1:45 This version of the Sting S4 is the Ultralight certified version, which is limited to 472 kilograms. There's a Light Sport certified version that goes up to 600kg. There's another post on this video that links to the pilot handbook for the Light Sport version, but you probably actually want the Ultralight version pilot handbook which is for the 472kg-limit version. In real life the wing fuel tanks are an optional addon, so not all Sting S4's have those. If you pretend those don't exist, the 472kg limit looks more reasonable. A funny thing is, none of the liveries included with this plane in the sim actually have the wing fuel tank caps, only the single main tank cap. I wouldn't have noticed if they hadn't included walkaround instructions in the built-in checklist that say to check the wing tank fuel caps to make sure they're secure.
Hi from the UK. Awesome video. I have recently purchased a new Sting S4. Very realistic texture and the sounds are very similar too. Thanks for sharing.
Again a little Video made with love . Makes me think, to buy that one, but isn't it another " flying G1000" ? Have already the RAV 14 from SimWorkStudio which I bought for the excellent surrounding view. What do you think ? Greetings from Germany .
Thanks! It's quite similar to the RV-14. I like the modeling of the Sting better, because it's a little more interesting to look at on the interior, and I like the realism mod via the EFB. So far I prefer to fly the RV-14, though. It's more straight-forward and also it isn't as limited from a weight and fuel standpoint. Of course the the Sting has the parachute, but I think it's a feature you'll try once and not use again.
@@SDFalchetti Thanks for your helpful answer ... you are exacty right with the parachute . I once tried it out in XP11 with the Cirrus Jet . Looking forward for your next artwork . Have a good time Bernd
A nice fun flight (and I do believe I have done it in the sim).
As always ... another enjoyable video!

Thanks! I checked out your channel and you've got some awesome videos. Loved the one where you flew in the Spitfire (how cool is that?).
Bless you and thank you. I appreciate the kind comment. I like your channel too. Your content is awesome and relaxing to watch.
2:40 This Sting S4 doesn't have a parking brake, so the wheel chock serves that purpose

You may have found this already, but here is a link to the Pilot Operating Handbook: sting.aero/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/poh_s4_lsa_kts.pdf
Thanks!
The texturing on the sim looks better than the real thing …ua-cam.com/video/ItCQE0oJR40/v-deo.html
Awesome to have a real Sting pilot drop by. Great video! Looked surreal flying above the clouds.
