Thank you so much, Christine! I love that color do much! I don't know if you saw my second video using that color which I posted a week ago. Simply stunning and so classy looking! Thank you, my friend, for watching . Have a beautiful day!
Thank you so much, Karen!! Isn't it the best when your brain starts spinning with clay ideas! ha, ha! Make sure to share what you come up with! Have a beautiful day, my friend!
The color looks blue (still gorgeous) sometimes bkue/green on my devices? Since it's called emerald, I'm assuming it looks a lot greener in real life???
It is definitely more green.... but my camera is having issues with green and blues. It is really frustrating because blues and greens are my favorite colors and I really cannot show them off as well as I would have liked you. Next time around I will shop for camera based on how well it portrays my favorite colors. Thank you so much for watching!
Super cool how they came out Joanna!! What a great idea to use the resin molds - I have the very same mold and never thought about using it for clay! Of course I had to look at the mica brand you used on Amazon lol very pretty!! Thanks for another great video - cannot wait for the next one ♥️
Thank you so much, my dear Gaby! That company has beautiful mica colors! I will use some other ones in future videos. I loved using the mold but make sure to throw your pieces in the mold in the freezer. It was so easy to pop them out! Have a beautiful day, my friend!
Dzieki! Bedziesz uwielbiala uzywac komplet silikonowy! Mozna je uzywac do zywicy albo do plasteiny. Powodzenia z remontem!
I completely enjoyed this tutorial and these pieces came out beautiful! I’m just getting started back with polymer clay but I have never done jewelry before just little cute figures. My question is how do you get resin to go on the side edges of a piece? Thank you for the tutorial.
You will love making jewelry! I just saw someone making the cutest figurines at a craft fair and I decided that it was way harder than the jewelry! I try to keep my resin only on top and usually use a gloss varnish for my backing and the sides. It is a little bit trickier to do when you have a dome shape pendant so when I add resin, I add just very thin layer a time and may end up with 3 or so layers. Thank you so much for stopping by and chiming in!
Hi Joanna. This is beautiful and matches an idea I have had for several weeks of designing a piece to look like blue and white porcelain. And thanks for the tutorial!
Great minds think alike, my friend! Thank you so much. Sherrill! I would love to see what you come up with. Were you thinking about using paints or mica powders for the pieces. I have seen people use both.
Joanne, these are very striking! I love te blue eith the silver and gold and am going to try to make some of these. My skill level is nonexistant but I love beautiful jewelry like this@ I noticed that you had to "peel" the clay off of each mold. My hands hurt and I wondered if there might be a different way to make them? ' If not, I'll just grin and bear it. Thank you for sharing these lovely pieces. 💙💚🙃👍🦋
My dear Ruth, I think you already mentioned that you saw that I throw the clay inside the mold into the freezer so it comes out easy. It works FANTASTIC!!

Your work is so amazing! I’m learning a lot from you. I am curious how you finished the wires on the back of the piece. How do you do it without having anything poking the person wearing it?
Thank you so much, Brenda! I am so glad you are enjoying the projects. You know, I love wire wrapping but I'm not very good at it. I just think it looks pretty. I don't know what the proper way is to finish a wire wrap in the back. I usually put the end under other wires and squeeze it with pliers. Yes, I know, not very professional! Ha,ha! Or sometimes it is easier to bring the end to the front and end with a swirl. Have you wire wrapped before?

Thank you so much! You are not the first one yo say that! I named it "emerald" after the imperial emerald mica powder that I was using. I have tried everything and nothing helps so hopefully my next camera will do a better job. Thank you so much for watching and for chiming in. I truly appreciate it!
Sorry about the confusion. I am using mica powder colo called Emerald and I included it in the title. In reality the outcome is more green than you see on camera. I always have issues representing true green color on my camera.
