Sound good but I would take out the side plates just see if you like it,I did make the openings at 1/2 inch diameter and it made the sound better , i drove it for about 4 months that way, I then added gt 500 axle back mufflers and the the sound was deeper, then my son suggested I take out the plates, at first I thought it would be too loud, I said ok I’ll take them out because I can always replace them back if i didn’t like the sound , Well to me with the plates out the sound is spectacular! Not to loud to me and the sound can be subdued with the control of my foot , As a result, I get many thumbs up , love your videos.
Hi Sean, I find myself coming back to your videos for my Stang build! I thought you had the Gold tips on your Boss302, could you please tell me what make and model were those? I wanna check them out! Thanks buddy...keep rockin the boss.
+Doug FA Thanks for the question. Yes all Boss 302s have the side exit exhaust. The Boss 302 also comes with a different Muffler in the back from a standard GT.
Hey Sean. How’s the drone on those? They sound amazing. I was told to go with the borla s-type or ATAK. What you think. I’m just getting the cat backs. I know the hole system gives a different sound then just the cats.
Hey man, I'm not too sure how different the boss mid pipe and over axles are from a gt, but to take down the drone without taking away very much sound i recommend vibrant resonators. A buddy of mine threw them on his full exhaust 5.0 and it helped with the drone tremendously. He had them welded in where the factory 5.0 resonators are. Your car sounds good!
Yeah, I have Flowmaster Super 44's (or is it 40's... I don't remember for sure) on my '87 Mustang GT and it sounds fantastic but the drone takes it's toll at highway speeds. Always been that way.
I put this same flow master muffler on my car and pulled them off the same day, the drone was horrible I then went with the roush muffler and it’s great.
The track key idle is one of the coolest features on these Boss 302s.
I do love the track idle. I had someone give me a dirty look the other day when the car switched to track idle. lol. Some people just don't get it.

Funny enough it’s stock GT500 quad tips. I just run them so hot at the track that they turned gold.
@@SeanMcGuigan hahaha I never could've guessed, I'm seeing gold tips vids on YT and lambo gold tips worth 1200$ came up...I'm like really? ...dang!!!
Sounds good, Sean. Does the regular Boss 302 have side pipes as well as pipes coming out the back, or is that only on the Laguna Seca model?

Little bit of drone. As the miles have been added it calmed down a lot.

+Trenton Capps Thanks for the advice! I have been thinking about doing just that. Good to know it helped out your friends car.
Same exhaust on my 5.0. Love it but drones on the highway :/
Unfortunately you are correct. I Love the Sound but I have to play with the throttle input to find a sweet spot where it isn't so bad.
