My wife and I really appreciate getting to see the tarantulas in the wild. It's so neat seeing where some of our spiders actually live in the wild
It’s a balance between teaching us captive keepers how best to keep our species, and the work your doing with conservation, all of it benefits the tarantulas however your work with conservation is the greater purpose, thanks for the content
Definitely more videos like these! Your content is amazing! It’s really great to have videos where you can get scientific information and see tarantulas in the wild . We need so much more information on tarantulas . It’s very appreciated and very nice to see you back on the videos. Keep them coming please
Welcome back!!
trying to!
Good to see you back 😊
💪🏻🥳
Great video I thought this was a skeleton tarantula. Love seeing tarantulas in the wild. Such beautiful and amazing animals I love them. Thank you for sharing this awesome video and have a great day.
indeed, very similar looking species at first glance :-) thank you!
Can’t wait to see more videos like this.
maybe yes, maybe no :)

We need more specific tarantula finding videos like this. I’ve watched every video on your Chanel and I just love when you are out there looking for these beautiful creatures. I’ve always wanted to go out and just search for them and observe and now you make it so we don’t have to. Keep up this content sir.
And thank you

That was a gorgeous frog and it looked cool with that bumpy skin.
indeed a very special frog :-)
You know it’s a good video when it makes you feel relaxed and comfortable.
:-)
Hey Martin, nice to see and hear you again on this channel and awesome footage as always!
Regarding the future of this channel: I always enjoyed your tarantula husbandry videos because they were based on your own observations in nature and not some generic info or the usual "info" on other channels. I would like to see this continue. Since I try to keep my tarantulas as naturalistic as possible, information such as pictures from the habitat around the burrow, vegetation, soil structure, humidity, temperatures at day and night as well as temperature inside the burrows are super interesting and crucial for naturalistic setups. Therefore, husbandry videos or highlight videos for certain species containing this kind of information from your field trips would be superb. With this you could combine the experience from nature observations with our hobby in a great way, if possible of course. And this would definitely stand out from all the other tarantula keeping UA-cam creators. Anyway, keep up your awesome work, both here on UA-cam and in research! Cheers
thank you Mike - great to hear you'd like to see more tarantula husbandry content, I'm working on that. a lot of changes are in the works for a loooong time, crazy how time flies! your words are greatly appreciated, thanks for taking the time to comment!
Got 3 of them they awesome tarantula’s all captive breed
awesome!
Thank you for this project. We need more information about tarantulas in the wild. If I may, I would suggest that you should visit Socotra Island to document the behaviour of M. balfouri in the wild.
one day for sure!
Can you show us your tarantula collection ?
hopefully you'll have more videos soon!
maybe! always fun to do a new video :)
That spiders like maaaaan u ain't fooling nobody u ain't got no food out there yall just trying catch me slippin
great video. i've never seen wild caught seemani, all in canada are captive bred. can you go to Angola and find the ceratogyrus attonitifer?
probably not in the near future, no🥸
Good footage as always and i love the unique info. A spider distributor here in US (unarguably the best one) is selling that andean flame guy from high in the mnts and cus of ur info ik about that spider's requirements. (And sadly that im not suited to keep one)
sounds interesting! do you have any more info on them?
Any project yall do on ts would be so welcome its always a pleasure to see these things as most don't go this far in their videos to show stuff like this or ts n the wild most only show oh this is my spider here's how I keep em they don't tell ant important information or breeding tips which that would be the best videos when good helpful information is attained but seems nobody wants to do that these days thats why I resort back to old tarantulaguy1976 videos those were some helpful videos not just shown about how they are kept n a tank there was temps humidity and breeding tips in them and so on
thanks mate!
When do you think the flood of WC seemanni will cease in the US?
Great video , i like the little frogs . Unfortunately my A.seemani came to me as a sub adult in a mystery box .I wouldn't have bought it otherwise for the reasons you give . There are cp slings available in the uk but as i understand it a real shortage of males in the hobby due to most of them being wc females . I promised myself that if i can ever track down a male i will try to breed these spiders . Mine lives fossorial under about eight inches of substrate.
that's a great story and plan, good luck with finding a male 💪🏻💪🏻
@@birdspiders I think allot of other people want to breed this species so any males that do apear will have there work cut out .
Hey, my T. vagans has finally gotten large enough for there adult setup but I can’t find photos of where they’ve been found in the wild, have you seen them in the wild? If so what can you tell me, thanks
very similar to this! just 3 hours away

@@birdspiders thank you
So how do you protect yourself when you’re in the jaguar capital of the world?😂 tell me you guys got at least a big stick with you
Are the skins of those frogs always toxic or only when perturbed? Like if one accidentally fell on you, are you in deep trouble?
How hard is that soil that the seemanis are digging through?
the soil is rock solid - like concrete, no digging possible without a shovel.
the frogs poison should not get in open wounds, otherwise it's fine I guess but not worth the risk
