I just actually got the C1this week because it was so much cheaper with the C2 coming out! Over $900 off at Best Buy and on top of total tech for set up because I’m in a wheelchair and needed mounting help I actually got it for only $1333.72 and the TV I had before only had HDR 10 and it was way too dark no matter what I did for calibration so I definitely needed an upgrade and let me tell you it’s like night and day so I’m definitely not complaining but I’m always curious about the little advances so I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on these videos! Keep up the great work!
@@ruben7616 I signed up for a Best Buy total tech membership for a year and that took the price down. I needed to do it anyway if I was going to buy the TV from there because I’m in a wheelchair and I didn’t have a way to physically set up the TV myself.
@@ruben7616 I’m not sure it might be different for each size TV. I chose the 48 inch because of the size of my room it’s too small for anything bigger because I can’t sit far enough away from the TV for a bigger screen. It’s my bedroom.

I would get the 83 just because I have similar situation like you and it’s freakin awesome. You could always save up and buy the audio in the next couple paycheck lol
@@sinhnguyen8135 I would advise that when mounting the TV ensure the bottom of the screen is not higher than your eye-level when seated. I've been to a few friend's houses who mounted theirs too high, making a long viewing period very uncomfortable.
Oh, to answer your question at the end C2 S95B QN90B I hate the stand design of the Sony QD-OLED and I don’t wall mount. The Sammy looks so much better.
I currently have the 65’’ C1 I find it’s perfectly bright enough for SDR but to dim for HDR I got the Panasonic 4K player which has the HDR function to help so ours only with streaming HDR so hopefully the C2 will improve on
I'm using a 48" c1 as a PC monitor. Was considering waiting for 42" c2 but didn't wanna wait. Got a good price on black Friday for the c1. Just use a black background and a black screen saver and your good to go. Wish it brighter though. Hdr gaming on my samsungs qled q90t just spanks the c1 in that department

Great first look! With this stand, is it higher than the C1? The C1 sat really low so a sound bar would cover a bit of the bottom of the TV. Wondering if this is higher and so a sound bar placed in front of it wouldn't obstruct it.

The C2 has the new EX Panel from LG Display (the smaller bezels is the dead giveaway) , so the "Evo" panel is LG Electronics video processing optimizing the EX panel. The C2 should be noticeably brighter than the G1 let alone the C1 (supposedly). As for the stand, it's now much easier to stick a soundbar in front of the TV so it's more functional in that regard. Hey Tha_VillaMan, did you notice the TV is a lot lighter? Reports indicated the 65" would be 48% lighter.
@@ThaVillaMan There is a distinct difference. EX is a marketing term from LGD and refers to the panel name. Evo is a marketing term from LGE which they say is a combination of the latest panel and their optimization of it. Frankly LGE should just drop their "Evo" marketing as it's meaningless now.

I’m trying to see if it’s worth taking it back and getting the C2. Quick question.. I’m new to these OLED 📺. How do I prevent from getting burn-in? I do have a 4 years warranty. Was also on the fence with going with svs sb4000’s or 1723 2s. Your knowledge and feedback is greatly appreciated
I don't think the split screen comparisons are working well because they are showing different sides of the same image. A better comparison would be side by side or above and below of the same side of the image.
Why don’t you show how you placed the tv on the box? A few ppl broke their tv by twisting it too much or grabbing the corners. Did you have someone helping you? Or did it yourself?
The g2 is what I'm looking forward to as a gaming tv/monitor. I was originally thinking on the c2 with a warranty but then I realized the g2 would be the same price in the end and it comes with a 5 year panel warranty from lg so I made up my mind after that.
@@InternetSkeletor but like I mentioned the g2 comes with a 5 year warranty from lg and to get a 5 year warranty through say best buy it would put the c2 only 100 off of the g2. So why got pay the extra 100 and get a slightly better tv with included warranty and a heatsink to push it a little harder.
@@badzilla1173 the only slightly part is the brightness which is slight. Which makes me question why the c series is considered "midrange" and their g series flagship. You're really only paying for the art decor look and the flush mount. I was told by a best buy rep that the mount with the g2 isn't really flexible and based on where my bed is, I didn't wanna be viewing it at all times from an angle. So I opted for the c2 so I could get a flexible mount with it

Damn i literally just bought the 48 C1 for around $1000 US. Did i screw up? Ill be using it as gaming for xbox and computer monitor. If the 48 c2 is $1500 or more then im ok with saving the money and buying the older model.

Did you noticed that there is a bug when switching the "Just scan" to ON? The left side bezel "gets bigger" because the TV shifts the image to the right!! It happens with my cable set top box and with my Apple TV 4k. I have one 77 C2 with the latest firmware. Any tip to solve this? Is it a firmware bug or a defect? I have to keep Just scan OFF to get equal left/top/right bezel size but the image is zoomed:(

I would think so.. since the panel is brighter at an even lower energy consumption of the panel
If LG was confident enough to increase panel brightness, than yes they’re confident in their measures in place to reduce burn in risk
