As someone who's been playing league for 10 years now and is also a huge fighting game nerd. Project L is shaping up to be my dream game and it hurts seeing all these cool updates and knowing we aren't going to be able to play it for at least a year.
As a Moba and FPS player that has never touched a fighting game, I'm sure that this game will bring a huge audience to the FGC scene. Like many others, I have always tried to get into fighting games but never been able to because of the high skill ceiling and the already established community for games like MK, SF, and Tekken. So this game with many familiar characters will definitely be a gateway for us to get into this genre. PS: I also think that it is possible for fighting games to reach Faker or Caps levels because even someone like me who knows nothing about the scene knows about players like SonicFox and Daigo, so it's definitely attainable.
I love league lore, whatever your opinions on the game itself the lore is great :D Ruined King on steam is a fun play, it's an RPG with the league characters

Game's shaping up to be great. Loved the tagging in stuff like Battle for the Grid and Marvel Infinite. I barely know anything about LoL but I'm definitely down for this!
that's awesome! yea I never played either of the games it's pulling stuff from but I played the spiritual successor of those games (Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3) and I think it's shaping up to become one of the best games out there
This could be the first fighting game I get in on the start of…meaning I might actually put time into it and get acceptably good. And it’s not like I don’t have the smarts from other games I’ve been beaten in…

If they can make the bat hit effect sound be similar to the Baseball player from the persona fighting game I would be hella happy
see that would show a lot more personality in the audio direction!
