The team visited ESP Guitars in Japan recently. Not only we had amazing tours at their Custom Shop and production line facilities, but we received more than what we were offered; an exclusive interview with one of the pioneers and an important figure of the company -
Mr. Makoto Suzuki.
We get in depth with the humble Suzuki-San about ESP Guitars and his journey working with one of the accomplished/biggest guitar companies.
It was an honour to be hosted by a knowledgeable and down-to-earth individual.

I wish I am ESP endorsed artist but oh well I’m not cut for it 😆 I could only afford an Edwards(under one roof) though, nonetheless it’s all good.

hi,ask my question please, Edwards produced in Japan or in China ? some news is busy talking about them making an esp factory in china for body cut and neck and finishing in japan, marked with a logo that is just a sticker,or all manufacturing production made in from esp japan ?

I've got an Edwards Alexi. You can tell it was made in Japan just by the quality of the craftsmanship, the fretwork in particular. They have cut costs in some areas, the ebony board isn't as jet black as an E-II for example, but it is regardless every bit as good as my E-IIs.
If I go to Japan currently is it possible to order an ESP MX 250 model?
I’m pretty sure you can find it in a lot of guitar stores in Ochanomizu, Tokyo.
