Excellent review! I appreciate what you do, Ron!
Great job reviewing that scope, Ron.
Learned alot, thanks, and I love the dog.
Good review going to be ordering the toric this coming month
Great review
I have the TORIC UHD 30mm 2.5-15X44 FFP MOA Hunting Rifle Scope on my 6.5 Grendel. Love the glass and everything about it. What I really appreciate it is the Tract app on my phone which let's me dial in my cartridge and everything else for a BDC reference. I did copy this over to drop chart card that sits on my scope to make it a little easier. Thanks TRACT for a quality optic!
Thanks for the kind words and support
You are the only one here on UA-cam that I trust to purchase expensive equipment, so much BS on UA-cam about scopes, pathetic. Thank you for your honest & excellent review.
Thanks for your comment. R
I have the big brother to this scope. And I buy the Vector Optics Continental line now. Hard to beat it. Their 3-18x50 34 mm tube is wonderful.
I don’t see a 3-18 on their site.
GREAT WORK PAL!!!...THIS IS MY NEXT SCOPE PURCHASE!!!!
Tract toric is an amazing optic. I've put mine through its paces on the range and in the field over the last year. I have zero complaints with mine. The owners and employees I have dealt with are all amazing people. I was curious before purchasing and made a post on bergaras Facebook page before purchasing my first tract and the owner of the company himself messaged me and offered to answer any questions or concerns I had before making a purchase. In my opinion a company that cares about their customers is way more important than saving some ounces. I'm 300 lbs and 6ft2 inches. If a few ounces makes a gun too heavy I might as well stay home. Will definitely be giving tract all my future business.
Thanks very much for the kind words
@@tractoptics1120 you guys deserve all the praise you can get. Awesome quality at a price us common folk can afford. The law enforcement discount was also much appreciated.
@@stephenknight1325 Thanks very much for your service
I feel the same way about my tract experience… definitely be getting another the tract in the future. It’s probably going to be a while. Love my hunting setup.
Thank you Ron and Tract!
@@tractoptics1120 looking to out for my tikka 300 win mag and I’m going tract just not sure on which one yet, any suggestions are appreciated, the gun will be for elk and black bear
It kills me that yall didn't put the illumination in the FFP version because in low light on low magnification I'm really skeptical that the reticle is visible without it... Even a tiny center dot would've made this the perfect hunting optic. I already own a couple of the Tract Toric UHD 4-20×50mm with the MOA PRS reticles and they're 2 of my favorite optics so I know yall can do it... Come on Tract make it happen!!!
We hear you load and clear....the FFP version with illuminated reticles should be available by the middle of next year. Thanks for the feedback
@@tractoptics1120 Jon and Jon, thank you from another satisfied Tract owner.
Me over here wondering how this man was killed due to lack of illumination...
Using a camera to gauge brightness can be a little misleading unless the camera has a physical aperture that is stopped down to roughly matches your eyeball. To Ron's point, a camera can "see" brighter at >7mm exit pupils while your eyes won't.
I’ve shot my tract 2.5-15 out to 1000yds on my 6.5 cm AR and it is an awesome scope. I love my valdada G2 but I could have had two scopes for what I paid for 1.
Thanks for your support
If the scope list as Shot glass and this glass is considered German quality then help me understand why the quality scopes listed on website are Japanese ? Does Germany sell their glass to Japan ?
Thanks for your question. SCHOTT is a German company (actually owned by Zeiss) that has facilities all over the world. The glass in our products comes from the SCHOTT facility in Japan. All TORIC products that feature SCHOTT glass are manufactured in Japan.
@@tractoptics1120 ok, thanks for the explanation. I’m leaning towards buying this scope in MRAD and should like to use it for my .308 gas gun and .556 gas gun. Only other question is the lens. How are they as far as scratches? Are the lens scratch proof or do I need to be diligent using the lens caps?
@@j.n.8745 We use coatings that are very hard, so the lenses are scratch resistant. That being said, it is always recommended that you try to protect the lenses as best as possible. For this reason we offer the Tenebraex Tactical Tough scope covers for all TORIC scopes
@@tractoptics1120 Thank you. I have set up my account and will be placing an order after this weekend.
@@j.n.8745 Glad to help. Thanks very much for the support
Nice looking scope but to rich for my blood.
Cross hairs way too thick for me. Nice scope otherwise.
too heavy, IMO.
We also offer 1" models that are lighter. Good glass is dense, dense glass is heavy.
@@tractoptics1120 people over react on weight. These same dudes will pack 5lbs of useless stuff. They need to hit the gym lol. 6-8 oz is not big deal
@@tractoptics1120 I have 2 UHD scopes, so I know the quality is there. but almost 30oz for a hunting scope just doesn't suit me. hence, the IMO comment
@@ULFISHGETTER my opinion, so we just disagree. no reason to make commentary on something you don't understand.
@@ppmnox wasn’t really aimed at you, but everyone who complains about weight in general. I don’t understand why people want a 4.7 on rifle with a 11oz scope on them in 300 win mag. People will spend 1,000+ more to save a pound. I just feel like there’s better places to save weight. This is just an opinion as well. We don’t agree.
