Linda, if you're reading this, everytime I hear your voice, my heart melts into love and your beautiful persona. Thank you for what you have contributed to everyone's lives. Peace and Love to you.
NEVER will there ever be a talent such as her. To me, she was the voice of my youth. I saw her in the late 60s in L.A. and fell in love with her... along with 30 million other guys!! She certainly didn’t deserve Parkinson's, but life is what it is. You have to play the cards you’ve been dealt. Love you, Linda
In the oftentimes brutal and petty world of entertainment, Linda always took the high road. Classy woman and incredible talent. She was and remains my all time favorite female singer. My best to you Linda . . . there are many people who love you.
My partner has Parkinson's Disease. It is a cruel condition to find oneself in after a life of activity. It's good to see Linda in such good spirits. Her music has always been inspirational.
You ARE my favorite female singer ever. I am around your age and was always amazed by your extreme beauty! It's cool you like recent singers, not me. I'm stuck back in love with 60s and 70s...the music, 50 years old, people recognize today. Thank you for being part of that. You are so loved, Linda!
When I was a teenager Long, Long Time was the first song I heard by Linda Ronstadt and it was so poignant it made me cry. Afterwards I was a fan. God bless Linda Ronstadt...
I was so fortunate to get to me her in 1978 at a Navy Ship change of command ceremony in Long Beach CA. Her cousin was my last commanding office before I left the Navy in 1979. I owned very album that she had recorded at that time and enjoyed giving her a tour of her cousin's first Ship that he commanded. I still beat myself up for not taking any pictures with her. :-(
Linda Ronstadt was and will always be an amazing talent with her lush voice. I will always thank Linda Ronstadt for helping her long time friend, the late, Great, Phoebe Snow push through the grief of loosing her daughter, Valerie Rose. Because of Linda Ronstadt, Phoebe got back out there and created an exquisite live album before she herself passed away. The duets these two brilliant artists complied were second to none. Thank you Ms. Ronstadt for your gifts, genius and generous heart.
When she sings blue bayou I get teary eyed and when I sing along with her I’m often reminded of my mother and family members who died so long agp - Linda is truly a living legend.

I like the singer also from Chocolate drops, she is good
So very sad that this had to happen to the voice of a generation. At least she is able to keep her sense of humot. Thank you so much Linda for sharing your incredible talent with us. You truly touched a lot of lives with your music. So many great memories from an extremely classy lady. God Bless
First and foremost I would like to say to Linda thank you for making me and my family lives a little better in the 70's and 80's and there after. My mom and dad listened to your beautiful music in our station wagon in the 70's living in Oxnard California and me being a little boy loved to hear my mom sing to me your beautiful songs Linda and again thank you for writing such unforgettable songs that will always be a part of my growing up with all my family listening to your music Linda I will pray for you and your family con much carino garcias.
Thankful to have been on the planet at the same time as Linda and her magical voice. Wise witness and muse to an interesting scene. She made it out alive and doesn't kiss and tell. How rare -
I love her and she captivated me for sure. What she is going through with Parkinson's is painful. She is a legend, regardless of her condition. We all get old and lose those talents we used to have. I love you, Linda.
A most humble pin-up and superstar. Vocalist extraordinare and the object of affection for most musicians of the 70s/80s scene. She's still an unusual charmer.
It is heartbreaking to see someone so loved by so many stricken, but in Ms. Ronstadt's case it seems we all are deprived of a phenomenal talent, the face and voice of an angel taken from us all, including Linda.
Forget the legend of the treasure of the Lost Dutchman's Mine, One of Arizona's treasures has been right in front of y'all all the time, Linda Ronstadt
I have listened to her singing since late 70's I believe and still listen to her music nowadays. She still has some greats hits in my opinion and has a large variety of ways and some songs just hit me in the right spot on how I am feeling and keeps me going.
Bless her heart! She’s such a wonderful, insightful, and brave lady. Always loved her singing and her music. I’m glad she is sharing and speaking about the struggle with her illness.
She was my first husbands girl in 1976 the year we got married. He decide to settle for me instead, she was too far away in the states and he was in Scotland UK. Lol
I've always been such a huge fan and this interview just proves to me why. She's humble, funny, generous, intelligent. I wish she'd invite me over to her house for tea! #LindaRocks
She seems to be a lovely warm human being ! Many thanks for giving the world - or at least all those who will listen - some beautiful music to treasure ! Good wishes from Ely in England , and thank you ! Dave
Loved her voice from the first time I heard her in the 60’s and have owned every record, 8 track and CD of her songs. I credit my love of all types of music to her
This was an excellent interview. So heartwarming to read all of your comments The fall of 2019 has been a Linda Ronstadt lovefest, what with the documentary released in Sept.(and debuting on TV on New Year's Day on CNN) and the Kennedy Center Honors in early December. Hope she has truly absorbed how the realization of her personal dream and ambitions contributed so much to the music world and our emotional lives. Her acceptance of her fate reminds me very much of how the delightful and delicious Teri Garr has dealt with multiple sclerosis. Both possess humility and humor in abundance. When I am feeling wistful and melancholy about Ms. Ronstadt's inability to sing or blue in general, I turn to her for comfort. My go-to songs are: -Too Old to Die Young from Adieu False Heart with Ann Savoy -All I Know recorded in 2010 with Jimmy Webb -When I Grow to Old to Dream from her appearance on the Muppet Show
i am so blessed to say she was the sound track to my life in the 70's and 80's and i bet nobody remembers she was *THE* most successful female artist of the 70's and gave The Eagles their start ..not to mention she was as sexy and hot as any women could get..
Trev Mac: You were not the only young adult living in America in the 1970s. We remember that the guys in her band (after the Stone Ponys) left to form the Eagles. Many of us had/have every album Linda Ronstadt ever released. We remember and love her friends such as Jackson Brown, JD Souther, the Eagles, EmmyLou Harris, Crosby, Stills and Nash & CSN & Young, Neil Young, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and so many more great musicians that emerged from the L.A. & San Francisco music scenes in the 70s and 80s.
Wow. To grow up listening to her, and only recently in my mid 50's start really learning about her, through media like this, is haunting! Time slips away doesn't it? :(
Linda is my crush of the greatest era ever And still is in my heart ❤️ performance idol ! I grew up listening to her and I will listen to her music for ever... Thank you 🙏 Linda

Linda was the highest-paid singer in around 1978! She had a long career, a vivacious girl with a huge talent. Peace and healing to you, Linda!
Even with Parkinson's she still sounds fantastic! I never could make it to the Merle fest to hear her live because of my "brilliant career" as a trucker. We truckers were sortalike " prisoners in disguise" , trapped in those damn trucks. But we we thank this beautiful vocalist for getting us through many long nights on the road! I had every tape she ever made. How nice she is to help others know more about Parkinson's!
Will always love her! I'm going to cry, but she left us so much and deserves being honored for her great music of which will live on forever. Would go see her talk if she ever comes to Indy. I think her work for Parkinson's is so great too. She is a brave and giving person.❤❤

She was always so smart and even now it comes across so clearly ... her gift remains alive in her recordings and videos and that will remain a testament to her talent. God bless you Linda for giving so much ...
Glad to see she doesn't wallow in self pity and focuses on what she CAN do. Smart enough to be reading Christopher Hitchens. Best wishes for you, Linda Ronstadt! Thank you for your musical contributions!
Who is still here in 2020 for this legend?
Somewhere out there is my favorite.
