There was very little promotion for the race. We are local racers and are in and out of bike shops pretty regular. We heard no radio spots , no news coverage before or after the race. Pretty sad for a professional series. The marketing people should be replaced.

those are some mighty empty stands for a pro flat-track final. gotta wonder how they make it with ticket sales like that.
They charge 70 bucks for a mechanic to enter pits, plus license fees. They make plenty.

Class of 79' does more yearly than AFT or AMA has ever done. This sport is not professionally run.
