Carbureted. And I actually ended up buying a scag v-ride II with a carbureted Kohler efi engine. I’ve always had Kawasaki but man, that Kohler runs really well and it never ever overheats.

I’m not sure. I would just find the serial number and then either Google it or call the John Deere dealership and ask them.
