Sober for 8 yrs now and can confirm the part about friends who were there for parties and codependency I would say. It helped me a lot with taking time for myself, less highs and lows. Everything is almost always neutral unless something cool happens and you feel the uplift. As for bad things, they seem to last a much shorter time and things go back to normal. Cool video. I wish I was told those things 20 yrs ago 😂
1. Don't conform. Be authentic to yourself. 2. Know your worth. Don't compromise who you are to keep someone around. 3. Learn healthy coping mechanisms and unlearn the unhealthy ones. 4. Accept growth and change. They are inevitable. 5. Let go of relationships and friendships that no longer serve you. 6. Don't be self conscious. People barely notice things about you. Be 'weird' and authentic. 7. Invest in experiences than materialistic things. 8. Love hard but wisely. Do not let fear stop you from fully connecting with someone. Listen to your gut feelings. 9. The right people will appear in your life when you start to grow and heal. 10. Work on your mistakes and shortcomings. 11. Don't try to control and fix everything and everyone. They need to fix themselves. 12. Never tolerate mistreatments. Say no and put your foot down.
You have a beautiful soul Gia, and although because we don't know each other this may not hold much weight but - I'm proud of you. BTW, you also have the cutest laugh!

Be weird! I liked that. You have certainly come a long way with all these valuable lessons you’ve learnt on the cusp of 30. Well done! Best wishes ;)
Thankyou❤
