Phantom bad day for me usually means I am coming down with something. Like this week, felt really exhausted after Mon session, was sick by Weds.

RPE really good for fatigue management. But I actually find weight ranges to be better at prescribing loads. It relates to RPE cuz based off your level of readiness you can either stick to the low end of the range, shoot for the high end or even over, or stick right in the middle of the range which imo will happen a majority of the time. I'm starting my second block with this approach and I really like it and it really puts RPE in a manageable context and takes alot of the guess work and error out.

For sure, RPE is great but pure RPE with no plan on top of it isn’t great

100%. Only caveat is u gotta realize when it’s appropriate to sometimes take a weight that’s under the lower range on super bad days and stick to the prescribed rpe

Excellent video! What do you think about commenting on the next video about self-coaching? I would like to know your perspective on the advantages, disadvantages, and if it's worth it.

Im definitely in Favor of sharing the long term plan with the athlete. But for me the most simple way to make sure athletes dont overshoot on days they were not supposed to, is to write the weights for them and not let them guess what an RPE 5 is.

Hey, Rondel, I always enjoy your videos, especially your programing ones, so thanks for making another one. I do have a question: I have a chronic SI joint dysfunction problem and have to be meticulous with my deadlift setup. But do you have any tips to help keep the lower back from rounding during deadlifts? I know that you also have a back problem, so I didn't know if you had any advice. Either way, keep up the great work, man.

What about deload weeks? Do you program them as well (like you put a deload week between every block), or you simply deload when you feel like?

What do you think about phase potentiation (hypertrophie, strength, peaking)? I love your videos very good content and enjoyable.

I have questions about the total specialist program but I can’t reach you on instagram so here is the next best option. So is the top set for every day the first line on that day and then you progress down until the accessories accordingly? That would mean W6 D1 bench single and D4 deadlifts single comes after the respective top set of 3? And lastly W11 D2 Squats it’s a Top single and the a triple @4 then @5? Not @5 then @4?
