The camera/dismemberment animations with the VATS system are pretty satisfying. And I hadn't considered you can turn on/off collision boxes at different parts of an animation. I'll have to keep that in mind!
I enjoyed this video. No clue why it’s getting so much hate. Shows you can take concepts from an existing game and implement in your own project. Good job and as someone starting to learn unreal it’s very cool to see the things it can do.

He's showing he made a similar system, and that you too can learn to do this with his help. Obviously more content needs to be added for a complete game, but the base functionality is there. Not sure what you're expecting. Not sure what your problem with trends are, but it makes sense for him to build a community based on a game type that's popular.
