Thank you so much for putting that monitor link in the description. Not only can I do this from a click of my mouse, but I also figured out that 6500k is the best color temperature and I could do that in that application because my monitor didn't have that setting!
The color segment didnt really help at all. What is the difference between RGB, YCbCr444/420 - 8,10,12 bit? How do you configure HDR properly so you can still see detail in dark and bright spaces? How do you set it up so the colors blend into each other so you dont see like "steps" when a color fluently changes into another shade of the same color?
Alex! There is something amazing here. You are infinitely brilliant in your videos. I watch and wonder if there is a teleprompter in front of you, but I quickly realize all the information and wisdom just flows from you. How do you do it? It has to be a gifted mind that is paired with an enthusiastic and obviously great personality. You must be wildly popular at university. Thanks buddy for another spectacular time viewing.
Just got the LG 32" GQ950-B I don't have a calibration tool, but setting it by eye, this thing is Awesome. Best monitor out if you don't want a OLED widescreen. I don't like curved or widescreen.
@@yasinyarar6611 Look at Rtings site and they have a really good starting point. Under calibrated. They do have it dark, feel free to increase brightness while keeping their other settings and you should be pretty happy.
Hi! I’m building a gaming pc and have an i7-12700k, nvidia GEForce rtx 3080 and 32GB DDR4 memory. Would you be able to advise if this would achieve high frame rates 150+ with 1440p? And noticed in your video the LG monitor which is what I’ll be using. Is this good with these specs? Thanks
That entirely depends on the game and what settings you use. That setup will very likely run 90%+ of games at ultra settings and over 150 frames. Newer games on ultra (BF 2042, Warzone 2, Warhammer Darktide etc.) will not go over 150 on ultra.
I have a BenQ zowie xl2411k that I just bought for my PS5 to play competitive CoD vanguard. I haven’t had a monitor in over a decade, what would you recommend my settings be? I can’t find any help about it anywhere for only using the gaming monitor to play Comp CoD vanguard
Dont use G sync. Causes input lag. And have a good balance between brightness and contrast. For competitive call of duty, the lower the better so it wont over-saturate gameplay. Same with sharpness, the least amount you can use without going overboard
i have a question. im trying to get 1ms on my Ips monitor with VRB, and when i turn it to Normal, does that count as on because im not sure its fully on when i turn it to the normal mode, and will it give me 1ms
Just to point out "Turn off mouse acceleration as the faster you move the mouse, the faster the mouse accelerates", that would be mouse jerk, not mouse acceleration.
nice video mate, i have the LG 27GP850-B 27" 165Hz QHD but when i use display port i get washedout colors with 165hz and if i go back to hdmi i get punchy colors with 144hz cap. anyone knows how to fix this?
@cristianopinto8980 yes and no, the issue seems to be 8 bit and 10 bit. 8 bit makes it punchy, 10 bit makes it washed. I tried to use the display port and select 8 bit thru my gpu driver but it didn't help. If u got multiple cables, try 165hz and 8 bit.
I got this monitor, and im curious, whats with the black edges? Its about 1/4 inch on the top and sides, it doesn't go to the edges of the monitor frame - as in your video.
Not to hard to figure out how to set up. Yall got to research more as there are plenty apon plenty of videos to get going. Sounds like you just wanna face time

No mention of HDR or Extreme Low Motion Blur.

There’s a couple different models that look very similar but aren’t the same. This is the 27” 1080 option.

Is there another way to reset the monitor if you can't see the OSD?
