    Lovely collection of Maples. Some of them look very old like they could tell great stories. I took about 40 cuttings of Acers from my neighbours plant. It is green in summer and turns an orange/red colour in October before dropping all it's leaves. Some of my cuttings have already browned and don't look so good but others look very good and have even grown slightly. Looking forward to seeing how they develop, one looks a very nice shape and size that I may keep for my large empty Acer pot in my garden.

      Thanks! Sounds like some of your cuttings are doing good so far which is great!

    For airlayering on JM's is it best to wait until the spring leaves have hardened off?

    • @MomijiEn
      @MomijiEn  2 роки тому

      For me yes, that's the time to air layer and get the best results! 😁

    How do you manage the watering? You have so much trees ...

    • @MomijiEn
      @MomijiEn  2 роки тому

      Not too bad, the climate is very moderate here so it's easy to manage watering.
