This cover is second to Mari Iijima. The original is still the best for me. But your cover put something modern to it. Younger generations will discover the old version because of this cover and the old generation will remember the greatness of the original song. Thank you for covering the song. I remembered the first time I heard this song was the one sang by Ranka Lee in Macross Frontier, the first Macross anime I saw! And then my friend who already a Macross fans since long time ago said to me that this song had already sung by a lot of heroine across the Macross universe's animes! 😲😲😲 One of my and my best friend absolute favorite was of course the 1st OP of Macross Frontier! We used to tease and joke our mutual boy friends with that 'Kimi wa dare to kissu o suru? Watashi sore tomo watashi?' Hahahaha.. what a fun song and lyrics! But again this one definitely one my favorite song from Macross too, and you do justice to cover it! Love love love it!
