77 C2 evo, military exchange sale, $2,499, no tax…tv is just 🔥 Along with Sonos amp, Sonos arc sound bar, Sonos sub, two play one surround sound speakers and amp is driving 2 Polk audio in ceiling speakers
The lamps are Philips Hue Play Light Bars. All of my AV equipment is connected to a Philips Hue Sync box which then integrates with the Philips Hue Hub and controls the lights. It works pretty well. The lights were attached to the back of my previous TV, but with the change to the new LG C2 I thought I’d try putting the lights on the units instead.
Great review - I initially thought the pattern on the Top Gun Maverick footage was a copyright watermark you were doing! Just one question - if you have movies you bought via iTunes - will they work in 4K via the installed Apple TV app or do you need to buy a 4K Apple TV box?
I think LG has done just brilliant job in the G and C series ... I have the G1 EVO 77 .. its just superb. Yes it is reflective, however we watch most of the things after 7 pm .. so its ok .. I think C2 is better ...
Yeah I just bought the 65 inch c2 should be here on wednesday upgrading from a old Vizio 4k tv that apparently didn't have hdr or the 2.1 hdmi. Mainly get it for the PS5😅
Great review I bought the same tv from Costco but mines has a white case backing I noticed yours was grey/black ? Any ideas if there’s a difference is I’ve the 65 inch c2 model..
Hi Ian ~ Thanks for the nice review. Looks like a great TV. I ordered my 65C2 last week. I already have had a 65" LG OLED that I have enjoyed for the past 4 years. Wonderful. Needed another for our cabin at the lake. I believe most OLED TVs seem to have very reflective screens to highlight the clarity. In your case I would highly suggest to guys change your curtain to a dark one without a pattern.
how is the c2? i plan to buy the 65 but idk if i have the range to game, i might be to close to the tv and it might be really big, so prob ill go for the 55"
Hi Tanvir, thanks for the comment. I’m using a Philips Hue Sync box along with three Philips Hue Play Light Bars. The three light bars used to be attached to the back of the old TV but with the move to the LG C2 I decided to try them on the units instead. I prefer the new setup, the effect is far more obvious.

Very helpful! My 77 inch C2 arrives next week plus my upgrade is from an old but faithful Sanyo 1080P projector! 😁👍🏾🙏🏾
I love this tv and The Lights. Where do I buy those Lights and how do I connect them to my tv?😊

I was going to get the c1 to upgrade my old 1080p top of the range lg ... But now I'm definitely looking to get the c2
I would think a matte finish would make for much better viewing.... Although drawing the shades is hardly a hassle 😊
Like for updating the firmware right away 😅😅
Could advise where it is manufactured?
Question: What is that ambient lighting that you are using? I like it.

Excellent and informative video, well done.
Thinking about getting this TV myself.
