Best vid I've seen on caulking and it's nice to watch a master perform his task.

Thank you! This is a tough substrate to get right and I see a lot of guys/gals ignore it

I know you didn't intend this to be a tutorial, but you just helped me make my dining room look amazing. Putting up beadboard and a chair rail are my first real projects as a new homeowner and it came out great, thanks for the video

Great tips. You said this is for pros, but I’m a diy guy and going to use your tips. No reason these can’t apply to a handy homeowner :-)

Nice to see someone else takes the time to do this procedure correctly. I've been doing it this way for 49 years. Nice upload Adam.

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised to know that as an amateur DIY guy I've been using these techniques for years just out of what seemed to be common sense. I never dreamed a pro would wipe off excess with his finger and use wet rags. I just thought us DIY guys did that kind of stuff. Great video.

Thanks a lot. I’ve been staring at this MDF beadboard, terrified to begin finishing it! Looks like you used the real stuff! So, you painted it first?

Yes I would seal it up and sand it before you push forward with the caulking

Wetting the caulk and your finger with water and a tad bit of soap in a spray bottle before you wipe it will help keep it clean
