8:33 Seeing the Canadian Pacific Holiday train in real was a treat that holds a deep meaning for me. I was able to see it twice actually, the second time it was roaring by to go to its next town I was very excited! I was hoping it would be on this channel and I’m glad it is! Mr. Corkyn I salute you! 🫡🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I love the CP Holiday train. The kids cheering is so heartwarming, never hear that much anymore for a train. Imagine being the engineer It must be so nice to feel that feeling that all these people are here just to watch *you* go by on *your* train
I missed the holiday train this year when it came through Detroit from Windsor 😞I saw it last year for the first time. They had just brought it back. It had stopped for some years due to Covid. I plan on going yearly as long as it continues to run. Thx Virtual Railfan for capturing it this year 🙂
Loved seeing the 3 No. Pressureaide Hoppers at Austell - I like them so much I have collected 9 No. for my layout. At Santa Fe Jct. with a sunset backwash, the angle of the Train was perfect. Great to see the Christmas Holiday Trains again - I can't believe a whole year has nearly passed-by.
@4:18 Looks like a hot box on that car. @8:52 to 10:07 That Holiday Train in Elkhart, IN was Too Cool!!! Then @11:28 CSX version of the Holiday train in Cordele, GA. Glad to see the railroads getting into the Holiday Spirit!! Peace on Earth and Good Will to All People!
Oh Joe, you guys have outdone yourselves on this one!! I stayed up to watch the Holiday Train come through Elkhart--thank you VR for the cam!--and here I got to see it again plus that lovely furry fox, about a zillion birds over that light-show train in Galesburg, the amazing parade reflection in Fort Madison, and that exquisite ending in Arvada. Wow, wow, wow and thank you!!! 🌹
Thank you for the kind words. All of us at VRF know we have the best railfans in the world and we strive to give them the best entertainment that we can.
I absolutely love the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train! Wish an American (USA) railroad would do the same for us especially here in Denver! The rest of the "Grab Bag" is very good as usual. Thank you for the upload and sharing!!
Bravo! Here at Melvindale, Michigan, the train was expected around 830, but didn't get there until almost 11pm. Add to that, my video camera popped out.
After the Holiday Train reaches Detroit after coming through the tunnel under the Detroit river, they stop in Allen Park I think and one of the cars has a drop down stage and they usually have some musical performance and then they move on their way.
Made a comment just now; doesn't seem to have gone through. a definite Like! Loved the Winterlights train of course. If you want to see a British winterlights train, look up ADMIRAL SCORNER video: THE WSR WINTERLIGHTS TRAIN LIGHTS UP 19 NOVEMBER 2023 Liked the fox and planes too! 👍👍👍👍

Without a Doubt that Xmas Special Train is Brilliant and being in Australia forgive me if that isn't the name of the Train and as One Person has already commented on being Great Video, Loads of Work Put In, Really Excellant Stuff.
17:38 Prior to 9/11, when I needed a "mental health day" to decompress, I would go to the airport and sit on the concourse. I would watch planes take off and land while also watching people getting on and off planes. Now, you basically can't get beyond the ticket counter without a ticket. Sigh.
What are those in the sky at end of video. Planes don't usually fly that close. I went with a friend to Winnipeg CPKC concert. What a fun time. Abd I touched 2249 for the camera. 😊
VR Grab Bag is the only place to see trains around the countryside my favorite areas are Oklahoma my home state, LaGrange, KY, Ashland, VA, Elkhart, IN, Deshler, OH and LaPlata, MO.🇺🇲🇨🇦🇺🇲🇨🇦 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲🇨🇦💨
Cudos to Mr. Corkyn for staying up all morning, working the camera, to get us the shots of the CP holiday train!!
Way to represent ELKHART, INDIANA "City with a Heart" - rock on!!!!!
It very nice that Canadian Pacific Holiday Train came by though Elkhart
The flights leaving Denver looked like angels.
Sweet!
Taking off against a background of Orion.
They brought to mind Windows XP Screensaver, "Starfield" - which was always my favourite.
The chorus of an old Slaughter song comes to mind, if one ignores the sad theme
Canadian Pacific did an outstanding job on the holiday train. Thank was wonderful. Thank you 😊

Moved back to New York State in the early century. Saw the CP Holiday train live a few times. A class act.
That CPKC holiday train is beautiful
I love the CP Holiday train. The kids cheering is so heartwarming, never hear that much anymore for a train. Imagine being the engineer It must be so nice to feel that feeling that all these people are here just to watch *you* go by on *your* train
I found this as a noise and traffic nuisance. It is crock and it is for kids I am trying to get it from no longer stopping in our community
The Holiday Train came through my hometown this Morning.
What a pretty fox!
Great grab bag Mike! Glad to see the CP holiday train back in its runs!

LOL! Have a great holiday.
I love that CP still does this, awesome!
I've seen a lot in 70 years so I'm not easily impressed. But the sight of the CP Holiday Train was very inspiring.
That hill behind the Amtrak train at Santa Fe Junction in KC was a good spot to watch trains.
The Musical Arvada Airport! Awesome !
Bravo! Here at Melvindale, Michigan, the train was expected around 830, but didn't get there until almost 11pm. Add to that, my video camera popped out.
11:28 CSX Christmas Train!! ❤
thank you for calling it a Christmas train instead of a holiday train
They had to slap 1827 on the front because one of the F-units crapped out on them. Lol.
Great job of the mod for the bank shot on the Holiday Parade Train, in Ft. Madison, it wasn't on the rails, but a train it was
Well, that was cool! The CP holiday train rolled through my town Milo, in Maine, and I missed the thing. This was nice to see.
Counting the parade, that's THREE holiday trains in one Grab Bag! Great edition - really showing off the channel.

Yep! Pretty much, I agree.
The car had plenty of room to maneuver out of the way.
