@@lapidarydave Shines up similar to silver and stays that way too.I've seen some auto body fillers made specifically for metal, haven't tried tho. Quality epoxy mixed with thixotropic is my choice these days

Original backing was a 1.5 mm thin cut black onyx epoxed with 302 jewelry grade adhesive..no seams showing
What did u put the Bondo onto so it didn't stick like what was yellow sheet? Was it silicone?
