Yea they are a lot of fun and I can go buy a 305 once the street stock is good enough
Loved the video! I cant wait to get home from work and play this. Quick question, why are most people going with the street stock first over the 305 sprint car? I'm trying to decide what to start with.
It’s personal preference, you can always buy the other one once you get 10k again. I went street stock first because it seems like the most realistic timeline for someone starting a career to me. I’ll probably get a 305 once I get the street stock upgraded well and running good
I found don’t be throttle down all the way around the track feel the rpm and grip level fine balance. I’ve been playing on the wheel and found keeping the rpm at a spot where the cheap tires can hold helps.
Yea I’ve learned finding the grip helps a lot, this game has been really fun trying to figure out where to run and how hard to push it so far! Can’t wait to get the car better
I found messing a little with custom setups helped a bunch on the speed. I set the socks 3.0 / 4.0 all the way around to start. I made the A main in every start on expert.
That’s good to know, I’ll probably just stick with the stock setups. Makes it harder for me to do well, I like the struggle
This made me feel a lot better about the stream I did earlier lol I was 40th as well in my first street stock but i just did the upgrades and will be doing the next race soon. Im using a fanatec wheel and this games KILLING my body 🤪 great video man, helped me realize a lot!

@@Armed4Gaming im glad you mentioned that!….did you know you can actually adjust the ai strength by number from 85-105? Its under the options if you choose difficulty as “advanced” i believe it was. I have mine on 92 for the AI. Im excited to see your progression, street stocks rip dont they?!?!
I know there’s a difficulty and a ai range slider you can do but I didn’t know about the advanced that’s interesting
@@Armed4Gaming such a new game im gonna need some more time to dig even deeper into the settings. Being able to play with the individual ai things like spread and qualifying strength is super cool. Seems we will be able to tailor this game to our specific driving times and stuff! If only i didnt have to work for a living lol
Yea it’s very flexible all together
The big thing with the street stocks is momentum and gear. Running with the rpm’s flat out gets you no where and I found that out quick. Let off early enough for the car to set up into the corner. And you will find you have grip. For Kokomo the best thing is to run low 1 and 2 high 3 and 4 At least that worked for me. Although you can usually get a huge run off of 2 and carry it through 3 and 4. Some times full throttle works but most of the time doesn’t. Especially if you run the bottom at all.
Right also with the terrible engine and other parts to start out with don’t help at all haha
@@Armed4Gaming actually once ppl find out about the grip the racing will be very tough, the high line has insane grip levels and if your car is not upgraded much it will bog it down a little but it's still faster than spinning the tires. Also i started with upgrading tires first. Helped to grab extra grip early on in the game instead of going for power.
Yea the more I’ve raced I have found that grip up top and it’s crazy, lots of fun to run up there also
Enter low and exit high in the street stock keep that momentum up it will help a lot
I’ve done a few more races and I’ve learned the very top has a ton of speed so far, it’s been fun going by the AI on the top

For the first race at Kokomo, u would have to hug the bottom and get back on the gas at the middle tire in the corner. That gets u around a 15.300

I think another good game maybe one day tractor pull. And I think the viewership for this is because of it being on Consol. Still good video
I wish it was on the pc just so it was easier to change from iracing to this, still a fun game either way. And the viewership is probably because it’s so new and people are curious about it for themselves
What driving settings do you use for stability and driving assists. I have like maybe 15% driving assist and 5% stability or vice versa
I have it on hard, I believe that’s 15% stability only

I’ve heard others love it on the wheel, I’ll probably stay on the controller, I’m so use to the arcade style games on controller and the more realistic racing on wheel
Sounds good. I just wanna a wheel when I can afford it and some kind of setup with it
Yea a wheel is a lot of fun! Makes you feel more into the game
Can someone please create a video or explain to me how to get my g29 driving force to connect to world of outlaws.
Once game starts I can’t get game to let me in using wheel - but if I turn on controller i can hit x and get in game. But once in game I can hit the PlayStation button on the wheel and it goes to main play station screennl but can’t get it to work in game- I need help
I never used a wheel on this game sorry, I always used a controller

I go way back to ratbag, cant believe i sold all of it. I didn't know everyone forgot how to make a good racing game after that lol same with nascar. Anyway it appears you're using a controller, not a steering wheel? I'm interested in buying this game if a controller works well
Yea on these kind of racing games I like to use controller because I’m use to that style of racing in a controller, plus it’s on an Xbox not PC and I don’t wanna figure out hooking up a steering wheel to that
@@Armed4Gaming thanks! 👍 as long as it works is all I need to know! Back in the day I had the force feedback steering wheel. But I had an absolute blast playing dirt to Daytona with the controller. I believe I heard there's a new version of this game coming out too. Thank you sir!
@TeeCee66 I actually played through dirt to Daytona after I finished up with this game and yes there’s a new world of outlaws coming out I believe September 17th, I’ll definitely be checking it out because this game was pretty good

After you've upgraded a part can you sell the old part?
I haven’t tried that yet, I think I saw it says obsolete but idk if I can sell it or not
I know in the Tony Stewart games you are able to sell your used parts to get some cash in the bank account.
Right it would make sense, I will try it when I get home later on and I’ll let you know

Street/Hoosier Stock class needs more cars not just 1 G-Body, need Camaro's, Firebird's, Mustang's!

You can stack the upgrades. Try to buy all 3 not just 1 in each.
