    The color looks blue (still gorgeous) sometimes bkue/green on my devices? Since it's called emerald, I'm assuming it looks a lot greener in real life???

    • @joannascorner4478
      @joannascorner4478  Рік тому +1

      It is definitely more green.... but my camera is having issues with green and blues. It is really frustrating because blues and greens are my favorite colors and I really cannot show them off as well as I would have liked you. Next time around I will shop for camera based on how well it portrays my favorite colors. Thank you so much for watching!

    Cudowny 😍 Mam wrażenie, że wyszedł lepiej, niż gdyby był cały szmaragdowy 😊 Więcej sie dzieje i przez to jest ciekawszy 😉 A takie "narzędzia" silikonowe dostałam od koleżanki - cały komplet. A Twój "problem child" jest cudny 🥰 Świetny pomysł z nałożeniem żywicy tylko na jedna część 🙂

      @joannascorner4478  2 роки тому

      Dzieki! Bedziesz uwielbiala uzywac komplet silikonowy! Mozna je uzywac do zywicy albo do plasteiny. Jedyne co polecem to wsadzic plateine w tych formach do zamrarzalnika na kilka minut bo wtedy wychodza o wiele latwiej i sie nie wykrzywiaja. Widze ze jestes naprawde przygotowana do zabawy plasteina. Wszystko co potrzebujesz juz masz! Powodzenia z remontem!

    I completely enjoyed this tutorial and these pieces came out beautiful! I’m just getting started back with polymer clay but I have never done jewelry before just little cute figures. My question is how do you get resin to go on the side edges of a piece? Thank you for the tutorial.

    • @joannascorner4478
      @joannascorner4478  Рік тому

      You will love making jewelry! I just saw someone making the cutest figurines at a craft fair and I decided that it was way harder than the jewelry! I try to keep my resin only on top and usually use a gloss varnish for my backing and the sides. It is a little bit trickier to do when you have a dome shape pendant so when I add resin, I add just very thin layer a time and may end up with 3 or so layers. Thank you so much for stopping by and chiming in!

    Your work is so amazing! I’m learning a lot from you.
    I am curious how you finished the wires on the back of the piece. How do you do it without having anything poking the person wearing it?

    • @joannascorner4478
      @joannascorner4478  2 роки тому

      Thank you so much, Brenda! I am so glad you are enjoying the projects. You know, I love wire wrapping but I'm not very good at it. I just think it looks pretty. I don't know what the proper way is to finish a wire wrap in the back. I usually put the end under other wires and squeeze it with pliers. Yes, I know, not very professional! Ha,ha! Or sometimes it is easier to bring the end to the front and end with a swirl. Have you wire wrapped before?

    • @brendagallegos3042
      @brendagallegos3042 2 роки тому

      @@joannascorner4478, I’ve tried it a couple times but I’ve never been successful. The pokey wires are a challenge for me, and usually, it doesn’t hold its shape. Maybe I’m using the wrong wire.
      Either way, your work is just lovely. I’m a ceramics potter, and I haven’t worked with polymer clay for quite a while, but I am stocking up on tools and new clay so I can give some of your techniques a try. I’ve been toying with the idea of some mixed media pieces that would combine pottery and polymer clay. It will either be fun or a total disaster! Wish me luck! Haha!

    Not to be negative, however,
    this is SAPPHIRE,
    NOT “EMERALD”.
    Emerald is a bright KELLY GREEN, and the Emerald Cut is a stacked rectangle. If you don’t believe me, ask your local jeweler.

    • @joannascorner4478
      @joannascorner4478  2 роки тому
