Picked up my 2012 Comp Orange 302 a few months ago. Taking it to a 1/3rd mile roll racing event at Pocono next weekend. Was looking into autocross now too. Your videos are definitely giving me a lot of ideas!
I got my 2012 GT about 8 months ago. The car came with Steada adjustable suspension and lowering springs and a steada adjustable pan hard bar. Boss intake Manifold with an Airaid cold air intake and Corsa axle back exhaust attached on the stock exhaust. I since then I went to............... ●Cobra Jet intake Manifold ●PMAS cold air ●Lu47 injectors ●BBK Long tube headers ●BBK offroad Xpipe (no Catts) on this car ● (All MacLeod) Street extream clutch, race spec flywheel, hydraulic throw out bearing, steel braded clutch line ●Ford Racing roller pilot bearing ● Extreme Stop cross drilled and slotted rotors ●Extreme Stop carbon graphite pads ●Ford Motorcraft dot 5.1 fluid ●JLT catch can ●Barton hybrid 3 shifter ●Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft JMS fuel pump voltage booster............. I like you am serious about getting my GT to the next level. On E54 I'm dyno at 450 to the rear wheel, on E85 I'm 460 dyno to the rear wheel. I have had no trouble with installing my cobra jet and using it with my Ford Racing tower strut bar. Until I installed my PMAS cold air. You must relocate the over flow near the fire wall. The strut tower bar now hits the overflow and can not be mounted. Look at youtube video... Modified boss 302. Mike is Using a Ford Racing cold air. It does not require you to relocate the over flow. It stay in stock position. he is also using a tower strut bar.
I had the adjustable whiteline lca, relocation brackets and poly diff bushing. The whine was really loud and the car was very stiff. I removed them and reinstalled factory components.
No I leave them in as I do get people hoping in the car from time to time. Long term I am planning on getting a set of fixed racing seats in the car. That will save a lot of weight. Close to 100lbs
Personal preference really. I wanted to stick to the conventional setup on the car for now. With the differential bushing and rod end upper it should be really solid.
Ah I understand. Basically yes. Most parts for 11-14 mustangs will fit a 2012-2013 Boss 302s. It’s a small list of stuff that would not fit. Mostly to due to the Motor it’s self. All suspension will fit.
Most stuff for the engine will fit too. Example being headers cold air intakes, throttle bodies. Just make sure anything else is an upgrade. For example the Boss 302 comes with different cams, valves and valve springs. Sometimes aftermarket parts are not a true upgrade from what the boss 302 comes with.

What suspension set up would you have gone with if you hadn’t come across the Jri Coilovers?
When you go racing, are you going to take out the passenger seat to save a bit more weight?

LMK when you post the old parts for sale.
Did you sell your old watts link?
Sean. How do you like the QuickJack? I've seen them at Costco for $1100..
Absolutely love them. Best thing I have bought to work on the Boss.
Sean...what about a cortex racing torque arm?
Personal preference really. I wanted to stick to the conventional setup on the car for now. With the differential bushing and rod end upper it should be really solid.
@@SeanMcGuigan is there any down side to doing the torque arm that made you prefer the conventional set up with the upper control arm?
Is boss302 part are hard to find or no please reply me
Hi Isa. Which part are you referring too?

Wish there was an aftermarket mod kit to convert the S197 to the IRS of the S550.
