I recently picked up a 4 post with the plate-loaded lat pulldown/low row, seal row pad, spotter arms, dip station, and stabilizer feet (just in case, I don't want to bolt it down). In retrospect, the feet are likely unnecessary with the lat pulldown on the back.
This thing is built like a tank and I'm really enjoying it thus far. The lat pulldown works well, but I do wish the pulley for the low row was slightly higher off the ground to allow for more clearance for my handles over my legs/knees and a more horizontal pull. Not a deal breaker for me though.
Once you've gone mag pin you'll never want to go back. No big handle sticking out and no hairpin cotter pins to worry about. All of the attachments came with uhmw plastic around the attachment points to protect the rack except for the bar with the leg/knee pad for the lat pulldown. It looks like the lat pulldown might be shared between both the hydra and manticore. That bar has no UHMW and standard hitch pins instead of the mag pins which is slightly disappointing as I am installing/removing that bar at least a couple times per week. I may look at ordering some extra mag pins and adding some UHMW tape around the connection points on the bar. Maybe a later iteration will come with those options.
As a side note, the plate loaded lat pulldown uses almost all the same parts as the weight stack and can apparently be upgraded to the weight stack at a later date (I asked the question on their website). I know most people suggest "buy once cry once", but if you're budget just doesn't allow for it and you really want a lat pulldown sooner than later, it's an option at least.
Really appreciate the honest review here of our manticore power rack! We hope it's serving you long and well, and we will be 100% taking this advice to continue to improve in the future.

Patiently waiting for the integrated functional trainer / Lat pulldown / Low row similar to the Rep offerings. I don’t have space for both a rack and functions trainer so two separate pieces or the option shown here with a cable tower attached to the side is not an option for me.

@@BELLSOFSTEELI think adding an attachment for the pulleys so that they can be extended to be larger than the rack would make it better than the competition (and better than most functional trainers). Most rack functional trainers are way too narrow. I’m excited to see the products that you guys have been teasing, you really have been killing it.

Installed my 6 post this weekend. Haven’t gotten a full lift in yet. But love it so far. True Hight isn’t 90” though. Ceiling Hight is 92” and the top of the post rub

I've been using the six post manticore for about a month now and I absolutely love it. The only negative thing i could say after a month is that I wish the option for a wider rack was available. At 43", the uprights/j cups are right where i like my hands for low bar squats. Other than that, this thing has been a tank. All of the attachments are top notch with uhmw in the right spots
The most amazing part of the process to me was how this was shipped. It came together on a single pallet and the packaging of each box was well thought out and carefully put together. Not a single thing was damaged in transit. Not a single scratch
All of that being said, before this rack was available you guys were promoting the crap out of it. Now, I barley see anything about it or attachments for it in your social media. Are you no longer pushing this product? Are you going to discontinue it? I hope not

We are definitely not discontinuing the Manticore, if anything it's going on stronger than ever.
We're just focusing our promotion efforts towards other growth products as the Manticore is chugging along smoothly now.

That lat pulldown manticore will fit on my rogue RM 6 rack
It should fit any rack that's a true 3x3 with 1 inch holes with similar spacing to ours.
Not gonna lie, bit upset that there is a huge delay on Manticore parts... love seeing BOS succeed, but as a customer it's a bummer.

Have you put any thought into something similar to the REP cable belt squat for their PR4000/5000 racks?
That's something we are looking into as we are working on more attachments!
What is the Dip attachment storage upright in the video? Is it a custom one or its available in your store?
Keyhole design is nice but it's on the side? What good is attaching a J-Cup on the side of the rack and not the front where I'm actually racking the bar??
We intended to do so but upon further testing we found the fit of our attachments on sides with keyholes to be looser. To ensure safety and overall strength of our attachments we had to keep the holes in the front normal. So the main attachments we want to make sure it fits snug and secure, and so we intended the keyhole on the sides are for more less used attachments.
Is there an ETA on when mag pins would be available for Hydra?
Its all in the works as we speak hopefully in a few months we can get it to yall!
