not only did you make something cool but you also gave good advice about pulling out before it's to late. a lesson inside a lesson. nice job
😂😂😂😂😂
Handmakes a peel and then doesn't make his own crust? You're killing me, man
I really liked how you just went for this one. No printed template, freehand belt sanding... Good stuff!
"I think we better pull out before it's too late" 😂😂
Immediately grinned like a child when he said that.
Now you need a real pizza oven that you heat with your scrap wood
i watch many woodworking and other DIY channels, but your channel is probably one of the best I have seen. I think it's mainly because of your personality. Keep up the good work!!
I love the way that thing turned out. Sure beats my current method of using a cutting board and a hot pizza to burn my hands. I do believe this will be added to my to do list.
The reason I am watching is expectation of the pull out joke. Thanks for making a simple woodworking video so entertaining David.
That was awesome. It was like watching a show on the DIY channel. Plenty of info, and not all the boring "over explaining" everything. Great job.
Thank you! This was super fun to shoot and make!
You can never have enough clamps = good stuff!!! Love this project, very very cool.(I would call this peel "Pacciuto Style).. definitely going to make pizza this Saturday and my make one of these on Friday....
Right on!! Thanks!
Great job Dave! Thanks for helping developing woodworkers lime me and my boys!
Nice project, love the contrasting colour combinations. I like the informal chatty style you're using, it keeps the flow and passes along lots of good tips.
Sorry but I'm not a fan of all the handheld movement of the camera though.
Love the choice of wood. You're video style is getting better and better. Your channel has become one of my favorites. I look forward to your output. Thanks!
Great energy in the vid man. We have the old David back. Props to the camera man.
My grandma Macaluso would be impressed with that pizza David. Very nice
I'm liking the new style. You do it well.
You did great on the build Dave.great video
Having a cameraman changes the feel of your work completely. I heard you on the podcast saying he knows nothing of woodworking. As he learns, I'm confident he's going to get better at shooting the kinds of things you do. Good job! On your second channel intro video you number the times you say good stuff. Watch this one again and see if there's something you can number here. Something stood out for me because I do it myself.
This is becoming a cooking show. EVOO! Yummo!!
"Any bite of pizza without sauce is a disappointment." Truer words have never been spoken, sir. Super cool project! It turned out awesome! My father-in-law is obsessed with making home-made pizza. I think I may have discovered what I am going to make him for Christmas!
Nice!! Thanks Antoine!
I'm loving the new format, Dave! I've always liked your videos but I'm glad you're off the script!
Great video. Always make it look doable. Thanks
Great project, many cool techniques involved, thanks for sharing!
Great video Dave, the fire is back!
Nice build man. There was moment there I was hoping you were going to make two and then you and Kelly would find a tennis court to play giant ping pong. Also "pull out before it too late" hilarious my friend.
Great idea for the pencils!
I don't get tired of 'you can never have enough clamps!'
I love this video! I have a store bought one didn't even think about making one! New project on my never ending list! Also thought it was awesome you actually made a pizza and didn't just throw a frozen pizza in there! Love your stuff!
Thank you!
Really enjoyed the video. Glad you're having fun. Thanks for the content.
Woodworking and cooking in one video. Love it!
I'm loving the new/refreshed direction of your channel David. Keep it up!
Great video. Great instruction. Imma try this with my collection of less than stellar tools. Think about throwing on ear cans when you're sanding too. Even the shopvac / dusto collector will damage hearing. My dad's 90% deaf and can't hear his grand kids. He just didn't bother with ear protection.....
Great project, i like the new videography it really sets this video apart!
Thank you Evan!
Very ap-peel-ing build! Nice work! I love pizza and your channels! 🍕🍕🍕
Right on! Thanks Becky!
Nice job David 👍
I SO want to make this!!
Good tip to sharpen both of the pencil ends. Yes, I get tired of hearing that. ;) "One more handful of cheese and just pound it!" ha ha. Good stuff. Love how the project turned out!
Right on! Thanks Bruce!
on your next show you need to show how to build a wood fire pizza oven in the back yard! Make those pizzas the right way!
Great video David, love the new format with the cameraman!! Mmm, mmm, mmm, good stuff!!
Right on! Thanks!!
Nice job. I made one last year, and we use it a lot. I remember having a time laying out the shape since I a made it kind of square, but rounded up front. Also, like the idea of the pencils. I spend more time looking for the pencil I just had 30 seconds ago. Fifty pencils might get me through at least one project.
Thanks John! It's funny, I still have trouble finding pencils even with 50!
Great project you inspired me to make one. Thanks..
Nice work! The only improvement I can think of would be to use home made pizza dough!
Awesome, David! Nice pizza 🍕 peel and I like the new conversational approach. And great answers to my question. If I had a 4k camera I'd probably grab it too :)
Right on! Thanks for the support!!
For some bizarre reason, it never occurred to me that you could make one at home. It's such a simple concept, as well!
I really like how your videos turned out. The cameraman action on this one was nice, reminded me a bit of the ganxta shop tour video in style, but not too much of it. Thumbs up for the cooking part too.
While this one was great I'd love to see a bit more of antique store adventures & project from that too! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!! I'm still going to do the antique store adventures. I have one in the editing tank now.
Great to hear that!
Cool project Dave, great editing and film work I really enjoyed this video.
"Any bite of a pizza without pizza sauce is a bite of disappointment". Words to live by.
I'm totally going to fax your videos to everyone! LOL
Oh man.. Just like your videos, always inspiring me
Great job. Love your shop how organized & clean.
great project! i love that you have a camera man now! makes your videos looks awesome! love the overall new video production your going with! keep up the good work ! much love! Also keep "Spreading like a Gangster"
Your weren't joking when you said you were upping your videos ;-) I'm loving the new format and direction of your channel.
We eat a lot of pizza here so I'm definitely making one of these ;-)
You know, I always enjoy a pizza related project. Good job David! Now, you need a diy pizza cutter ;D
Can't you just send me your pizza cutter? ;)
+Make Something Oh! Should I made another one for you when I get some time ;D David, paternity is killing most of my free time..
"Better pull out before it's too late" haha, great project dude!
You really never can have to many clamps, though...
Awesome video as always! I'm definitely picking up on your vidcon comments from the vlog. 👍👍
Also, for the pizza, did you use the orgaaantic mozzarella from the middle of the bag, and then throw the rest away?
hahaha! You've been paying attention!
Frankly, I will unsubscribe to any channel that does not feel like you can never have too many clamps.....love the work!
Hahaha! Thanks!
I haven't even finished the video, you had me at Pizza!
Creeped out a little when the time on your oven was the time I was watching the video ;) I am liking the new style though for sure. Thank you for the content! Also, Mids is a great choice ;) My wife grew up over in the New Philadelphia area and they tend to love their sauce.
Thank you! Sorry for the creep out! :)
I'm LOVING the new format/videography. Nice project also :-P
Good stuff! Diggin' you having a camera man. And I love that you actually cooked a pizza at the end!
I know now what I want for lunch!
Digging the new format!
Keep up the great work
Thanks!!
awesome job David! I love it.
I'm loving the new style! Fantastic video and pizza peel looks freaking aewsome!
Thank you!!!
Great build David. My wife said she can already c one hanging in her kitchen
great work as always!
Great stuff! I would love to see a pizza cutter in the future. I've never really liked a pizza cutter I've bought. Always dull and feel cheap.
Good stuff. Having the extra person on camera really adds to the videos.
Hey, David, just to let you know, you have your flag by the drum sander hanging backwards. The field is supposed to be at the top left. It's a pretty common mistake and I thought you'd want to know.
I agree , we should promote correct principals to our youth
Ummm look again guys its hanging sideways. the left side is at the top(the band that has the brads to hook it to the pole. If you rotate the flag 45derees then it is correct.) btw this is a wood working video not a boyscout flag hanging video.
😎😎😎
your belt sander looks like a tank love it
Found it at the pawn shop for $15!
Wondering if on 2nd channel you will start making drinks again maybe some virtues. Great shit. Keep it up.
Vittles not virtues
Mmmm pizza! Great build!
Thanks!
omg thanks sir i been looking for a wood store like this in Toledo!!
You should not watch this video if you are hungry and love pizza ;) Nice build brother!
+JessVideoDude ha! I should put a warning at the beginning! Thanks!
Very nice project! I think homemade pizza is best when you sprinkle on some crushed red pepper flakes and for sure, you need to add another layer of cheese over the pepperoni and top with fresh grated Parmesan.😉
My wife will love your cheese border trick. Is the "chisel angle" not a little bit too steep?
Thanks great job
that looks so cool!!!
Nice Work and gotta love the Ohio made Mids Sauce
I wish my work shop looked like yours :D cheers on the project!
You wished your shop smelled like cat litter boxes and have cat puke everywhere? ;) Thanks!
Nice and clean. I like it
I'm coming over for dinner, see you soon 👍🏻
Really like your videos man, you're cool.
Great looking pizza peel!!! 😎👍
Thanks!
Looking good !!
I like the new style!!
Thanks!
It just keeps getting better. I like the new style you are adopting for your vids. Very engaging. Helps to have an active camera operator (hi Eric!!). Great tips and tricks in this one David. Thanks!
Thanks David! Eric has been awesome!
Very good, shared as requested.
Thanks Dave! Appreciate the share!!
Great work David! Specially enjoyed the pizza recipe :)
Dinner and a show!
Awesome work! Great form and function! Talk about how you came to use butcher paper on your workbench. I noticed that and the carpet pad...
Thank you! Visually my workbench is an ugly mess. Since this pizza peel was being photographed for my upcoming book I used craft paper on my bench to simplify the visuals for the photographs. The carpet pad isn't actually carpet padding but a router pad which is more dense.
Now if only you had a shop made pizza slicer... yeah... future project idea or what
I agree completely!
Pizza 'slicer'!?!??? Why slice pizza!?
I think Rockler has slicer kit.
Really enjoying your builds! Was curious if you have ever made a guitar or thought about making one?
Nice!
Nice work David. But tell me, can you ever have too many clamps? Nobody ever says.😉
I do that with the cheap yellow mechanical pencils because they write extremely thin and they're easy to find because they're bright yellow and normally you could get 10 packs from Walmart for $2.50
love it man
"did i wash my hands?" hahaha you're great dude
Nice lookin' project David. Like the flag touch. JimE
Great project. But if you have Trader Joe's around, you should get their raw dough. Or find a local pizza shop that will sell you raw dough. Or make your own. It's so much better than what you used.
Great peel, solid work. That pizza was atrocious though.
Consider this video shared, liked and what ever else I can do.
Awesome work, David. And you got the Kapex??? Extra Fancy!
Thank you! Kapex is a pretty sweet machine!
