Grace and peace/shalom.....consider these verses perhaps: 🙏🙌
Genesis 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. -
Psalm 60:7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; -
Isaiah 33:22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us. -
Jeremiah 31:31-34 “The day is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife,” says the Lord.“But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord . “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.” -
Luke 22:20 After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people-an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you. -
John 5:16-18 So the Jewish leaders began harassing Jesus for breaking the Sabbath rules. But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”So the Jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill him. For he not only broke the Sabbath, he called God his Father, thereby making himself equal with
Mark 2:24-26 But the Pharisees said to Jesus, “Look, why are they breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath?”Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He went into the house of God (during the days when Abiathar was high priest) and broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat. He also gave some to his companions.”
Matthew 5:22;28;32;34;39;44 But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell. But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery. But I say, do not make any vows! Do not say, ‘By heaven!’ because heaven is God’s throne. But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! - (Christ laws trump moses)
Hebrews 3:3;6 But Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a house deserves more praise than the house itself. But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ. -
Hebrews 8:6-7;13 But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it.When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear. -
2nd Corinthians 3:7-15 The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever! We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the people of Israel would not see the glory, even though it was destined to fade away.Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand. -
Galatians 6:2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. -
John 15:10;12 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
John 14:21 Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” -
James 2:8-13 Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws. For the same God who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law.So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets you free. There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you. -
Romans 4:15 For the law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it. (The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break!) -
Romans 8:3-4 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit. -
Romans 10:4-5 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
Acts 13:39 Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight-something the law of Moses could never do. -
Galatians 2:17-21 But suppose we seek to be made right with God through faith in Christ and then we are found guilty because we have abandoned the law. Would that mean Christ has led us into sin? Absolutely not!Rather, I am a sinner if I rebuild the old system of law I already tore down. For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law-I stopped trying to meet all its requirements-so that I might live for God.I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
Hebrews 11:6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. -
1t timothy 1:6-9 But some people have missed this whole point. They have turned away from these things and spend their time in meaningless discussions. They want to be known as teachers of the law of Moses, but they don’t know what they are talking about, even though they speak so confidently. For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy,
1st Corinthians 9:20-21 When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law. When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ. -
Hebrews 7:11-28 So if the priesthood of Levi, on which the law was based, could have achieved the perfection God intended, why did God need to establish a different priesthood, with a priest in the order of Melchizedek instead of the order of Levi and Aaron? And if the priesthood is changed, the law must also be changed to permit it.This change has been made very clear since a different priest, who is like Melchizedek, has appeared.Jesus became a priest, not by meeting the physical requirement of belonging to the tribe of Levi, but by the power of a life that cannot be destroyed. And the psalmist pointed this out when he prophesied, “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”For the law never made anything perfect. But now we have confidence in a better hope, through which we draw near to God.Because of this oath, Jesus is the one who guarantees this better covenant with God.But because Jesus lives forever, his priesthood lasts forever. The law appointed high priests who were limited by human weakness. But after the law was given, God appointed his Son with an oath, and his Son has been made the perfect High Priest forever. -

John 8:29 Christ says everything I do is to please the father. Christ kept the Sabbath Luke 4:16. 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 16 we should have the mind of Christ. Ephesians chapter 5:1 be imitators of God we see the god rested in Genesis chapter 2 1 through 3.
