Just to give you a heads up..Eric Cortina is a world Champion F-Class shooter and National/World Champion. He has a pod cast called "believe the target" where he does long form interviews with other high level shooters and Industry titans. He has asked who his viewers want him to interview next and by a wide margin....we are saying YOU. so hopefully get ready to speak with Eric
Thank you, and he did email to see if we where interested, but with our current work loads it was something I had to decline, maybe in time to come, just not something for the immediate future, Cheers
Ive got about 850yrds to play with and have been enjoying taking my CZ 457 out to longer ranges. Ive been considering this as an upgrade to reach out 600+ with the 22LR. Great video. Thanks
Just put one of these on my 30SM. It's on a 20MOA rail, with a 45MOA M-Brace mount, which should give me right about 145MOA usable adjustmant. That's absolutely bonkers. I love that Tract is getting some good attention.
I have one on a 20MOA rail with a Spuhr 20MOA one-piece mount and I have 116MOA adjustment. It is currently on my 6GT, but probably will move it to my 300PRC.
Nice to see more competition in the scope world. My current sweet spot is Sightron but these seem to be in a similar price range. As you say SFP and MOA option would be nice to see. Thanks for the review 👍
Well I havent bought this scope yet, but I already had my 300prc pac-nor barrel cerakoted to match it. So Im pretty sure I'm going with this scope. Lol
Great review. Heard good things about Tract, so far however am unable to locate a supplier in Europe. Mark - Have you ever heard of rifles made by J.Jongmans? Apparently he was a dutch who migrated to NZ or AUS and did a small volume of high quality rifles. Have you any info? I tend to look for rare birds and have came across one of his rifles. Cheers.
Have you seen the Maven RS4 4.5 -30x56 , 48 mils internal adjustment. I run one on my 300PRC Ruger Precision with 20moa base. Dialing 32.6 MIL gets me out to 2kms.
They probably don't include the last 20 MOA in the specs because you lose to much windage adjustment at the extreme ends. I agree on second focal plane. I would rather have a reticle that's not to thick or thin, but just right. 👍
Any chance you’ve had a chance to loop through the Zeiss LRP S3? It has similar specs. I’ve been debated between the two on where my money would be best spent.
@@markandsamafterwork I actually own one and use it for NRL-22 and PRS Rimfire. I don't have a great amount of experience with many scopes so I can't say how it compares to others, however I can say that it was quite a significant step up from my 1-8 Strike Eagle!
Thank you Mark.
Cheers
I learn something every time I watch your channel. 👍
Awesome, Cheers Man
You’re the second gent to make a video on tract since yesterday.
Cheers
That scope is beautifully made and looks very much friendly to the user.
Yep, Cheers Cam

Excellent product for such a small size. Thanks for the explanation of the erector/glass travel limits.
Cheers
I own a Tract 4-20x50. I really like shooting with it. It's a tremendous value for the money. Seems like a very well made optic.
Awesome, Cheers

@2008bkieffer I just found and bought a CZ 457 MTR. I’m looking to buy this scope. Which base did you end up using and in what MOA?
Lot of good options these days, been looking at tract for my next build. Hearing what you have to say about them has peaked my interest even more.
Awesome, Cheers
Thanks , Mark.
Thanks Dave

I got the Zeiss version which is really pretty much the same. It's very useful for what I like to do.
Awesome, Cheers
Good Review , Very Nicely Done ! 👍
Thanks Jerry, Cheers
Cool scope
Cheers
I rather like the Tract scopes with a nice tight reticle with a small cente cross hair. Solid and won't bankrupt you to buy.
Awesome, Cheers

They sell direct, email them, and no sorry, Cheers
Will do - thanks, Mark.

Not something we have seen, cheers
Does the maven have darker crosshairs for hunting

Yes that can be a factor too, thanks Man
Looks good, certainly ticks all my boxes. Are they able to be purchased in Australia or do you have to buy direct from the US?
Contact them, but direct think, Cheers

We don't have contacts we Zeiss, sorry, Cheers
👍👍👍👍

Which did you like more the ziess lrp or this tract
Have not seen the Ziess
🎉✌️👍‼️
Cheers
Hi Mark where you buy the tract 4x25 in Australia?
Regards Michael Winchester
They deal direct, go to there website, Cheers
Do you think this better or 4.5-30x56
For ELR it has more elevation
Seems to me like a direct competitor to the Zeiss LRP S3 4-25
Sound like the very similar specs, looks like a little more cost, but not actually seen one of them to tell anything more, Cheers

Yep sure is, lol, Cheers
What do you think about the ep5 Arken scope ?
Not used one
Had a arken it sucked
Where are they able to be purchased in Australia
Contact TRACT
The dot looks very small.
But not too small, exactly what you want for precision work, especially ELR, Cheers
