"We came to this planet looking for intelligent life, oops we made a mistake."
Harsh but fair.
Is that robin williams
@@nyanscout3413 Yeah it is, from Mrs. Doubtfire
R.I.P
Robin Williams is a legend that never dies.
I saw that right as it played in the video
2:56 Little too real there
inspiration often comes from the things you experience every day i guess
But it is a nice before and after type thing though.
It’s so true 😂
Mood
that guy gonna get a job at mpc for realistic animation :3
I am LIVING for the exaggeration of these characters. How they move as they speak, how they are never COMPLETELY still its so wonderful and these people are so skilled its incredible.
Not just that but they have a lot of personality with them. And that one little girl is going through some SHIT.
I hate it actually
@@nicolasapocryphos6696 lol
@@nicolasapocryphos6696sucks for you then
I just realized halfway through his speech that was a clip from Transformers.
2:45
I love how hilarious this one is, and how Shia Labeuf’s voice matches the character perfectly.
I recognized the movie immediately
What's it from? It sounds familiar
@@firelily0894 transformers
I would love to see the transformers
@@cocoahere875 what one
0:17 I wish we could see more of Saul Lattore's project. The story looks real interesting
The story is from Dr Horrible's Singalong Blog. It is indeed interesting. The singer in this song is Neil Patrick Harris.
It looks like megamind, but it could be something totally different with a similar premise
@@thwingerpodthvet4302 see above
The person tied up looks like female riddler
I thought she was elasti-girl for a sec
3:02,so true though! Animation looks easy and fast but it takes time and effort.
Edit wrong time.
Yup. And whenever some dipshit complains about how people use an animation technique that they don't like, they only help suck out your soul.
Welp,thats stop motion for you
Ikr, its relatable
@@mlgshark8915 I was referring to 3D model animation. Tried doing it for six years but got tired of people complaining about it. So I switched to 2D animation.
@@daanimegoatman6683 eh you can do both you know
Can't wait to see the comments with time stamps
You are two years too late
Yeah your way to late
I see the algorithm has also blessed your feed as well. Welcome, my dude.
It’s the apple man.
Ayyyy look everyone it’s spine apples
0:20 is honestly my favorite clip because of how cute the villain is. honestly tho, all of the animators did very good.
Agreed…
Megamind parody.
Go and watch Dr Horribles sing along blog for the original
0:18 I hope this turns into a movie. i would go and see it.
I wold definitely watch this a hopeless romantic villain and by the book hero who tends to fail a lot, lol 😂 that’s what I got from it lol
the expression is so god damn funny ! (look like hotel transylevania) i love it xD
@@vvsvlogsYT Thanks for the info, it seems good. i'll watch it when i have.
Flolus (it’s megamind) but I would like a story of a superhero turning deliciously evil for a day
@@Mariathinking i've watched megamind way too many times already. Although i did get a similar vibe from that clip. Megamind+incredibles to be more precise.
And that's how great movies are made everyone! Also 2:56 is basically explaining every animators hardships.
oh my god 💀
I’m pretty sure it’s from a movie, I’m just not too sure which one
0:19 So buff MegaMind is in love with knock off ElastaGirl
Makes sense lol
Lol
Or more like This Girl Character Looks Quite Similar to Violet
0:19 its day 12 and I can't stop thinking about this animation.
Nova Morphex same
Same
Same
2:07 That's definitely Night at a Museum.
Slenderguy56 yeah bro they’re just practicing animating stuff
@@okay6470 I know. Just hearing that scene brings back some nostalgia.
I KNEW IT SOUNDED FAMILIAR!!!!
He Sound Like From Sherlock Gnomes
Yep
1:13 man this moment really made me laugh and cry
Robin williams 😭
@@spikesponge7005
Awwww darn. That really stings.
The audio is from Mrs. Doubtfire lol it's a really good movie
i like how some student animations look way much better than professional animations
True but you gotta take in effect that the surroundings are pretty much still
It's animated by students, but lit and rendered by a professional.
Partially, but you can tell by the way that a lot of these characters look generic, that they're probably using templates. Still props to them for animating them, but this is far from professional animation.
@@trickytreyperfected1482 It's not even "probably" All these chars are available through AnimSchool, I was going to join but decided to do a gumroad with a Pixar animator instead for the person to person aspect. Legit all this is doing is showcasing their knowledge of moving a rig and capturing emotion.
Not downplaying it, but the amount of stupid/uniformed that thinks they modeled, weight painted, lit, rendered, etc everything is insane in these comments....
@@ZigealFaust doesn't downplay the fact that the animations are amazing. Makes me think of the incredibles or soul
1:56 sounds so damn important. If only we got an animated movie with this theme-
inside out
loved this one
3:31 might be my favorite clip. There's such a naturalistic vibe to this that I enjoy
Winter Fisher do you know where's it from? sounds a bit like Viola davis
Its the leanback that really sold it for me
The cigarette was a little weird but otherwise i totally agree
0:38 is no one questioning buttered grapes? (Btw all these animations are amazing)
Flarnador XD omg I just noticed he said buttered grapes now XD
My question is, what do they use to animate and create these?
oh no I can’t unhear _grapes_
oh frick, i'm now noticing that and i can't un-hear or un-see it
*T O E S*
"that's the whole thing, that's three weeks of work."
Meta and funny. Best one by far.
1:42 Absolutely love how the overall bodylanguage is done in this one, i mean look at the hands!
The "rule the world" song is damn good !
It's from damn good internet musical "Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" that is free to watch and is somewhere here on youtube
My freeze ray
1:57 damn that got real, real fast
Edit: Or rather it hit a bit too close to home
The father's expression hit me
whats it from
@@anneprocter Californication S2Ep7 - In a Lonely Place, from what other s have said.
I relate to this so much that it’s scary.
@@the_solomon_sage8431 thank you from four years later lol

This one was AMAZING!! The dynamic movement felt so fluid!!!
Minecraft movie be like :
0:19 That is really damn good.
TrustyCranberry
Yep! They should make a movie
@@Green-Rainbow I would watch the fuck outta it.
@@saylorcassady1163 Dr Horrible's song along blog
@@hello_people5283 I know, I mean an animated movie about the two characters.
@@saylorcassady1163 Oh, yeah I agree with you
0:30 the song is called Freeze Ray from Dr. Horrible
*Breathes in* NERD!!
Ink 1 me to my classmates
😲 ohhhhhhh
0:20 that was very well done and funny 😂
I agree :D
@Liv Ocampo thank you
Liv Ocampo NERD sorry this is joke please don't get offended I'm sorry I'm sorry
Honestly i love the dr horrible animation as much as the rest of yall but my DEFINITE favorite is 3:31
Its so lifelike and subtle and beautiful. She isn't moving in absurd ways shes moving _like a human._ and thats so startling and hard to get right. Absolute 11/10
0:29 Love the way this guy moves
3:09 Yeah that's me while working on music production. It's like your self-esteem falls down a cliff after you realize you're not even done with half of the song and it's been a month already
Egnato 116 that tis the way of art ~
3:31 Thats just so well done. It's so emotional and the audio couldn't match the animation any better
0:20 oh my God the motion and movement! Aaaahhhh I love it!
3:32 was art, I don't know how but the feeling of nostalgia hit me right in the heart.
Year by year getting better and better!! So pleasing to watch determined people working on their dreams!! Very inspiring!! Great job everyone!!
And 3D animation is getting harder and harder in the industry compare 2012 and before that
Anfissa Krylova well that’s cause it’s 2018 duuuh oh wait it’s gonna be 2019
2:21 A series of unfortunate events, The Carnivorous Carnival
I knew it was from somewhere! Thanks!!

1:13 was amazing i loved it, all of them are so good
The Incredibles: Ok, you can copy Mr Incredible's design. But don't make it so obvious
Animator: *Makes his nose longer*
4:38
It's a character modeler that sculpts the character and It's a Technical Director/Rigger that gives it its bones, but it's the animator that brings it to life.
Isn’t that Phil from modern family?
I think I have heard that bit from it
These are all so great!
I keep rewatching this one 😂I love it
0:19
Same!
Wow, at 4:15 when she twirls the knife, that was an interesting usage of smear frame.
2:07 is definitely one of my favorites.
0:05 The way he says "AND WE TOOK EMAHL" just the way he pronounces "em all" never gets old
It's an audio clip from Pirates of the Caribbean 1
0:18 i can't stop rewatching it's so good. the characters are awesome. def needs to be a movie!
The artstyle reminds me of the incredibles
0:19 damn this animation is so good
The styles, the movements, the expressions, the emotions, all of it amazing. Honest to God it is amazing. Humor, serious emotions, slice of life moments, all of it pulls off what it tries to do.
Either these are your top students or this is the Ivy League of animation schools.
wow, awesome work guys!
You have awesome work too, mr. Wimshurst!!
4:38 OMG its Phil Dunphey :D
Mixed with Mr Incredible
Tom Woudstra but with that hair its more like adult Dash
xD
"I know all the dances to High School Musical, so..."
I thought it looked like retired Mr. Incredible
Saul Latorre is going places. That was some fantastic movement in his animation and I loved how expressive and exaggerated the faces were.
These are so animated and full of personality. Not like the usual stock look that a lot of 3D animations have, but these feel alive and loose and like...like real people! The expressions are amazing!
2:57 I would pay to watch a movie about happy clay man getting his morning coffee
They all have this Incredibles, MegaMind, Overwatch and Hotel Trancilvaina vibe. It's kinda cool.
Well they use actual voice clips from movies/ shows
Mr. Incredible never talked about his brothers various war crimes
2:56 literally got me, I swear the god, that was pure gold right there xd
2:45
Awesome animated version of Sam Witwicky!!!✨
1:57 was really short, but really well done.
The first one could have been a teaser for _incredibles 3 the aftermath_
Wish I could’ve seen 2:21 finishes! Love the animation style.
They couldve finished it, because the rest of the song exists. The song itself being in the Netflix series "A Series Of Unfortunate Events"
The guy at like 2:20 reminds me so much of Markiplier it's crazy
Also the song is super catchy lol
Minus Reborn The song is from “A Series Of Unfortunate Events” which is a show on Netflix
TBSE it’s pretty good show
Julien Grimsley I know right
@@tbse4196 Ah I've heard of it, good to know 👍
Minus Reborn I’ve been binge watching it for hours, now that the final season just came out yesterday
Please tell me where I can find the sound bite for 1:56 It's bugging me so much
@@bombkirby Thanks bud.
@@COYOTEMAN18 Yeah, that was pretty deep...
this was bugging me so much not because of the thing that was said it was the voice that i recognized...it took me forever to figure out that the voice is Fionna from adventure time
Lol that’s why I came to comments
1:13 has to be my favorite part- if that was a movie, 10000/10 would watch immediatly
I love seeing these animations y’all do with Pixar level animating, every single clip in here feels like it’s alive with a surprising amount detail into their expressions and the movements, it’s all great stuff.
3:00 lol this was really funny xD
Where was it from again??
Omg I could not stop laughing

Amazing display of hard work and great entertainment. AnimSchool does it once again!
oml i love the squash and stretch affect on the second one, its just, perfect, the characters are perfectly described with literally less than half a minute of time. literally great, i love to see how these people upgrade every year, its remarkable and very inspiring for me :>
These are so well done.
And the "that was three weeks of work" was personal.
"3:12" showing my work to friends... hahah...
0:00 Bob your in the wrong studio your supposed to be in Pixar
1:56 This feels like it's from an actual film
0:27
After that rare skin condition, Mr.Clean had a tough time...
1:20 Robin Williams back from the dead.
Yessirrr
They get better and better every year. I just did a mini binge watch of the last few years... incredible talent.
4:20 is my fave
2:45 I'd actually rather see a transformers movie with this style and g1 character designs and personalities
0:18 would totally watch that
The House of Freaks one gave me flashbacks to my Series of Unfortunate Events phase
YAAAAA TALE OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS YESSS
Every animation here looks amazing, congrats to every animator in the video
so much emotion and depth behind the characters, truly amazing animators.
This is seriously good animation. So many varying speeds, great poses and most importantly they all feel alive. Great job!
Oh also, that Saul Latorre. That would be an interesting picture to check out. Either as a short or maybe even an entire movie :D
2:20 that 3d model is *THICC*
Some of these are amazing, I would love to see the complete versions.
I honestly adored the second one and i’d love to see a longer clip or an actual film on it!
0:27 me tries to declare for my crush
All the animation I'm seeing here is so delightfully reminiscent of Genndy Tartakovsky. In other words, this is the most traditionally cartoony stuff I've seen from 3D CGI in quite some time
and 4:37 is 100% Bob Parr
2:56 This is actually funnier than he original
0:24 “dude man” shoulder roll like in Hotel Transylvania
Diego Oliva and Saul Latorre's was AMAZING. So expressive, perfectly timed, tons of detail, etc.
I swear, I keep coming back to this video because of this 0:18
I freaking love how they used a Dr. Horibble song
2:45 the audio is from Transformers when bumblebee drove away on its own
Every. Single. One of these deserves a movie! I want to know all their stories.
I like how the reuse of models can be interpreted as a bunch of drama kids in a backyardigans style show
what is the audio from 1:56 from in this? It's an interesting line of dialogue
Californication S2Ep7 - In a Lonely Place (24m 09s)
Sergei Patrakov Wow, thanks Sergei! Amazing work by the way!
@@WillJukebox Thank you man! I'm glad you like it ;)
I love these animations soo much! They keep Improving more and more through the years, keep the good work!
Wow
This was

Very entertaining
possibly my favorite thing I’ve seen as an ad on UA-cam
Bruh the second clip is literally Megamind's second act
I love that every inch of Animation has a personality
Waw that was incredibly original and dynamic!! Well done Animschool!
The Dr. Horribles scene was magnificent!
Wonderful. They are all beautiful. Congratulations to those who have had the skill (and patience) to make such scenes.
2:21
The audio is from the series:
A series of unfortunate events.
is no one gonna talk about how adorable and good the animation at 4:20 is?
Yeah it's amazing
Lol that one with the guy who likes butter should be a meme XD
I could be very wrong, but these animation showcases appear to be about just that: the Animating. Not the sculpting or designing of characters, just the puppeteering. This appears to showcase so many similar looking designs that it doesn't seem like difference art styles but rather different models from the database.
And that's totally fine, especially since most animation work will be in 3D, and most of the work in 3D movies is the movement of the puppets. It encourages me to try out 3D animating without having to worry about making the character first look good.
