Hi, really great playing and killer sound! Could you may make a video with a comparison when your spectracomp is turned off and on in the same setup like in this video? Would be interesting to hear the difference
Thanks! There is a photo of the pedal right before the gig ony IG page, you might want to check it out! But majority of the "bite" comes from the Spectracomp, and I got that setup with a help from a friend 😊
Dude!! This is insane!! Your tone is killer! I have the same sansamp and was actually looking into the compressor. Tell your buddy I'll take him to a beautiful seafood dinner if he shares his secrets 💀💀
Uhh, I have the same pedals but for sure not the same sound - it's a really great tone. Could you please elaborate a little bit on the sansamp settings or is this proprietary knowledge? Keep on rockin'!
Hey, thanks! Well, what I do with the Sansamp is simple, keep the drive moderate, fair amount of bass and treble, but the compressor does most of the work. And that's something my bandmate helped me with. What I wanted is a compression that would bring that tapping out and not being too "harsh" on the mids but rather smooth instead. What (I think) he did is killed a lot of hi-mids and treble so that the drive sound is more "focused" and not a lot of overtones. I know it doesnt help a lot but try and play with the knobs to see what you can get. And I also use the compressor as a boost pedal!
A friend of mine created the custom toneprint where it serves both as a volume boost but dampens the low end, mildly boosts high mids and softens the highs. How he did it? I really dont know! 🙂

Thanks 😊❤️
Sounds great.
Thanks❤️
Amazing tone!
Thanks man ❤️
This is neat because you have inspo from a few different players...rolled into one!
I had to do my best to play it as it is was wtitten, that descending run was tricky, but I play guitar as well so I managed somehow 😆
That bass sounds mighty 💪
Thanks 🫵
Beštijo 😁 treba te zakonom zabranit! Odlicno
😁❤️
Great tone! what do you use first? the compressor or the preamp?
Thanks! Compressor first 👍
Sick playing
Thanks ❤️

I might! Good idea!
Thank you for watching and thanks for the compliment ❤️😊
Other question: i got the spectracomp now and would it be possible to get your toneprint or the settings? :)
@@theporschone1978 It was done by a friend of mine in his studio. And I haven't seen what he did. 😔
@@petarstojko ok than i will try on my own 🥲

Воу, воу))) Шикарно!
❤️❤️
Did you use both pickups?
i'm not familiar with jazz bass guitars
Yes, both pickups!
Killer tone, dude 😎🤘🏻🎸
Thanks man ❤️
Which TonePrint are you using on the comp? Which TonePrints do you find useful on the comp?
I have a custom tone print that my bandmate helped me get. To be honest, I don't know the settings 😆
Crushing tone !!!!!! What are the settings on your SansAmp ?

I think even he forgot 😆
So I have a Electro-Harmonix Battalion and a Joyo Double Thruster... how should I assort it. Preamp->overdrive or overdrive->preamp?
To be honest I don't know 😆 My order is Compressor-Sansamp
I have a battalion too along with some other drives. If you’re using the battalion as a clean preamp, try this order. Battalion - double thruster.

Could you share your Spectra Toneprint?
Unfortunatelly, I cant.
It was done by my bandmate at his studio.
In the signal chain, you use compressor before preamp?
I did in this video, but I change that a lot depending on what I want at the moment!

@@petarstojko cool
do you put the comp before or after the Sansamp?
Before, driver is the last one in the chain.
