Love the tip with the wash. I love all-in-one paints but still tend to topcoat.
Oh yea I still topcoat in a high traffic area like a dining table or something like that as well.

Beautiful paint! We have using DB Silk and I just got some Fusion but will have to try the Melange One next. I'm so not a fan of doing topcoats unless absolutely necessary. Love your tip with the wash! Thanks, Sherry

They look great. Nice trick to get rid of the brush marks. With an all in one paint, I've heard that watering it down too much might change the topcoat quality. Did you notice anything like that when you diluted your final coat?
Thanks Sandy! Nope I didn’t notice any issues. However I had already done 3 full coats so I wasn’t really concerned with thinning out the top coat for protection as I already had solid coverage. Now if the wash would’ve been my second coat with only one full coat under it than yes that might compromise the durability level. Just be sure to have a solid base and you’ll be good.

Amber I love the color, these turned out gorgeous! I prefer all-in-one paint, the top coat always gets me and I end up messing up my whole project 😩 I’ve been using Wise Owl One Hour Enamel because it has the top coat built in and I love it. I’m excited to hear that Melange has one now, I will give it a try!

Howlong does One take t cure?
It takes 20-30 days to fully cure which is pretty standard for paint and topcoats in general.
The paint looks beautiful but the scale of these 2 pieces together is not good.
Thank you Joyce! These were a custom for a client. They’re not going to be side by side in her house. I just set them next to each other to photograph them together.
