Have a nice day and keep up the good work!
I watch a lot of content on this monitor, too, and it looks good but if you get too far away, the VA panels viewing angles can start to look weird. Or else if you're in a bright room, the HDR won't be bright enough. Otherwise, good!

Does your monitor support what you’re trying to over HDMI? Check the manual for supported resolutions.
Non-Vesa timings have caused a lot of issues…
All sorted thanks guys! I had to turn off that sync setting on the monitor to allow my Xbox to run at those settings.
@@saltyricecake1373 still doesn’t work for me, I cannot get 1440p at 120hz. Even when I turn off those settings
@@connorjohannes8311 can’t do that on console, it’s 1080p 120hz I believe
I have Lg 24gn600-b ultragear for my ps5 but it's really blurry I need to turn on motion blur reduce
Hi Justin, this video has helped alot as I usually play FPS games!! I do however play story mode games on the odd occasion and would love if you could drop a video on what settings would be best to have on my ps5 and this monitor to get a better visual experience for games such as the last of us part 2.
Use ur tv i have four k tv nd 1440 165hz
My problem is my volume say I have headphones on when I don't how I fix that
hi! great video. since the links in the desc arent working, i just wanna ask.
so, Im on a tighter budget, so would the LG 24GN650-B be a good option? they look the same but this one is bigger
Yes, that's a great alternative or this MSI: geni.us/JRMG240
Sound how do u turn on sound
Plug in speakers or headphones. No built in speakers.
How do you adjust the hz for this monitor? I just bought it from Costco and it’s stuck on 60. I’m on ps5 too btw.
It would be within the PS5 settings not the monitor I believe.
MEEE TOOOO exactly from Costco too
It’s the PS5 not letting you get the frames, not the monitor. I’ve learned the hard way
Finally straight to the point, thank you
So you keep the HDR off on your ps5 and do this manually? Like if I keep my ps5 HDR automatic for some reason won't let me do the set up thanks
if i set my ps5 video settings to automatic.. my 1080 screen say, that im on 4k resolutsion ? thats not possible right? i got the lg24gn600, but when i turn 1080p on in my settings, i see more pixels... weirdd shit
Any additional settings for the 32GN600-B (The QHD 1440p variant) ??
Not that I'm aware of! Should be pretty similar.
how to change the frequency mine shows 60 hz but it shd be capable of 144 hz
Thanks for the review, but one thing I noticed on first day of this monitor that it heats up from the bottom, but when I lowered the frequency to 75 Hz its temperature got normal, so is there anything else that can solve this heat up problem, you haven't talked about it in the video..thanks again
All screens heat up has yours got an active fan ? what monitor do you have il look into it.
The fan on this monitor is in the back its a sorround fan but there isnt a fan in the button that really doesnt matter it doesnt and never will affect anything this is normal as long as you dont keep the monitor on 24/7.
@@MoreMoe202 Thanks, I usually use it 3-4 hrs a day, on the first day I was testing it with different frequencies, and I found this problem when it was set to maximum frequency of 144 Hz and even on 120 Hz and I haven't encountered this problem in my previous monitors, so it gave me a doubt of getting faulty piece that's why I searched for this problem, anyways thanks again both..
I wonder if i should return the one i have and get the one with g-sync? It's like $100 more. I'm not sure if it's going to make a big enough difference to worry about? I'm using a RTX 4070 super. Amd/ Ryzen 5 5600. Msi b550 plus motherboard.
i just ordered the new LG 24GN650 B .. said the response is 1ms vs this one being at 5ms.. its a bit smaller but should be fine
*switched gears and went with the 27GN650 B which is the bigger brother Amazon says they both were released January 28, 2021... Waitin for this delivery tho 🙄
Thanks dude! My monitor just got here and I been playing around with settings it's seem to be quite dark / dim like even the home screen on the ps5 is quite dark. Any ideas. Cheers in advance 🤙
Try disabling HDR on the PS5 and see if that helps brighten it up. If you can crank the brightness, crank it allll the way up.
You can put the contrast higher to
Why us there a
B version of the monitor and one without the b behind the 850
How did you get it 120? I've got the same model and it's stuck on 60hz for some reason...?
im having the same issue
me tooo have u figures it out?
turn on freesync, it worked for me on xbox
Turn off HDR on the console and set at 1080p. Once you start playing a game that supports 120fps, your monitor will go black then it should switch to 120fps by itself
It’s the same with my ps5. Series x can play it at 120 no problem
What do I do if the 24gno50w doesn’t turn on for me xbox series s go to the store and get another or do something else
Yeah a lot of these settings are self-explanatory, but what I found helpful was that I was using certain settings on wayyyy too high values. sharpness for example.
past 50 sharpness it doesn't really change much.
you clearly dont know what you are saying
My settings for contrast gamma and everything are blacked out except brightness and sharpness. Can somebody help im on ps5
i found it out you have to turn the monitor on just by itself and go to the settings with the button on the bottom and then you can change more
If the freesync option says “extended” is it on or it means it’s not compatible? I see in your monitor it says “on”
One question, I have this monitor I thought it had built in speakers , well it doesn't for me. So I had gotten speakers for Christmas when I plug them into my ps5 it doesn't translate noice even when I unplug my headset from the monitor. And I can't plug them into the monitor.
Why can’t you plug your speakers into the monitor’s headphone jack. I do that.
@@JustinReves when I do that my speakers deny come on
@@stxx_philly If you can plug headphones in and they work but speakers plugged into the same headphone jack don't, then I'd guess there's something wrong with the speakers.
Hey Justin, greetings from Finland!
Thank you for a great video, i have been hunting a good VA-panel monitor for a while.
Have you tried how the monitor handles movies and tv-series from a PC?
Does it accept 24p video signal and play it judder free? I guess It could be possible if the monitor keeps 120hz settings while playing 24p video?
If it plays videos smoothly then its a real treat.
Have a nice day and keep up the good work!
I watch a lot of content on this monitor, too, and it looks good but if you get too far away, the VA panels viewing angles can start to look weird. Or else if you're in a bright room, the HDR won't be bright enough. Otherwise, good!
Where I can buy a new power cord for my monitor
If I want to have the lowest input delay possible, what should I do? You know, to have better reaction time
Set the monitor's game mode setting to "FPS".
Also, if you're using a controller, use it wired.
I have the LG 32GN63T it’s at 60hz. How do I change it to 120hz?
If your monitor still doesn't look good, maybe it's time for an upgrade? Here's my top picks:
Next-Gen Console HDR Gaming BEAST (my personal monitor): amzn.to/3ob01FX
4K/120hz HDMI 2.1 monitor: amzn.to/3KFaYYi
Great budget 1440p gaming monitor: amzn.to/3zUrmyR
How come my menu is over 50% turned off?
Can't go to color temp, sharpness, R/G/B and more things.
Basicly everything in "Picture adjust" is off execpt brightness and contrast.
All the other menu's are fully accesable.
Because HDR is on and overrides all those settings.
@@JustinReves Thanks for the reply. No its off. Also on windows 10.
I Just bought this monitor, I connected it to my PS4 I can’t use the black stabilizer option, did you know why ?
when im playing games and i move my mouse i see color outlines a bit how do i fix this (its either blue red or yellow)

How do I connect my monitor speakers? For some reason it isn’t giving any sound

Man My Brothers Monitor Doesn't Have Auido Like when Your Not Using Headphones
Any Thing than can solve it?
So I have this exact monitor set up to my ps5 and I’m trying to use the speakers on the monitor but when I try to change the volume level it’s a headphone icon instead of a audio icon any help???
The monitor in this video doesn’t have built in speakers. You have to plug some in or use headphones.
Thank you🎉🎉🎉 this helped me fill my desire to play games🎉❤🎉
My monitor shows that it’s only at 60 HZ and I do have a Xbox series S, how can I get it up to 120 hz
i cant access resolution its just greyed out so is aspect ratio and configuration adjust how can i fix this ??????
Your console or computer will decide the resolution and aspect ratio. If you want a different resolution, change it on the console or computer.
Hey you have any idea why I can’t adjust mine? Under picture adjust everything is greyed out and can’t click on anything except brightness? Thanks
HDR is on.
How do I get my Logitech z313 to work with it ? When my Xbox one is plugged in from the hdmi I can’t hear sound it’s like the hdmi won’t transfer it ?
Guys I got a question how do you turn on the audio cuz it doesn’t have no audio pls someone
No speakers. Plug in headphones or speakers.
How I can on 1ms motion blur with my ps4 with lg gl650b
Help me plz
My lg gn550 not work 120hz, i don't know if only on dp port or is the games i have MK11 and rainbow six extraction, but only 60hz the monitor say 165hz but maybe is not for hdmi
120hz will work if you have a device that supports 120hz (like a PS5 set in Performance Mode instead of Resolution mode which prioritizes 120hz instead of 4K) and a game that supports 120hz (like Warzone)
hi, can you help me what will be the settings for warzone caldera for MSI OPTIX G27CQ4 as find very reddish/orange environment and cant find the right mixtures of the settings. im using RTX 3060 btw, thanks!
Help !
I’ve got the 32GN63T with my PS5 and the pic sucks. What setting will help me if this monitor will even work for me ?
For me the monitor doenst show more the Black stabilzer after i used the displayport, before this, the HDMI had worked, but i cant now.
Random question is there a way to hear the audio of the monitor without a headset
Plug in speakers to the headphone jack. No speakers built in.
Thank you so much
I on a PS4 and can’t change some of them settings if I was to get a PS5 or a PC would I be able to change them
Just check if HDR is on on your PS4. HDR overrides a lot of these settings.
hey I need help!, I’ve just gotten this monitor and didn’t come with a compatible hdmi to display port cable. So I bought one and now it’s saying that’s there’s an incorrect DisplayPort version setting! How do I fix it this!!
Just curious why not just use an HDMI cable?
Any chance you know how to fix the problem where it shuts off the monitor by itself but leaves my PC on and it turns my keyboard and mic off too kinda resets everything
Mots of my settings in picture adjust won't work, why?
HDR is on.
@@JustinReves is hdr make the quality better or no? I just started elden ring and it looks kind of poor for me
@@Suumac_ it really depends on the content. HDR is usually darker so I don’t recommend it for a bright room. If you don’t like how it looks, turn it off.
Hey y’all, so is it better to have FreeSync off for better performance and less delay?
Hey. Could I have some help please, I have this for my series s. I play mainly fortnite and it’s awful. The monitor picture feels so delayed resulting me in losing every game. Should I upgrade my hdmi cable. Or return it because people say it’s capped at 100hz, and that free sync makes your game delayed. I need some help please because I don’t want to really have to get another monitor
Man my monitor is stuck on 60hz how can i change this
I have the same LG ultragear monitor. Often, I have random laggy movements in games. They are very minor, but it messes up my aim. At first I thought my pc was having some issues, but with my older MSI 144hz monitor it was way smoother. Could it really be that the monitor is broken, although it is showing 144hz?
I need a lot of help I got the same monitor as you but I've never had one and when I opened it and plugged it in it was on mirror mode I think because one side is upside down and one side is regular so can you help me go to my settings like how do I push the button
