ugh, I really dislike arrangements not being played in the original keys. I mean, if your group cannit play the piece in its original key, then why even try.

Exactly. It's just for lower level bands. It sounds like it was was lower by a fifth, but because lower level trumpets don't have the necessary range. I'm a college freshman and second chair trumpet in college band and this transposition sounds boring. I have a wide range, from pedal tones to a double G(occasionally).

Timothy Green No that's just in the score. Many scores are notated showing the concert pitch. But this song itself has been lowered by a P5. The original song is in the key of Eb but this arrangement is in the key of Bb
