They should try the red corsairs AKA the EX-astral claws, they had a good reason to turn traitor even more so then the night lords and they have a more sensible leader that’s just overall better then abaddon, Huron
Half of Red Corsairs are just Pirate Space Marines with the half of them are renegated traitors
The easiest yet hardiest Space Marine Legion to join isn't both the Imperium or Choas.
But, rather the Alpha Legion.
Because good luck betraying the Imperium and deny entry not one but all of the Choas Legion within the warp before an Alpha Legionary spots your work and recruit you for your amazing performance.
Or get kidnap by some Magpies and made you their hoard :D

Didn’t the Iron Warriors used a lot of Imperial Fist geneseed for the whole Daemonculaba stuff?
I would believe that they would take in traitor Imperial Fists successors just to stick it to the Imperial Fists. And Imperial Fists are the closest to Iron Warriors in terms of tactics, so they would get along with them better than with the other legions.
