Alot of people started with street stock I feel like the only on that started with 305 sprints
In Australia there called street stock because they have the body of a street cars
It truly depends on the group their in if they allow spoilers here in Texas we have the imca outlaw street and its required to have one on yiur car

So quick tip. You don’t have to purchase the part upgrades in the order that they are numbered. You can purchase them in any order you please. To be clear I’m talking about the upgrades within said level of part currently installed.

I put my drive aids on custom so I could adjust it as I improved and could adjust the set up

They are setup like CRUSA street stock beside the tires looking like they are 10in American Racers instead of 8in Hoosiers
Aside from the spoiler and tires, they look great. Model could have used an update like the other cars but it is what it is. I’m glad we are getting more dirt titles on console so I won’t complain too much.
So how does this work you start off as a street car and work your way up to a sprint?
You start at the local level with a street stock or 305 sprint car then move up to regional level with a 360 sprint car or pro late model. After that is the national level with the world of outlaws late models or sprint cars. You can run both at the same time throughout the progression of your career.
I got the ps4 edition and it says you can upgrade to ps5. Anyone do this? Amazon sent me a code and when I redeemed in the PS store it showed me PS5 edition and Sammy Swindell. I got Sammy in the game but I do not know if it actually updated to the ps5 edition.
On the ps5 store you can specifically download the ps5 edition. Also, on the Home Screen if you hover over the game icon without launching the game if it’s a ps4 version it’ll have a big PS4 written close to the icon. If you have both issues downloaded it’ll do the same depending on which version you’re playing.
@@kevinbaker323 I got the ps4 edition off amazon. They did email me a code to redeem and I did so but I only got the Sammy Swindell pre order bonus. I thought I saw the PS5 upgrade when I redeemed the code but I do not see it now.
Only complaint is the heavy breathing in the mic. But, I enjoyed the video!

Real street stock run 6-8" spoilers and 10" tires. They run asphalt pull-offs. Street stocks are completely different than DirtCar, UMP, and IMCA stock cars.
Just look at Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas street/factory stock.
I certainly understand that there are a plethora of different classes that run under this name. However, if the game is going to publicize that this is a DIRTcar Street Stock class, it should at least be true to what those cars are. DIRTcar does not have a Street Stock division. It is a Stock Car division. They are not allowed to run spoilers. They run the same tire that the open modifieds do. I was simply pointing out that the game calls the division something that doesn't exist in the real world. Even when you go to the quick race menu and select Street Stocks the image that is provided is not of a DIRTcar sanctioned class. In our area, they use the term Street Stock and Stock Car interchangeably but when you look at the sanctioning body, they call them Stock Cars.

Oh, we run spoilers on our street stocks. Unfair to say they aren’t legal, maybe they aren’t in your region….
Yea I get that. But since World Racing Group owns both DIRTcar and WoO, they gave the lower divisions in the game the DIRTcar name. However, DIRTcar Stock Cars (which is their name from a corporate perspective within DIRTcar and WRG) are not permitted to run spoilers. So when the game says that the cars are DIRTcar Street Stocks and DIRTcar doesn’t allow spoilers, it is a slight misrepresentation of what the class actually is.

They redid the original World of Outlaws!?!?!?
I wouldn’t say they redid it. It’s a whole new game. iRacing bought out Monster Games so it has some of the officially licensed tracks and a lot of real world drivers as well.
I don't think I've seen a turnkey street stock for 10k 😂.
Man.. I'm glad I found this playthrough. I was debating on getting this, but it looks just like a reskin of Tony Stewart's All American Racing on PC. It MAY be worth paying the $39.99 just to get a less annoying track announcer and slightly (SLIGHTLY) better visuals. I don't know. I feel like I'd be paying for the same game again though.
I can see that viewpoint. It is a lot similar but the physics have been updated and the cars handle much different. And they look a lot better too.
