have wonderful day
I've been finding the best deals on PalmStreet, I've gotten some amazing deals on purges and some auctions. I just got an Anthurium carlablackiae RA8 x RA6 3-leaf seedling for $69 (+12 shipping). I've never seen a carla for less than $100 for even a one-leaf seedling. It will grow out fast enough and maybe it won't be one of the "super hot" dark leafed plants but at that price I will take my chances, a carla is a carla. I've also seen some Green Congo "Nuclear" fully acclimated out of TC for as low as $25.
I like Ecuagenera FL. great selection of aroid species and primary hybrids. Already acclimated. Their P. spiritus sancti X P. esmeraldese and their P. verrucosum X P. fibrosum are growing great. Much more vigorous than the parent species. They also sellorchids. I’d buy something from Pretty in Green For something generic occasionally Trader Joe’s has some great deals.
My 2 favorite places to buy are peace, love and happiness club and pretty in green. My lelano miyano and pss I got from PIG are a couple of my favorite plants I own
I definitely love canopy plants....but...I used Amazon to get 2 very special plants that were ready for 6 inch pots! Morona sp and Patricia! Although the pat is on the struggle bus, I paid less than 60 delivered for both. And I was able to contact the actual seller also. But now I wanna get scammed with that burly flame cutting too;)
I have been buying a lot of plants from Ecuagenera USA or original Ecuadorian Ecuagenera. And then on Amazon I found a new seller called US Amazon Plants LLC Ecuadorian Aroids & More. I was able to buy Anthurium sp. Morona, which was on my wish list forever. This plant has long leaves and growing pattern like a Philodendron. Can you imagine Spiritus Sancti with wavy leaves but Anthurium?
I work at Carol Watson greenhouse in Lafayette NY, and although it may seem biased, I do know from personal experience that we take very good care of our plants, and we have a wide variety of plants. If you are around, come check it out!
Locally I have found the best plants at Home Depot. They have healthier, bigger, cheaper plants than the local nurseries. I have also found plants there that I have never seen at local nurseries (Florida Green, Heliconias, Tortum, etc). Online, I have only ever ordered from Etsy....but I've been checking out that spiritus sancti on your site 🕵
I buy my plants usually through Etsy, Home Depot, even Walmart had really pretty marble PPP. I recently got burned with an Etsy seller. So looking for an honest online shop ❤
i guess my fave place to buy plants online is etsy but i don't really like it lmao plant prices are so weird. thai cons are still way over $100 here but ppp's are $10.
I have a pretty big list of online sellers I like just because well...I buy too many plants. It kinda depends on which plant. I buy a lot from Etsy sellers, a few on ebay, I've purchased from most of the well known online sellers including you! I've had very few bad experiences but have had some. But I will never buy anything, let alone a plant, from Temu.
Just because it is a good deal doesn't mean you should buy it. Is it an ethical seller? Are you able to find out where the plants come from? Would 100% not buy a plant from Temu.
My fav plant store shoutout: Happy Plants OKC is wonderful! I recently went to the main other rare plant store in Tulsa and not to bad mouth them…but I am mad spoiled living 10 minutes from Happy Plants. They sell online via Instagram and FB comments/stories as well. Wilson and Joyce are the owners and they are both super friendly and even message me when they get something in that they know I’m looking for.

I love Gabriella Plants for buying plants online. They always package their plants amazingly and ship healthy plants at affordable prices!
Palm Street and Blossm are my fave to buy plants online. I can't choose just 1. They both have amazing deals, trustworthy sellers and resolve any issues that may occur with any purchase.
I bought a 6+" monstera delecisoa for 29$ at my local Safeway grocery store. Its on a moss pole and put out 4 new leaves in a couple of weeks.
It takeslonger to grow though since most of them are so small.
can you tell from which companies you are buying your tissue cultured plants?
I can get most of these at my local plant nurseries here, Family Tree Nursery or Suburban Lawn and Garden.
My favorite places to buy plants is my local Family Tree Nursery around the Kansas City area & on FB marketplace.
My favorite places to buy plants online is the following;NSE tropical's, Steve's leaves, pretty in green and Gabriella's. Always get the best quality and every one of them guarantees their products.

Normand from Hawaii
PPP or regular monstera can be found at Trader Joe’s for less than 20 dollars
I got one of mine from tjoes for $10.99 and a much larger one at meijer for $16, the meijer one has a lot of pink too!
Wow love your prices pretty in green! I buy from local nursery and online canopy plant co. Great info have great weekend! :)
I bought a spiritus sancti on FB marketplace that ended up being a Jose bueno. Done with that. Scammed out of $72 (Just got my replacement from pretty in green)
Sorry you got scammed but so glad you got a replacement from us!! Thank you for the support!!!
I’ve actually found good luck on Etsy lately. If I have a great experience I favorite the seller and give them another shot if I’m in the market to purchase ❤

Canopy plants is probably my favorite independent seller. I’ve purchased a few very healthy plants and they are doing great.
Ya but with Teemu you have to worry about the plant exploding or starting on fire for no reason. So gauge the options😂
Hahahahahahahaa accurate 😂

Is there anyone here from the UK with suggestions??
I like Trader Joe’s and Facebook marketplace so far.
